Zizzi - Newcastle - Menu

My wife and I ate here before a show. Service was good, perhaps a tad slow on bringing the bill. The food was good. My calzone particularly good, and my wife enjoyed her carbonara.

eating is amazing, but service is terrible. I calculated £4 for a non-alcoholic beer I didn't get. it was calculated £2.95 for pasta wars that are actually marked on the house. prices have risen a lot. meal for 2 was £75. the workers seem. help to avoid actiw or interact.

had a really good night in Zizzi’s. with friends. we were asked to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. all employees were extremely efficient, friendly profi. mark is a credit for the restaurant. thanks for making our visit pleasant. The food was delicious I can definitely recommend the king prawn linguine.

we visited 5-15 clocks on a Saturday, so had to book in advance. it is obviously very popular, there is a great choice of eating the staff, although the work was not holding point helpful and friendly. although a little loud it does not spoil the visit .,if they are newcastle worth visiting and very close to the theatre royal.

Booked a table for 3 before a show on Wednesday night (30th Mar). Table booked for 17.45 hours which we thought would give us plenty of time for the show at 19.30 hours. Starter took 30 minutes to arrive and then waited for the main...meal. By 18.50 hours I was having my doubts about it ever arriving to be told I would have to wait at least another 15 minutes. Left at 19.00 hours very hungry and very disappointed. Definitely wont be going back.

we received a very warm, friendly greeting and led directly to our table of brand, who gave us together with other workers some great recommendations for eating and drinking. we all chose different food options and everyone was very happy with...their decisions that were well presented and delicious as well as hot. beautiful environment and a great theatre room as it was so close, but the staff was also so efficient without feeling angry. highly recommended to come here. everything was very clean and lots of space between tables to offer a bit private sphere. well made to all team and thanks for such a great service!

Food good, service good but was on a Wednesday night early on. Pizzas and starters were very good, the new arancini were excellent. Drinks are expensive and like other reviewers I do think the restaurant has suffered since they have provided a take away service....They should concentrate on their core business and dining customers to return to their former glories. One huge niggle was the fact that the card reader was not working and all and sundry had to walk out to the nearest cash point and back to pay in cash. No backup system or contingency in evidence, with the problem being the customer’s not theirs. Bizzare customer service, which irked a tad.

Came in on Saturday night with my date for our first Zizzi's experience and we were certainly not disappointed with our choice of restaurant. We were greeted at the door by Mark and he set the tone for the night right away with his friendliness...and big personality. He was taking caring of us from start to finish, making sure everything was spot on and gave us a number of recommendations, ALL of which were absolutely fantastic. This genuinely might be the best customer service I've ever received, in any restaurant. Food was of high quality and both flavorful and fresh pizza or pasta, you can't really go wrong with either one here, they are definitely good at what they do, compliments to kit...
