great place to stay on a bike tour. the hotel offers a beautiful garage, all the tools they need and even wash their clothes. the food was great (both in the restaurant in the evening and the breakfast in the morning.) very friendly and friendly staff.

There has been something in them years, but it is very cozy. The staff very carefully and friendly. The rooms are very clean and it is very quiet. We walked 3 km to downtown. That's okay. You can also take the bus, which runs every 15 minutes. The restaurant is VERY good. Very recommended! Rooms: 5

This hotel was an exception to my other booking habits and surprised me very positively. Nice welcome and good service. Rooms very good. Small menu but delicious dishes. in this hotel we were on our bike tour along rhein and mosel. the rooms were clean and well equipped, but after the energy-producing 150km tour of the day before we were almost satisfied with everything. the breakfast buffet in the morning was very rich and there was even laughing. he was very kind too. we were able to place our bikes at night in his garage and at the time of divorce he told us very detailed what the mosel will see high.

it is a modernized traditional hotel that was the perfect combination of culture and comfort from beginning to end it was an excellent experience. from the parking lot on our own parking lot right in front of the entrance, over a delicious breakfast buffet to a mountain bike tour including the exciting mountain chains to the city itself we enjoyed ourselves and the people we met. the workers are native, they know where to have great bike tours and where to have the best ice we have ever tried. thanks for the amazing and warm hospitality! we are coming back

I can't rate the room because I was only there to eat. The service is friendly. Addressing people with “Du” is a bit unusual, but not bad. Unfortunately, when it gets busy, it also gets very loud, so that the service almost can't hear you. The hotel-restaurant is located on a very narrow street with very little parking space. That's a shame, but the hotel is now in its third generation. There is a slightly larger parking space about 5 minutes' walk away. When it comes to food, the price/performance is ok. The food is also very tasty. I don't give full stars because there are always improvements.

We booked the Black Bear for a company event, both a 3-course menu for a group of 30 with an aperitivo in the beautiful courtyard and some of the rooms in the hotel next door. Everything was just right. Despite a full restaurant next to our huge and sometimes chaotic group, the super nice and professional Schwarzer Bär team managed the situation with enough professionalism, relaxedness and humor. The food was excellent and on time and the hotel rooms were also very nice. Consistently positive feedback from all guests, including the cozy, well-equipped location. I would also give 10 stars if I could.
