"We knew this place prides itself on serving the best homemade desserts, like their lemon meringue tart. We also were aware that their ice cream is artisanal, meticulously made through the expertise of Chef Casalonga who periodically creates totally new flavors. They attract customers looking for light meals and offer a wide variety of sandwiches, including your choice of croque monsieur (fried ham and cheese in toast) or croque madame made with gruyere cheese and often served with a fried egg on top. On our last visit, they had two daily specials, a gourmet burger or “tabouleh gourmand” salad with corn, fresh mint, chick peas, cucumbers, black olives , raisins, and dried tomatoes. The place's French ambiance didn't seem right for a burger, so we ordered the tabouleh, not minding that it was made with couscous grains instead of the cracked wheat that we were used to having. Overall, a perfect afternoon and we recommend the Cafe highly. Click here to Reply or Forward"
