"Seit dem 1.10.20 ist dieses Haus unter neuer Leitung und die alten negativen Bewertungen dürften sich damit wohl erledigt haben. Wir verbrachten vier Nächte im Hotel Messerschmidt und speisten an zwei Abenden hier. Der Service nicht durchgängig perfekt( etwas unterkühlt, Aperitif wurde nicht angeboten, erst auf Nachfrage), aber Herr Fatih sehr professionell, höflich, freundlich. Er sorgte an beiden Abenden für die perfekte Weinbegleitung. An ersten Abend: Saibling Tatar und Wachtel als Vorspeise, beides sehr gut, auch für das Auge. Hauptgang nochmals Saibling und Perlhuhn Brust, beides geschmacklich und qualitativ einwandfrei. Schönes Dessert und nicht auf der Karte: Eine schöne Käseauswahl. Auch am zweiten Abend waren wir sehr zufrieden, hervorzuheben hier das Duett vom Kalb und das Gateau au chocolate......jede Kalorie wert! In Summe: Wir haben zweimal wirklich sehr gut gegessen. Weiterhin der neuen Leitung und deren Team viel Erfolg und alles Gute."

"Great food. Been there early evening on July 30th. Great praise to the kitchen. Had ordered the ladle, hunter's carving and sweet potatoes. The service acts polite and professional—>Top. A very positive point: at last a restaurant in Bamberg that takes the step to put Spätzle on the map. Although no plate decoration, the plates are full and saturating price performance ratios are more than appropriate for the situation. Cocktails with fresh fruits, just the waiting period, for this, a little long. Always worth a visit. Since during the Corona time the staff must continue to wear mask/mouth protection in the gastronomy, each guest should decide to remunerate this measure via the tip."

"After we went on the eve, we had planned to visit a beer cellar today. The morning rain prompted us to redispose at short notice. On Sunday at the Heerlein farm we reserved a table for 11:30 by phone at 10:00. The Landgasthof Heerlein is located at the foot of Altenburg, less than 5 minutes' drive from the Cathedral and the picturesque historic old town of Bamberg. You look back on a more than 100 years old tradition. In the interior a typical Franconian host house welcomes the guest, everything very well maintained. Since the weather has improved and occasionally to see the sun, we say briefly that we do not want to sit a problem despite the table reserved in the interior and a one-hour outdoor delay. We look for a table in the idyllic garden with old trees and are welcomed by a very friendly young lady. As soon as we sit, we get the cards. The wines of the regional winemakers are offered for prices between € 3.20 4.20 0.2 ltr. The regional beers are €2.50 for 0.5 liter. In Oberfranken not too often Pilsbier is offered, so my choice immediately falls on a pils of the Keesmann brewery one of the best pilsbieres in the region and one specific. "So I've been ordering my pizza for years in this pizzeria and I'm really excited! It is very well occupied without being taken into account, is juicy and very well seasoned. The dough is quite thick, also juicy and at the same time very crispy. My favorites are the pizza Nicola (Sharp Salami and leaf spinach and cheese, and rrrrrrrrrrrh a lot of garlic, and the pizza eggplant. Only on the pizza eggplant: thick cheese, well seasoned, the eggplants are wonderfully grilled and through the olive oil they have an almost creamy bite feeling an absolute dream! I can't say so much about the service in the restaurant as I'm a self-leaser, but if I'm in the pick-up window, I'll always be super-friendly treated! Yeah, sometimes I have to wait, but that's never exaggerated. And sometimes I even wonder if I want a few more leaves of fresh basil on my pizza: As far as I'm concerned, I've already eaten many very good pizzas, and also some favorite restaurants, but the pizza from Italia in the garden town is really special for me!"

"I can't really rate the food because I only drank wine for lunch. But my wife had a garden salad that was large and varied and she enjoyed it. A liter of wine (shared, of course) and the salad came to 28 Euros. By the way, I've noticed a new phenomenon in Germany at many cafes and restaurants. They no longer serve free "tap" water, even if you just ask for a glass, say with your espresso. Many now charge 50 cents for a glass of what is called "tapfelwasser" (tablewater) or 1.50 euros for a tiny bottle. This is not mineral water, just American-style bottled tap water."

"Came here with a friend from Cologne after looking at another place with vegetarian options. We walked around and just happened to come across it. There were a few tables outside, but all were full. However, there were lots of tables inside, and while we would have preferred an outside table with the great warm evening, it turned out fine. The summer rolls and dumplings are delicious, the mango salad is light and tasty, the passion fruit juice smells and tastes great. My spouse had the shrimp with a crunchy sweet potato crisps and a side salad, all of which he liked. They have really reasonable prices, lots of good sized appetizers, curries, soups, salads, and main dishes."

"I was with my friends in this restaurant and must say that we were somewhat disappointed. we had to wait forever for our coffee and the potato soup I ordered needed over half an hour. that the selection and complexity of the feeds keeps within limits and the suppe was probably already finished and is only briefly heated, that was just too long. especially since I had to get my train and so the suppe had to reorder again.On my question, when it would finally come, I received from the service only the flat-rate answer "same".For a small ice chocolate my friend paid 4,80€, which is almost more expensive than in the ice cream.It can be nicely sitting outside, but I can't recommend this restaurant."

"We love the cafe-scene, where you savor the atmosphere and leisure as much as the coffee and cake. Graupner is best for the cakes and coffee, which are outstanding. You choose at the counter and give a chit to the waiter in the always-crowded dining area. He or she brings it eventually, with little or no courtesy or personal attention. As cramped as it is, leisure is not encouraged. Conversation is difficult as the cafe is a bit loud. However, the pastries are great and the beverages are good."

"Die Erfahrung war top das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend, das sub gut zubereitet. Der Kundenservice verdient ohne Zweifel mehr als die üblichen 5 Sterne. "Super nice and great restaurant. The ambience is simply great and it is beautifully decorated. The operators are two brothers who also brew the beer themselves. Try the different beers (including some great craft beers). Taste great. The food is very good and you will definitely be full. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Happy hour is on Monday and Wednesday from 7 p.m. The beer then costs 3 euros. You can't expect more. Definitely 5 stars from me. Go there and feel good."

Personal war gut drauf, freundlich und hatte sichtlich Spaß an der Sache/Arbeit. Eine war jedoch wohl noch Anfängerin, der der Blick fehlte: Mal schweifen lassen, ob jemand was will! Außergewöhnliche, wechselnde Karte, nicht nur das übliche Schnitzel und Burger-Zeugs. Klasse Idee. Ich hoffe dass euer Konzept erfolgreich ist und bleibt. Essen: gute Hausmannskost mit exotischem und/oder veganem Touch (schwarzer Sesam, Hummus), teilweise jedoch auch (aufgepimpte) Fertiggerichte (Gemüse aus der Dose, Röstzwiebeln). Toiletten sind ganz hinten, mit Licht zum selbst an/aus schalten (auch im Flur). Tageslicht, Fenster, sauber. Parkplatz ist nicht beleuchtet!"

"when my friends booked our rooms in this hotel, they explained that the hotel has a wonderful restaurant, so we don't need to look for one and just have to go down. we did not know how famous it was until we tried to reserve a table, the restaurant was full, everything was reserved. but as we were guests of the hotel, they finally found a table for us. eating was very good. we had the fish dish (tender), two brat pans with meat and potatoes, fried together with other delicious things. we had frankfurter, eis (mango) and more. I can't remember all the dishes we had on these two evenings, but the price was amazingly good, I can't remember to have paid so little in such restaurants in other places I visited in Germany (approximately 70 euro for all four of us not including wine, beer, coffee, tea and hot chocolate drink)."

"Bamberg, Hallstadt district. The Laubanger is THE street in this part, spiced with shops, small locals and all that life needs. Or not. At one end of this street there is a large washing street, in whose buildings there is also a sub stop. Please do not confuse with a subway, this small chain offers significantly more choice. The station itself is quite little inviting from the outside, without recommendation you need a portion of courage to dare a sample. We had the courage weeks ago and it was good. This time again on a snack for the Sub Stop to see if the quality is constant. Drinks were this time: Well, there is little to say about the drinks. Apart from the Welch ́s . I imagined it more intensely from the taste, American . So I was pleasantly surprised to have no oversweet lemonade in front of me, but a scorl with a subtle taste. "I came here while waiting to check into my apartment. I thought I would give it another try, so I sat down and was given a menu after minutes, but then sort of forgotten about, as there weren't that many people sitting outside, tho...it was nice day. The chairs were uncomfortable, as they are of wicker and sunk down a bit, so that bothered my back. I ordered the hot chocolate, which arrived in a small cup and was mostly hot water and powder. It was not a great drink, esp in comparison to other cafes, tho I thot the locale was quiet and away from the traffic. Although this time I tried a piece of pie, the Swetchgen Kase Torte. That was good and original. From this one experience, I wouldn't really recommend it"

"Pizza sehr lecker, aber Burger ist eine Katastrophe. Ich habe “den Burger” in einer Edeka Tüte bekommen und drinnen „Burger-Baguette“. Fleisch einfach im Supermarkt fertig gekauft und das war’s. Also 1,5 Stunde zu warten, hat sich null gelohnt. Gut, dass mein Freund Pizza bestellt hat, sonst wäre ich nur wegen dem ausgegebenen Geld sauer. Nie wieder Burger. Pizza ist empfehlenswert."
