"I visited Bath Pizza Co last night with my partner and her family to celebrate her graduation. We decided to order the calamari because it was delicious on our previous visit. Unfortunately, about ten minutes later, we were informed that they had run out of calamari, which was disappointing as there weren't many other starter options. We opted for the wings instead, and they were fantastic. However, shortly after, they unexpectedly brought out the calamari, leaving us confused due to the lack of communication from the staff regarding the mix-up. We waited 45 minutes for olives, and just as the starters arrived, our pizzas came out as well. The food truly is amazing; however, since they operate from two different kitchens, the service and timing can be inconsistent. They also forgot to bring two dishes but still charged us for them. There needs to be better communication between the kitchens. I would suggest opting for takeaway instead; dining in may not be worth your time and money! "Ate here very early evening before going to the Rondo theatre. Worked perfectly, as just a short walk away. Very tasty pizza, with choice of sizes, great for those not wanting to stuff themselves! Smaller one was ample with lots of topping. My partner had a generous plate of salmon with sourdough. Very nice. Shared a tasty pudding. Nice atmosphere, busy but not noisy. Recommended it to others when we arrived at the theatre. Definitely need to book, only bar tables left when I booked, but they are fine!"

"Shall I compare thee to a summers day or restaurant in this case. This restaurant has surpassed any dining experience I have had before. There is a six course or nine course tasting menu or a smaller four course which we went for. We also chose to have the wine tasting experience with a sample of high quality wine to complement each course. We are so glad we chose to do this. The waiting staff bring over the wine and tell you all about it. Different chefs come out and tell you where the food has been sourced and answer any questions you might have. Each dish was an explosion of amazing tastes. I feel I have been ruined for anything less. The Lobster was my favourite. My husbands favourite dish was the deer. Chris Cleghorn has just won “Chef of the year 2023”. I can totally understand why. It was a birthday treat and if you tell them beforehand they bring you out some chocolates with Happy Birthday written in chocolate on the plate. The quality of the food and wine reflects the price. "Dinner had to be sent back twice. Once it was cold, like veg not even warm. took over 20mins for replacement to come. Manger didn't say anything just ignored us. Second time, they'd overcooked it, totally inedible. By then it was nearly 10pm! Not once did the manager approach with apologies left it to the poor waitress. Very unprofessional and I'd definitely discipline that manger. It was just awful and I must say I was surprised."

"Comptoir is one of my favorite restaurants in Bath. Having visited Beirut frequently, I can say that Comptoir's food is authentic, fresh, and incredibly tasty. It reminds me so much of Lebanon. When my parents visited Bath, I took them to Comptoir. My Dad, who used to fly in and out of Beirut and eat there all the time, was very impressed by the food. This is a fantastic endorsement for the delicious taste of authentic Lebanese cuisine. We are lucky to live nearby and can enjoy dining there regularly. The staff is excellent and the restaurant is always fresh, clean, and lively. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with a warm greeting and a vibrant ambiance that transports you to a different world. I highly recommend trying Comptoir - you won't be disappointed."

"Had a really lovely evening here last night, the food delicious and reasonably priced. The wine was quite expensive so we opted for the ‘house red’ which was absolutely fine for us. The staff were attentive, but not intrusive, the ambience of the restaurant was warm and inviting. I would definitely recommend, and will be going back for sure."

"we really enjoyed our meal here. came to celebrate our 9th anniversary. Unfortunately, we were not told during our booking that we would only have 90 minutes of the table, as we felt in a hurry and on cursing a bad decision from the office hardly jumped fair on the staff. my main meal was pork belly it was divine 10/10 my man had the rib and he was very happy with him cooked to his lust. I decided for the mont blanc from the festive menu for dessert it was such a disappointment 1/10 bought in meringue very small chestnut and saw chocolate drops that were more like what they melted down for tempting. cote should improve or take it from the menu. I have let the server know of my unmut, unfortunately I have paid the full price for it. our drinks were well made and the wee was excellent, the employees were very friendly and efficient, especially the cookies served. so close to getting 5 stars."

"The interior of this Thai chain strikes you immediately. It is like a film set with its many well thought out pieces of ephemera from Thailand scattered around the restaurant. We began with the very reasonably priced cocktails which were well presented and packed a punch. The vegan mixed starter was pricey for the amount we got but all the elements were good especially the corn fritters. For main I had the tofu with veg and cashews. It was a good portion and came in a very tasty sauce. For the price though I feel it should have come with rice/noodles; the noodles I had were an extra £4.50 which I think is a bit ott. Overall a solid meal in a great environment."

"I visited with my wife, on the occasion of my birthday. We stepped into the restaurant 5 mins early for our reservation. Staff seemed to be going in all directions, making eye contact then walking away before I had a chance to say ‘hello, we have a booking’. Eventually, one staff member said ‘table for two?’ and started looking around as if to fit us in. I said that we had a booking, but there was no acknowledgment or this, or request of my name. We were given menus and sat down. We were sat there long enough to order our drinks along with our food. The drinks took a good 20mins to arrive, in fact after poppadoms and pickles were finished and this was one at a time and after prompting. Granted, they were cocktails. A huge opportunity missed for the owner. For me, you get your drinks to your diner asap, often they are thirsty and you get another drinks order my the time the food arrives. We were served by several people while there, often being asked twice about something we’d already ordered, and yet on more than one occasion had to ask for what we wanted, or to order (the couples either side also had this). Overall service appeared chaotic with little communication or organisation tables allocated to staff members would have really helped! NOW despite the apparent chaos, why still the 4 star rating? Well, the food was simply outstanding, some of the best Indian food I’ve tasted. The staff were also lovely, mainly young and were very helpful. I almost feel bad writing the feedback, but they did ask several times if we could please write a review… so I have! To summarise, I hope the management take this in the spirit it is intended, as we enjoyed the food immensely, but with a little front of house organisation, it could have been an amazing dining experience! The food is sooo good! Thanks"

"The restaurant offers a separate menu for vegans, featuring two starters and two main courses. Unfortunately, there are no vegan desserts listed, but the staff was accommodating and offered to prepare something for me. The vegan options are priced lower than the meat and vegetable dishes, which is a pleasant surprise. I felt welcomed, although I wish they would simply include the vegan menu without having to ask for it. The food was delicious, some of the best I've had. I would recommend this restaurant for those looking for alternatives to the usual dining options."

"A friend of mine and I went to get coffee and cake from here and both were exceptional. We dined in and I ordered a large soya latte (which was large by the way) and the strawberry cheesecake and my friend ordered a flat white...with a bakewell slice. We enjoyed it so much we went back later in the day and ordered coffee to take out which was just as good. They have a service hatch for take out which is great if you are more COVID conscious and don’t like the idea of going inside to get coffee. The staff are very friendly and attentive too. If you are a coffee lover, you must visit this place!"

"One of Bath's best kept culinary secrets ! Friendly pub and staff outside the hustle and bustle of the city center. Had a meal to rival many of the better known culinary destinations in Bath In a relaxed friendly casual atmosphere with very reasonable prices. Four of us ate, and all thought the food was excellent, even though we all chose a wide selection of dishes. Starters Scallops, Humous, Peppers, Lamb Mains 2 x Steak, Sole, Cauliflower Aston was particularly helpful in explaining the dishes. Only criticism was the toilets, which are looking very tired."

"The food here is absolutely delicious! I started with miso soup and takoyaki, followed by curry for my main course. They offer incredible dishes with plenty of vegan options, which my friends loved. Every dish was bursting with flavor, and I really enjoyed everything I tried! The chefs were not only excellent but also quite handsome. I will definitely be coming back!"

"Popped in for lunch, it was pretty busy but service was attentive and friendly. We had the standard vegan one and a marinara with vegan cheese on a gf blue corn base. A bit pricey but huge pizzas (we ended up taking 1/2 back home for later) and excellent quality, tasty, fresh and interesting ingredients . Really tasty vegan cheese and exciting to have a range of gf bases that tasted really good."

"Went as a party of 4 for dinner on our first night of a weekend in Bath after the restaurant being recommended by friends who have dined there before saying it was the best food they had tasted outside of Thailand. So, was expecting great things and boy did it deliver. The sharing platters as starters were amazing, So much flavour and the presentation was top notch. The mains were out of this world. I had Pad Kee Mao it was so good I bought the cookbook to replicate at home. Everyone in our party couldn't say enough good things about the food. The guy serving us was brilliant, great personality, fantastic sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. Also had a beautiful Buddhist watch you know who you are). If you get the chance go, it's awesome. Just make sure to book in advance."
