"Bit sad to write this. Was not a great meal. Deliberately chose to support a local independent rather than a chain. Was v quiet. Great menu and lots of specials. Waiting staff very friendly and efficient. Food was just v average. Crackers tasted refried, fish cakes were tiny and tasted frozen. Lots of pineapple .. even in the rice.. Other food was serviceable and edible but we left a lot and not cos we weren't hungry. I hope it was just an off night because I really want these kind of places to stay open. Must be **** tough running a restaurant at the moment and for that reason I would return to give it a second chance despite the somewhat underwhelming initial experience."

"The individual workers here are lovely, but the manager/boss is far, far too hurtful, berating the employees at the slightest mistake. Totally ruins the atmosphere and I cannot in good conscience reccomend this business until they start being nicer to the people they employ. Orders being messed up is a normal part of life, and the irony is that, even if there were dozens *more* mistakes, I'd spend far more money here if they were dealt with kindly, instead of my purchase risking somebody being scolded."

"Once up the stairs, you are greeted by a well appointed restaurant with great views of the Abbey which looked especially good lit up at night. There is a separate vegan menu and you are struck immediately by the reasonable prices. The onion Bhaji to start was superb. Rather than the usual ball, they came in strips which meant they were really crispy and avoided the chickpea flour goo you sometimes get in Bhajis. The accompanying chutney was also delicious. The menu said there was kale in the bhajis and although there were flecks of green, I’m not sure it added a huge amount but that is a minor issue when the dish is so delicious. The bhel puri was a very large portion and although I enjoyed it, it could have done with some peanuts, potato and onion as is usually in the bhel puri I have had in the past. A bit more tamarind sauce would also have lifted the dish. These small issues were forgotten once the outstanding mains were tasted. The masala dosa was perfect; Crisp pancake, soft, well spiced potato interior and tasty chutney and curry sauce. The baby aubergine curry was fantastic, a subtle but rich sauce that complimented the creamy aubergine. The paratha was flakey and perfect for mopping up the outstanding sauce. An excellent meal."

"We made a reservation for a party of 8, including 2 people with dietary restrictions which were communicated in advance. All the orders were taken and delivered smoothly. Due to not being able to pre-select menu choices, there was a slight delay in getting our food (especially considering it was a Friday night), but the wait was worth it. The dishes were delicious and well-presented, with the steak being cooked perfectly. The only difficult part was deciding what to order, as everything on the menu sounded appealing. The service was attentive but not overbearing, striking a perfect balance. We were so impressed that we have already made another reservation and are looking forward to returning. What more could you ask for in a recommendation?"

"we are here last night and it was nice eating, friendly staff. we both had curry one was disappointed and the other was lammed and I can not recommend both of these dishes enough. the kokosreis was absolutely delicious and the cracker for the table when we arrived were fantastic. the beer was very beautiful and the music was beautiful and not too loud. the atmosphere was really nice and the restaurant was not very busy when we were there and so there was not much noise, which meant that our meals could be enjoyed."

"The restaurant was quite quiet, all the others eating there left half way through our meal. We were mostly left alone once the food arrived. After we had finished we waited in vain for staff to clear up and offer dessert or coffee. So after approx 15 mins we asked for the bill and left. Only then did we have a conversation. The food was ok, nicely cooked squid and duck. It was a very small tapas menu and if you have a fussy enough partner finding dishes without his dislikes was difficult. We felt the staff could have been more attentive and felt the food choice limited and over priced, but then this is Bath!"

"Sotto Sotto has a stunning location and the food was as good as Martini's used to be. And that was good. But it has the air of a place that wants to turn over tables quickly to get the next diners in. Service was okay but not brilliant, and not what I'd expect from a restaurant of this standard. It's still worth a visit, but I'd like them to be less slick and rekindle their polish and style instead Service: Dine in"

"I'm not really sure how this has won awards. The Food was incredibly greasy and to be honest I've had far better Thai dishes elsewhere. The beef in black bean was OK. It was described by my partner as take away standard. My dad's dish...the same. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was horrific. It smelt odd and had a taste of garbage. At first I thought the chicken was off but took a bite and it tasted metallic like it had been boiled then reheated in a microwave. It definitely wasn't fresh. The rest of the party tasted some and said it was awful and advised me not to eat it. When I told the waitress she listened politely but that was it. When the bill came in at far too expensive for the quality of the food) I had to ask her why my dish wasn't taken off. It was embarrassing and awkward. Wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend."

"Exceptional food and service. Everything from the appetisers, the mains and the dessert was truly outstanding. Even if you aren't hungry, just pop in and try their cheesecake. It's flavour, texture and presentation was on exquisite. They made our night by bringing out a dessert that said Happy 8th anniversary. Management Staff are super friendly and attentive. "Best burgers in Bath and they deliver!! I used to think Schwartz bros was the best burger in Bath but since I discovered Bear Grills I would always prefer them, hands down tastiest burger I’ve ever had. Always great service and food always arrives hot and awesome! Put on a few Llbs 2 since I discovered them but my smile is huge and always tell my mates and family to go there! "This is the best Indian food I have ever tasted! Don't underestimate this restaurant by its appearance - once you walk in, you will be amazed by the beautiful ambiance and delicious dishes. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and they offer a great variety of vegan and gluten-free options. Despite the ongoing Covid-19 situation, I felt very safe dining here as all the staff were wearing masks and practicing social distancing. The dining experience was still just as special. I will definitely be coming back to try the tasting menu!"

"While on holiday in Bath, my companions and I stumbled upon Vino Vino for dinner. It turned out to be a perfect choice. The food was truly delicious, with attentive staff both at the table and at the bar. I appreciated that they were willing to think outside the box when I requested a cocktail that wasn't on the menu. The combination of coconut and vanilla syrup in my drink was just right for my palate. Service was consistently excellent, with timely clearing of our table and a high level of professionalism. The Quattro Formaggio pizza with mushrooms reminded me of the flavors of Italy, giving me a pleasant sense of deja-vu. We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned the next day for a light lunch, which was once again perfect."

"We walked straight past it and someone asked if we were lost, and told us where it was. We ordered chai, everything in a box and a bhaji wrap with a samosa. It is all take away but it was quite quickly prepared. I liked my bhaji wrap particularly. My partner enjoyed his everything in a box too. The chai was sweet and tasted nice. Just look carefully at the numbers in the street!"

"The food here was surprisingly good- I was surprised as it’s attached to a premier inn, 12oz Rump was lovely- cooked how I like it, the sauce delightful and crispy chips. 4 stars just because it was super hard to find- and wasn’t that busy so the atmosphere could have been a little better. lol"

"The scrambled eggs with smoked salmon were absolutely delicious. The combination of the fluffy eggs and the smoked salmon was mouthwatering. Perfecting scrambled eggs like these takes real skill, and the chef here has definitely mastered it. The Americano was also excellent. The cozy atmosphere, featuring a touch of Shabby Chic, along with the friendly and efficient staff, made for a perfect brunch to start the day. Highly recommended!"

"I absolutely love bens cookies, my boyfriend and I come to bens very often for their delicious treats, however; today I went in and the customer service wasn’t good at all. This can be forgiven as everyone has bad days but I asked for cookie...dough ice cream, when the lady gave me my ice cream it was brownie flavoured. I asked ‘what flavour is this’ as I was pretty sure it wasn’t and she said it was cookie dough and walked away. She lied, it wasn’t the flavour I asked for and I was left with something I had payed for but didn’t want. Ended up throwing it away. Nothing against the products, they are amazing but I’d appreciate getting the right product, especially after I’ve made the effort and double checked."

"it loved how when you sit down, bring them a crippled water. they mark their order on the menu and take the until. divided muscheln to start. we are breathtaking. had cod and chips curry sauce and muddy heaps like my man and children. large size components. the curry sauce was amazing. very friendly waitress. would be highly recommended and looking forward to going back and try fishing from the grill. would even drive the 20 minutes to have the take. enjoy them from all of us"

"in this week my wife visited that she explored good burger connections. I have eaten some burgers in my time, but this place wins the best in the class hands down. we had a django and 12 monkeys and both were five stars. do not let them be of the small size or the fact that it is a bit away from the tourist areas. it's fantastic."
