"We found this restaurant from a directory. Up on the first floor over a parade of shops, it is easy to miss. A large first floor restaurant (100+ covers? with a cheap public car park opposite, it is reached only by stairs with no lift. Nevertheless, several other diners were using sticks and crutches and struggled with the stairs, and the place was nearly full. We were warned in advance that food service would be slow due to volume. It was very slow, but the staff were very professional and the food excellent. When we left, having taken over 3 hours to get and eat our banquet , it was still busy but other local establishments had closed. It suggests this was the best place around! We could not fault either the food or the actual service just the speed! Far from disabled friendly, but worth the struggle! Worth going back if in the area again."

"This was our first Christmas dinner out as a family so we did not know what to expect. We have been to the Packe Arms many times and have always been impressed. Christmas Day was no exception. Staff were lovely, food was brilliant and the atmosphere was very festive. We particularly loved that there was a busy atmosphere but that the pub had not been packed to the max. The flow of families was very well managed, it wasn't too crowded and you weren't rushed off your table either, but there were enough people about to feel like tounwere sharing the daybwith others. We were served quickly but leisurely and not once we're we made to feel an inconvenience or a bother. Staff seemed to be happy working and we're all in good spirits too Kid-friendliness: Our children have always been welcomed and accommodated here Price per person: £80–90 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot"

"We ate at Yasmins on the 22nd September. Our favorite midweek venue, We had pompadoms and dips, 4 starters, 4 mains, rice and nans, all the food was well cooked and presented, Service was efficient and good humoured. Taking your own Beers/Wines helps with the cost, The bill was for £77. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The TripAdvisor address is “Loughborough) not a problem for us but could be confusing. Highly recommended. Paul Reynolds."

"Decided to try the Groupon thing out only because I got a further 20% discount. It was barely worth it. The grounds and frontage are lovely. The reception area is ok. The bar area worn and the orangery wants some major roof repair works and cleaning. You look up there's damp patches holes and plaster bubbling. Furniture in the bar area badly worn, carpets no comment. So, we were shown to our table. Table linen clean and tidy. Pity the surrounding tables were or had been left with leftovers. Even the breakfast serving table had left over beans still stuck to it it was 3pm.... The delivery of the cake stand with sandwiches and cakes it was quite good actually. Fresh. Chilled. Very enjoyable. We had tea coffee and prosecco. Must say the stand alone quality of food and beverage was good I thought. Pity the surroundings are borderline dreadful. Overall the experience was average. I knew it wasn't gong to be fantastic so my expectation level was set perfectly. Given that. I was neither impressed nor disappointed. I would neither recommend nor return for this experience. For what was paid via Groupon, it was worth it. Around £16 for 2 including Prosecco. A final note. The location is gearing up for the annual wedding fayre nonsense. I have to say given the interior condition it would be the last place Id chose for an event such as that. We were going to ask to see rooms but given the state of the orangery we didn't bother. The staff were reasonably attentive and friendly."

"Had a lovely meal at The Badgers with my daughter. Staff were attentive but not overly intrusive and could answer questions we had about the menu. A couple of the menu options were not available but otherwise could not fault the evening."

"we ate there as a party of 14, in the crimbo limbo twixt christmas and new year. Yes, there was a waiting time, but it was full. 14 adult fed for under £300 and that included a £30 tip, some had starters, some had desserts, we all had drinks and a main course, so that is good worth in my book. my food was in order and I didn't hear any complaining, I love the idea of a mini dessert and hot drink that was dessert was a perfect part for me and tasty, we had expected the drinks had arrived at the same time, but they soon came after so no worries. excellent access to the building and a disabled toilet, good attention from the staff for our needs."

"I 'm never one to leave a review, but this has to be one of the most disappointing restaurant visits I have EVER had so if I can advise others to save their money, I will. After ringing ahead to check if they were open/had tables free, they assured me they were, but when we got there they told me the hot plates aren 't working today, you can order from the menu which was probably a white lie, meaning they don 't have enough customers to make it worth running the buffet, this should have been my first clue to leave. The waitress quickly ushered us to our seats and gave us menus and said we could pick 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 sides (rice or noodle) each, which I thought was very reasonable as a replacement for an all you can eat buffet, and we were starving having not eaten much all day to make up for a big dinner. So we chose our items, and when she came back we tried to order and she then told us no, sorry, I meant one starter, one main and one rice each oh. At this point we 'd gotten this far so I held out hope thinking oh well, maybe the food is amazing! Nope. The position sizes were very small, average tasting and really not worth the money, we finished our meals still hungry, £20 out of pocket and it had been one disappointment after another. We left and went home to cook. Sorry, but don 't waste your money!"
