"I have seen time out fell in love with a place called maxs sandwiches for his oversized portions. Well, I guess basils would give him a run for his money. I heard about this place from the beautiful alex in zomato – their offices are close and they tweeted about their mammoth sarnie to lunch. I was transfixed and placed on my list. the only problem was that they are a city lunch place – only open Monday to Friday 12 clock 3. I had to wait for a day before I could try them! they make sandwiches fresh for them and have all the usual – ice-salat, thun-fish, chickens, as well as a lot variation and some of their own creations. alex had once a scotch egg and horned bark behemoth. I found it really hard to choose – I wanted something that would not do her average sandwich deli, but also something that my unspecific demand fulfilled. at the end I felt that I had too much time looking at all the options that were plastered over the walls and went for the first thing I liked the view – the chicken swiss melt (although the sausage crunchy melt also sound tempting – it has cramped in it! I was a little concerned that the ciabatta minzemeat would make my gum, but it was perfectly soft, but robust enough to stand up to the overflowing filling. it was served warm and I didn't want to let it go cold before I ate it so I started to cuckoo back to me in the tube. mistkerl. the chili mixture was full of tweepers and paprika (krunchy and fresh they delivered a large piece of bite and sweet and it was very saucy. I made such a mess. a delicious chaos. they did not slash on the chili flakes and the senf mayo also gave off a quantity of his own heat (yes, without hurting my nose, how can heal and barkocks.) I loved the baked chicken strips. the only thing I would say was not quite the work of the Swiss cheese – it had not really melted properly and was quite superfluous. and this bestie was just £4.90! great."

"The Harp has been my favourite pub in London since I first visited it probably just over 10 years ago. I couldn 't wait to go back when my wife and I visited London again to watch a show over the Bank Holiday weekend. We got to The Harp at just before 10pm on a Sunday. I had forgotten that the pubs seem to close ridiculously early on Sunday nights in the capital but there were still quite a number of customers drinking, inside and out. I bought a pint and my wife a drink and we sat down to drink them in the presumption that we may have 20-30 minutes drinking up time before the pub closed properly. We had literally sat down 2 minutes when one of the bar staff announced they were closing in 10 minutes. I thought they were winding the customers up, considering I 'd only just been served but I was wrong. The barmaid and a bloke who I couldn 't work out if he worked there too or she just knew him, then started arguing loudly and he pushed something off the bar which smashed on the floor which escalated the argument further. It was becoming really uncomfortable watching the barmaid screaming and shouting in front of us in such a small pub. She then yelled that they were closing so some customers then walked towards the toilets upstairs and she started shouting, Where the are they going? We 're closing! Why are they going to the toilet now! When I said we 're closing in 10 minutes, why didn 't they go then? She made a real show of herself and was rude and aggressive to customers. My wife said she wanted to leave straight away so she left half her drink and we went. I hope the brewery see this review and look into it. The Harp used to be a fantastic pub which I never failed to enjoy visiting but to experience this woman badgering customers and shouting and swearing in front of them means I 'm afraid to say, I won 't be going back. From a 5-star to no stars (if I could) in the 4 years since I last visited."
