"Great restaurant! They got a prize for their mayonnaise egg that I took and it's a pleasure. beautiful decoration, everything is well thought out for young children (price adjusted for small portions, changing mattresses in the toilet). everything is good and cooked products are of very good quality. we highly recommend you!!"

"Booked the restaurant for a group of 35 people. First of all from what I could see this is a team of 2 people with one in the kitchen and the a lady doing the service, therefore I found it to be very good and efficient (although she seemed to be overwhelmed at times which I do not blame her with such a big group). All of our guests also found the food to be excellent wether it was the buffet starter (of which the choice was really good) the mains (grilled meat) or the desserts, also everything is homemade and extremely fresh. Finally they were great at catering for the vegetarians."

"We were so impressed during our first visit that we came back the next night, I had the local pork sausage the first night, and looking at the side table that took the steak, they said it was excellent then the next night I had that and reported it as very good. the staff spoke a little English but was patient with me while I was trying my French. Overall, a comfortable restaurant is small but of good quality."

"We wanted a vegetarian option as a member of our group is a carrot muncher! Difficult to find in France but Fleur de Sel in Dinan was superb! Limited option of only one starter and one main but enough to satisfy the most ardent of herbivores. As for the rest of the group we had oysters, beef gravalax for starters and the main dish we chose the same of grilled fillet lemon sole which melted on the palateFor desert everyone chose the cheese board. Unlike other establishments where you are limited to a number of choices but at Fleur de Sel you can have as many varieties of cheese as you desire from the selection trolley.Service was friendly but of a high quality. Other menu choices looked equally appealing and I'd highly recommend this servicesWe were fortunate in that, although we had not booked the patron prepared a table for our small group. However this is a popular restaurant so would book in advance if going again."

"Both the places that I had earmarked for dinner in Dinan were closed for holidays - so I wandered the streets in the old town looking for somewhere else but found nothing but uninteresting-looking touristy places. So back to my hotel for an early night when I saw this place next door. Going in I received a warm welcome to a civilised dining room; and the food on the fixed price menu turned out to be very good. Although meat-eaters are catered for this restaurant concentrates on fish. I opted for the day's special - La Nage de Poisson (literally the fish swim) - which turned out to be a sort of mixed fish stew in a thick crab sauce, accompanied by glazed vegetables. It needed a spoon as well as a knife and fork; and plenty of good bread to mop up - and was excellent. Local ham was OK; and creme brulee was good; and wine was available by the half-bottle; which is good for solo diners."

"This is one of my favourite restaurants in Dinan, partly due to the very friendly staff, and equally to the extensive menu covering galettes, omelettes and other meals. Consequently, it is very popular throughout the entire week. I ordered the Roulé Breton which comprised smoked salmon in a rolled galette – delicious and very filling. I finished the meal with an “Exotique” crêpe which was artistically presented, very light and extremely tasty. We returned the following day and I fancied something different to crêpes for the main course, so opted for the escalope volaille (chicken) followed by the crêperie St.Sauveur. The later was really delicious. Decide for yourself from the photos! If you are ever in Dinan you will not be disappointed with your selection at La Cour St.Sauveur. Highly recommended."

"Having never fared too well in this part of France when going off tge French/European route I wasn't setting my sights too high. However I needn't have worried it was lovely. I know reviews and experiences vary but I couldn't fault tge food. The beef with green peppers (asked for it spicy) was spot on and unlike the chewy beef I usually get at home, this meat was really tender. Sweet an sour king prawns were a hit with the kids and the chicken and pineapple was very tasty. Friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Only thing letting it down was a lack of any real atmosphere. However I would recommend and will happily return."

"visiting the dinan without going to your place is like. visit the bets without seeing the whistle tower! Thank you for this pleasant moment. The kitchen was perfect, ma'am, and the excellent welcome, sir! We loved that moment on your side! But that's not the case. do not say "your competitors in the street" but they still have a lot of work to provide to be your ankle! I was in a wheelchair. You offered us your help and I am very grateful!"

"formule midi affichée à l’extérieur mais une fois à l’intérieur , on ne vous la propose pas ,on vous présente la carte plus chère ...Donc , nous sommes restés sur notre position et nous avons commandé 3 formules midi ( galette +crêpes choco; ou caramel +cidre ) pour un prix ma foi intéressant.Le repas était bon mais ne buvez pas ce cidre DEGUEULASSE de la RANCE réservé pour les touristes. Cidre industriel façon sodastream+levure à éviter , j'ai été ballonné et eu des renvois toute la journée, prenez plutôt une bière vous n'aurez pas de mauvaises surprises !!!"

"My husband maintains that restaurants with a view often have below average food. How annoying that he was right in this case. I love moules marinieres but these were among the worst. Tiny little moules and served with no sauce. I pointed this out to the manager and she then sloshed some over- not cooked together the alcohol in the sauce had not cooked off at all. Service was also pretty poor. There must be many better restaurants in Dinan - do avoid this one despite the lovely view!"

"Located in a very popular and tourist area. Have a Sunday night. Many people and a service slows down accordingly. You shouldn't be in a hurry that night. Two smiling waitress. Pizzas are not bad, but the filling would be more important. The sauerkraut of the sea is good without being exceptional."

"Le meilleur restaurant de tout l'univers comme dirait ma fille. C'est un endroit exceptionnel je recommande fortement . L'accueil y est d'une rare amabilité . Et les plats mon dieu .. jai rarement goûté des plats aussi délicieux . Fan inconditionnelle de poulpe ..ce fut ici le meilleur que j'ai mangé. Il restera notre restaurant incontournable sur Dinan. "Un accueil et service sympathique, la restauration est quelconque, peu de sauce dans les moules frites mais beaucoup de jus de moule très salé et des frites sorties directes du marchand de congelé, somme toute annoncé sur la carte,trônant à côté de la liste des producteurs locaux, pour moi un véritable non sens...Un effort de présentation est fait sur les galettes mais des saveurs classiques.Les crêpes sont sympas et évités le café gourmand aucun intérêt au vu du prix et de la qualité des desserts."

"We ate here because we'd had almost two weeks of eating 'French food' and thought we'd opt for something different. The service was pretty good and the waitress spoke good English. Our food was good, I had tagliatelle carbonara and my husband had lasagne and the pasta was obviously fresh. As a nod to still being in France we had the cafe gourmand which was nice but every item seemed to have a caramel/toffee element that were too sweet for me but my husband enjoyed them.It was obviously a popular choice as it seemed to fill up fairly quickly and many of those diners were French which is usually a good sign. We would definitely eat there again if we were in Dinan as as well as the food being good it also seemed good value for money."

"Nous étions tombés sous le charme de ce petit restaurant il y a 4 ans et de retour à Dinan, nous y sommes retournés sans hésiter!Le temps ne nous a malheureusement pas permis de manger dehors mais la salle est cosy et très propre.Le personnel est toujours très sympathique, on y mange toujours aussi bien.Le seul bémol est l'augmentation phénoménale des prix. Le menu souris (galette complète, crêpe beurre sucre et verre de cidre) est passé en 4 ans de moins de 10 EUR à 14 EUR !!!Et sur une addition de 68 EUR pour 3 (un peu cher pour une crêperie), j'ai été déçue de me voir facturer 50 cents de supplément pour le sirop qui accompagnait mon verre d'eau. Alors que la veille, dans un resto où nous n'avions pris qu'un plat (31 EUR en tout), le sirop avait été offert. Ces 50 cents sont insignifiants mais ce n'est pas très commerçant.En résumé, qualité et service irréprochable. Rapport qualité-prix n'est plus du tout compétitif.Surtout que dans la rue principale (la magnifique ruelle qui descend vers la ville basse), les menus sont à 9 EUR (entrée, plat et boisson). La prochaine fois, nous irons donc là-bas."

"Ci affidiamo alle recensioni di un paio di guide e andiamo qui. Ristorante piccolino a gestione famigliare situato nel centro storico della città. Svetta su molti altri già per la mise en place decisamente elegante. D'altra parte i prezzi evidenziati nel menù apposto fuori dalla porta parlano chiaro, sono di un bel 30% superiori alla media.Ma stasera siamo alla ricerca di un posto così quindi entriamo.La padrona di casa ci accoglie con un benvenuto dalla cucina (mousse di peperoni.Ordiniamo un fois gras (molto buono - porzione piccolina per i 20€ richiesti) e una tartare di pesce marinato come antipasto.Per secondo prendiamo la bistecca da dividere. Carne buona e abbondante (58€) purtroppo un po' in la con la cottura (e meno male che l'avevamo chiesta al sangue).Buon Syrah ad accompagnare (40€) scelto tra una carta dei vini molto scarna.Insomma ottima cena che avrebbe potuto essere eccellente se la carne fosse stata cotta al punto giusto.Consigliato."

"We stayed in an apartment across the river and visited this restaurant twice. Both times we had crepes and drinks, and they were very good. One evening we also ordered the large charcuterie and cheese platter - it was far too much food for the two adults in our group. The ice cream is also good, as our children would attest. A bit of French is nice, although there are menus in English available as well. On very nice evenings the staff seems to bring out more and more tables and chairs so that there's room for everyone!"
