"I have had my fair share of breakfasts in my time, but this was up there with the best. After being up from 2:30am to travel from London to Dublin we were half asleep when we arrived. We wandered the streets looking for somewhere to eat and gosh did we find a cracker. The black pudding and sausages were one of the best I've ever had. The whole breakfast was immaculate and they were very accommodating to my girlfriend who asked to substitute a few things and they gave her extra of the things she liked without asking. Great please, if I ever return to Dublin I will for sure return here."

"I went to brunch at The Bath while visiting Dublin. I was staying with a couple of friends from Dublin, and they always talked about how much they love Irish breakfasts. I really wanted to try it, so my friends took me here! We all got the Bath Fry, which is an Irish breakfast. It had potatoes, tomatoes, sausage, black pudding, and more. Not being Irish, I was hesitant to try black pudding (it is a sausage made of blood and fat for other non-Irish folk). One of my friends insisted though, and it was actually really tasty! The atmosphere at The Bath was so adorable. They served cocktails in tea kettles, and plates had beautiful blue designs, and the outdoor seating area was lovely. I would definitely recommend brunch at The Bath!"

"My partner and I wanted to head in to town from South Dublin but hadn't booked anywhere. I gravitate toward Italian so did a quick check on Open Table and booked Rosa Madre having never been before and my partner and I loved it! The food and wine were great and reasonable for that part of Dublin. We were greeted by a really friendly guy in a cool black suit with some super out there trainers but he looked the business.. so Italian and stylish! Same for the rest of the staff though, really smart. We were seated upstairs and our waitress, who may well have been head, was excellent and in between giving us very attentive service was guiding and training a couple of newbies and did it so well without making them feel like the newbies. She fillited the sea bass in front of us but again it was so well done it just added to the great experience. Would happily recommend. We sat next to a family birthday and a lovely fuss was made with the birthday cake so I'd imagine this place would be great for a special occasion."

"Dreadful service, we were left waiting for an hour for our main course, even though I booked ahead and requested a romantic window view, a walk in arrived just ahead of us with no reservation and was given the only window seat left, and we were put way down the back bedside the kitchen, awful table. We had to keep trying to get attention from our server, would never return here and would never recommend."

"Consistently excellent! Lovely neighbour restaurant with superb food and service. They’ve also modified their restaurant appropriately to adhere to Covid restrictions and we felt very safe. "What a Beautiful Italian. Service was 10/10 from the second we arrived. Great host, very friendly and the waiting staff were very attentive. Food was absolutely amazing. The mixed meat and cheese board was so good and the ragu was defo a 10/10. No complaints at all. Will defo be back again."

"I went here for dinner for my birthday at the beginning of the month and while most of the food and cocktails were nice, I don't think it lives up to the hype around it.The service was good, however the food was very slow to arrive. Drinks were very quick and the waiting staff were straight over asking if we'd like another round the second we were finished however we waited a really long time for our food to come. When the food did come, it was nice but not amazing. The beef burger was good but the fries were very bland and the brisket on the ones we ordered was tough and chewy. The goujon starter with truffle and parmesan was the only thing that I thought was exceptionally good. For the price of the food I'd expect more refinement and flavour.The place was very loud, it was packed which was fine but it was the music that was too much. We were charged a service charge of for a table of four which I wasn't very happy about. The food and cocktails were already expensive so I don't understand the need for a further service charge on top of this, especially for a table of four. Overall, okay meal but I wouldn't rush back."

"The sushi was very nice (left spicy tuna) (right salmon rocket). The Ramen was good (top duck Ramen) (bottom spicy beef Ramen). The beef was much better as the broth from the duck was a bit bland. Also the beef broth was spicy as advertised. I would definitely eat here again"

"four of us ate here recently dinner and from the early bird menu. I can't remember what my friends ate at this distance! concerning me, I started with ham hock and higgins smoked pudding terrine with red kohl radish hazelnut dukkah. I...then I was on homemade ricotta and parmesan gnocchi, garryhinch mushrooms, poached egg and spinach for my main course. then, to finish, orange and nutmeg créme brulée. all three courses were presented beautifully and very tasty. a moustachioed greg was our very sociable waiter and we all enjoyed a beautiful evening. visit us!"

"We had a wonderful experience at the Ely Wine Bar in Dublin. It was a very special day as it was our last day in Ireland. Our attendants Gabriel and Carol made the most out of it for us. Gabriel gave us an excellent recommendation for wine and whiskey and Carol gave us the best recommendations how to celebrate our last day of the journey. The Ely Wine Bar is definitely the best Winebar we've ever been to an we would recommend it to everyone who likes good wine and excellent service. The personalized Service by Carol and Gabriel made us feel like we've been there a plenty of times. We were treated like part of the family and that's the greatest experience we've had on our whole journey. We're definitely gonna come back the next time. Thank you for the wonderful day!!!"

"Incredible meal! We had the shared tapas between ourselves which included patatas bravas, meatballs, piri piri prawns, hummus, garlic bread baby squid. I just came back from Barcelona and the smoked chili compares to the best tapas I’ve had in barca (a place called Vinitus) really good value too as we could brought our own bottle of Rioja. Beautiful evening for less than €40. Will definitely be back!"

"The only problem of this pub is one of the doorkeepers who works there. He is a very aggressive man, for me to step on an area where there was a broken glass that grabbed my arm, pulled me out, pushed me to scream that he wanted to throw me out. "this was our first return visit to millions of years since the lockdown, and we were quite disappointed. while eating was as good as ever, the service was very bad. I appreciate the fact that the Mother's Day can be very busy for restaurants, but the staff tonight obviously had difficulty getting any kind of decent service. While we got several excuses, this was really not prepared for the simplest insights – e.g. we had to wait a considerable time for our drinks, and when we were asked for more water, we were asked 15 minutes later by the employees if we want more water? and when I was just trying to break off our coffee order, as he took so long, it came up. in all those times when we visited the smilion, we have never had any problems, but tonight I will certainly reconsider a return visit."

Service was quick and polite and the food excellent. Everything tasted fresh and authentic flavours. The tempura batter particularly good. "my party of four went to maneki for the meal karaoke deal. the choice of food for this deal was limited, but the meals were all very good and fill. we also got a bowl of mistsuppe, which was a beautiful surprise! the staff was also very helpful in relation to the allergies of our companions. I really enjoyed the karaoke. there was a good selection of songs, although there were some popular artists like outkast missing, which was a little disappointing. the karaoke software is also a little tricky to navigate first, but they get used to it eventually. the size and mood of the karaoke room was good. Overall, I would recommend maneki for anyone who wants to try karaoke for the first time, especially if they wish a decent meal before."

"I ate at this place before and the food was good, so I decided today to dive with my friend for another meal. we found a free table outside and were both smokers (followed) we were happy to stay. the waitress was beginner and this is no problem at all, but there was a problem from the beginning with a wait of 30 minutes to order the food as we arrived between midday and evening meal and from any reason they can not order food orders up to 5:15 so fair enough. we decided not to eat anymore, but to have a coffee and a glass of wine and we were rejected because we couldn't have any alcohol without food, but hey we should wait 30 minutes to eat as we arrived at 4:40. 2 minutes after someone came out of the bar with a posture and told us that we did not have a glass wee without ordering foods, at least a part of fries, and “By the way, you can’t smoke that here!” we sat outside in the garden. Oh no, that's the law since when?! really?! what is this job miss?! first the story with the drink and after the vapore? no thanks! we decided to leave....not a nice setting from the first step in to the last step out....If you decide to treat the customers so, then I am not asking why the restaurant was empty on a sunny Saturday afternoon so."

"We would have got better value had we gone to wow burger. The floor staff ignored us multiple times. We ordered gyosas for starters and two mains. We got one of the mains and after waiting a good 10 minutes, while waiting for my partner's main and after being ignored by 2 different people, a lady who seemed to be in charge came over to see if everything was okay. I explained our order and asked her if she could place my food under the lamps to keep it warm while the other main arrived. She took my plate after apologising and went to the pass to check. The second main came over but not together with mine, the lady who broughtit drop the plate and threw some cutlery on the middle of the table and carried on. When the blond lady in charge was passing by, noticed I didn't get my food and went back to the pass for it. We didn't get the starters after we were almost finishing our mains. 5 burnt and cold gyosas. It was sad. We didn't even try to stay for dessert as we were already too disappointed. My first time trying this restaurant was December 2020 when restrictions were lifted and every place was short-staffed, I had the same experience with staff. It seems to be the standard. They all seem to be very disinterested and unapologetic. Some other customers in the tables around us had the same experience. Two young ladies ordered their food around the same time as we did. One of them got her main and after she had finished the other one only received hers. Kudos to the blond lady, she was the only one who truly engaged with us."
