"We went here for lunch after visiting Schloss Nymphenburg. There's a very Italian atmosphere: relaxing and enjoyable. The servers are very friendly and attentive. I had the Lasagna for lunch and my husband had Risotto. They were not called Risotto for nothing! The Risotto tastes amazing! The Lasagna was also very good. The servers were so nice they threw in an extra appetizer that came with the Lasagna for my husband. The only drawback is that even though it looked like a quiet neighborhood street "Hirschgartenalle", there were a lot of delivery trucks that passed by. Not the restaurant's fault, though. We still found the outside Terrace seating very lovely."

"Wir waren zu zweit da und waren in Summe sehr zufrieden. Als Vorspeise hatte ich eine Suppe mit Nudeln und Hühnerfleisch, die geschmacklich sehr gut und reichlich war. Als Hauptgericht dann 2 x Kalbfleisch, die 42 und die 23 (Spezialität des Lokals) beides auch geschmacklich sehr gut und große Portionen. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich, der Service ok und Preis Leistung für die Lage in Schwabing auch gut. Da muss man mal afghanisch gegessen haben, das ist sehr gut."

"Essen überwiegend sehr lecker, aber es gab sonntags um 7 schon recht vieles nicht mehr. Service sehr freundlich. Atmosphäre eher wie eine Bar, auch mit recht lauter Musik und insgesamt sehr entspannt. Als Entschädigung für die fehlenden Gerichte haben wir einen großen Nachtisch kostenlos bekommen. Dieser war auch richtig gut. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen und den Rest testen."

"We booked the bus for a corporate event while in Munich for a conference. At the last minute we had a large group RSVP that they were coming! Luckily they were able to provide us a second bus. We opted for the Italian meal. The busses picked us up at the Conference Center, and we proceeded to the first stop, the appetizer course. At each stop you can get off the bus if you would like and use the facilities at each restaurant. The waitress on board will make and deliver your beverages, including lovely cocktails. There was only one singer, so at each stop she switched busses, often times with a small crowd following her from one bus to the other. The entertainment was very good. The food itself was delicious. Caprese salad for an appetizer, and because I have celiac they were able to provide an alternate main course- shrimp scampi with roasted vegetables. Our vegetarians were also accommodated nicely. All in all it was a beautiful night, the entertainment was great, and the scenery (the City of Munich) was fantastic. It was a unique event at the conference and everyone had a great time."

"Meine Eindrücke sind etwas gemischt. Die lockere Begrüßung kamen sehr positiv an. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell. Gut fand ich auch, das viel zum Essen und Wein erzählt und erklärt wurde. Allerdings das sitzen auf der Holzbank spricht nicht für Gemütlichkeit. Auch habe ich mich vom Zauberberg beim Essen überraschen lassen, was auch mal eine andere Erfahrung war, als von der Karte zu wählen. Vom Essen selbst konnte mich das Restaurant leider nicht überzeugen. Es waren paar sehr gute Sachen dabei, aber es gab auch essen was versalzen war und mein Hauptgericht (veretarisch) war im ganzen ein zu trockenes Essen. Für mein Empfinden war das Preis Leistungspaket etwas zu hoch."

"I am absolutely thrilled! I ordered a mini cheesecake by mail. The cake came nicely packed with a nice message from one of the grandmothers and the recipe for the cake. "Ich bin richtig glücklich dieses Juwel entdeckt zu haben. War letzte Woche beruflich in der Gegend und nach dem ersten Besuch so begeistert, dass ich jeden Tag mittags dort war. Meistens war ich sogar allein und es ging richtig schnell. Bei der Qualität des Essens wärs mir aber auch egal wie lang es dauert. Am meisten habens mir die Suppennudeln mit großen Wan Tan angetan, mit eingelegten Eiern, die endlich mal nach Gewürzen schmecken. Die Gerichte sind sehr schlicht, aber die selbstgemachten Nudeln und Teigtaschen brauchen auch nicht viel mehr um zu überzeugen. Am Freitag hatte ich Andelong Knödel, kleine deftige saftig-gefüllte Dampfnudeln, (Hefeteig, müssen einen Tag vorher vorbestellt werden . Außergewöhnlich und Lecker! Und was macht das Essen so gut? Für mich, dass hier mit Herz gekocht wird (es gibt übrigens auch eine kleine Auswahl an Innereien an die ich mich noch nicht rangetraut habe ; . Ich fühl mich dort wie in der Küche meiner Oma, nur dass bei ihr die Dampfnudeln mit Vanillesoße waren."

"We went in for a quick glass of wine and fell in love with the weinbar! We loved it so much, we stopped back the next night. We were lucky enough to have the same server. Jenny was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgable about the wine. She recommended different tastings based on our description of what we like to drink in the States and expanded our horizons that we are now drinking wines from the same regions in Germany. If you stop, make sure to ask for Jenny!"

"I was taken here by some work colleagues on a recent business trip to Munich. We received a very warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. The restaurant was very busy for a Tuesday night which is always a good sign.The menu choice is huge. We ordered a variety of starters all of which was very tasty indeed. My main meal was a usual choice for me, but have to say I was very impressed with the quality, and size of the portion. I like my rice, and was pleasantly surprised when they automatically serve you rice rather than order it from the menu. During the meal they ask if you want more rice so this was very good. Everything was delicious.Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and atmosphere in this restaurant. Would definitely return here and wish this was near me in the UK!."

"The worst was the prawn soup,we ordered 2 and the prawn inside were stuck together as an iceberg and we had to take them of the bowl , cut them and put them back inside.Disappointing!!! Also the other dishes (tika masala ,chicken korma and salads...and appetizers) were a low quality. The service was ok,a little bit slow but ok .And about the bill ,it costed 23€each for less things that we took in another and were so delicious . I will not try to the same place again."

"were coming back from Bamberg and on the train were trying to figure out when and where to eat. Found this on a search of TA for restaurants around the hauptbahnhof/Hackebrucke. There are 2 of these within a few blocks; we picked this one as...it seemed a bit more casual and saw the other as we were walking home. Either looks good. Really liked the interior here. Had probably the best salad during the entire trip and an excellent small thin crust pizza, very simple (margherita style, just cheese and tomato sauce), a couple beers. Typically slow but friendly European service. Wish we coulda gone back."
