"This restaurant is staffed by very polite and friendly servers, who speak English. It is located on a pedestrian street so parking would have to be elsewhere. If you sit outside, there is lots of action watching the passersby. The interiors are very nicely decorated. We had the set menu (CHF 42. /person) which included appetizers, different kinds of naan bread (which you can reorder as needed), four set main dishes, and one galub jamun. The total quantity was actually too much for all of us and we would instead recommend ordering individual dishes and then sharing them if you like trying different things. Particularly good were the shrimp in a sweet sauce and the tikki salmon. There was a long wait between the appetizers and the main course, and the food in the main course could have been served hotter."

"Wenn man ein bisschen speist, bekommt man ein Gefühl dafür, was wirklich gut ist und was in jedem Fall besser sein sollte.Zu Beginn des Abends werden Sie von Kellnern begrüßt, die sofort einen Champagnerkarren ausfahren. Die Auswahl ist zu verlockend und wie kann man Nein sagen? Man kann aus einem Degustationsmenü mit vier oder fünf Gängen wählen oder à la carte gehen.Das Essen ist gut, aber leider nicht so toll. Das Management sollte sich genau ansehen, was eine großartige, inspirierte Küche wirklich ist. Das Restaurant O 'Terroirs ist überteuert."

"Wir sind an einem Freitagabend ohne Reservation hier her gekommen. Trotz ziemlich vollem Haus konnte der Chef für uns einen 2er-Tisch frei machen. Die Aussicht war fantastisch, See und Sonnenuntergang, gemischt mit vielen Wolken. Die Karte enthält hauptsächlich Tartar. Meine Freundin hatte das Tatar des Monats, welches Gemüse, viel Fleisch und Gin beinhaltete. Ich habe einen Burger genommen, mit einheimischen Würsten, seeehr gutem Fleisch und Zwiebeln...Die Bedienung ist äusserst selbstbewusst (aber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend) und nicht allzu schnell. Wobei wir das als „Entschleunigung“ sahen. Man genisst die aussergewöhnliche Lage... Und das Essen? Einfach wunderbar!! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder hierher kommen. Und Reisender, komme er nach Neuchâtel, gehe er hier Essen..."

"Nachdem die Restaurants ja 2 Monate und mehr geschlossen haben mussten, haben wir beim Besuch in diesem Haus eine angenehme Atmosphäre erwartet. Weit gefehlt, so eine Bedienung und Arroganz haben wir def. noch nie erlebt. Wir waren 4 Personen, wobei eine Person gerade aus dem Krankenhaus, nach einer Gallenoperation, gekommen ist. Dass diese Person ja nicht zwingend die schwere Kost eines 3 Gang-Menüs essen wollte oder konnte war doch verständlich. Nicht aber für den Chef des Hauses! Unsere Philosophie lautet, 4 Personen 1 Menü, basta! Das Menü kostete immerhin CHF 110.00 ohne Getränke wohlverstanden. Wie schon in anderen Bewertungen festgestellt: Trüffel, ist nicht jedermanns Gusto, auch meiner nicht. Beinahe wären wir auch aufgestanden und gegangen, wir sind aber geblieben, das uns begleitete Paar hatte sogar noch die Nacht in diesem Hause verbracht. Weiter über dieses Haus zu schreiben erübrigt sich, es sind noch Dinge vorgefallen, die hier besser nicht beschrieben werden. Eher esse ich einen Apfel bevor ich noch einmal dieses Haus betrete."

"Service war nett und zuvorkommend. Als etwas mehr Leute dort waren, wurden die Wartezeiten dann doch etwas lang und hektisch. Das Entrecôte mit der „Joran“ Sauce war lecker und das Fleisch gut gebraten. Der warme Ziegenkäse Salat war aber mit CHF 25 einfach viel zu teuer. War es nicht wert."

"This nicely renovated hotel has a lovely restaurant spacious, wooden floor, with a lovely view to the nearby Lac de Neuchatel. The menus were unfortunately only in French but the waiter gave us an idea of the words we didn't know. Reasonable choice of...starters, mains and desserts, with local produce (fish and meats) represented. For the main course the boar (le sanglier) was delicious extremely tender and in a delicious plum sauce and accompanied by spiced plums and polenta. Steak tartare was also great. So based on those two items I'd imagine the rest of the items on the menu were similarly good. Service was prompt. Wine list was reasonable but not extensive. The kitchens close at 9.30pm beware! The price was OK for Switzerland i.e. more expensive than UK, but it was worth paying for!"

"Ce restaurant est située dans une petite ruelle qui en vaut le détour. Les patrons sont souriants et professionnels. Les sushis quant à eux, sont délicieux! Le prix est très abordable, la qualité est présente, le poisson est frais et la présentation est bien ! Il y a une réduction de 10% (me semble il) lorsque vous prenez le plat à l'emporter (sûrement car la salle à manger est relativement petite !) et il y a également un rabais pour les étudiants. Il faut prévoir 50.- si vous voulez vous faire plaisir (entrée-plat-dessert) Je compte y retourner bientôt !"

"The food was barely mediocre. Sushi was edible, but not great. We also had the beef tataki and it was cut into very thick pieces, overcooked and chewy :(It was quite expensive for bad quality.We usually don’t mind spending when eating out, but this restaurant was not worth it.The outside seating area looks like a dump and doesn’t create a nice atmosphere at all. The waitress was very friendly."

"Would recommend. We had the plat du jour, potage du ravioli and the ginger prawns. My husband had the soup and beef dish. Everything was excellent, food was beautifully presented, service was very efficient and quick even though the restaurant was quite busy. Good value for money. We will be back to try another plat du jour on another day."

"My boyfriend and his family used to come and have brunch at the palafitte because we always found the setting and the food great. So I wanted to introduce the experience to two of my friends this Sunday. I admit that I left very disappointed, both in terms of the choice of food and the price… 95fr for a brunch with such a limited choice surprised me enormously. For an additional 10fr, we can have an incredible experience at the Montreux Palace for example with an extremely wide choice of dishes. I'm not in the habit of giving negative feedback or negative comments on Google but I don't think we'll come back and I don't think I'll recommend such an expensive brunch with such a poor choice around me."

"Very nice ambiance, starting from the decor to the friendly staff and the fact that the restaurant is almost always full even on a Tuesday night. Make sure to call them before going there to guarantee a table and since they seem to have a...pair/impair rule (they told me that they accept only pair numbers on specific days). They serve typical French and Swiss food and a great cheese fondu during the winter with several dessert and wine/beer options. The location is also very convenient as it's on the main restaurants and shops street of Neuchâtel, close to the tourists attractions and very close to the bus station (take the 107/109 (direction Place Pury) to Neuchâtel,Terreaux Muséum or Neuchâtel, Neuchâtel Place Pury then walk for a maximum of 3 minutes to the restaurant"

"Wir waren 7 Personen hier zu Abendessen . Das Fleisch war sehr gut doch der Pasta Teller „Linguine mit Black Tiger“ war leider nicht so wie es auf der Menukarte beschrieben ist. Es waren keine Black Tiger, sondern kleine Crevetten und auch die Sauce war mit Rahm und Tomaten statt wie im Menu beschrieben, mit Zitronensauce und Kräuter. Auch waren es Spaghetti statt Linguine und so durchgekocht, das die Spaghetti alle bereits zerbrochen waren. Als wir es am Kellner mehrmals meldeten, kam keine Entschuldigung seinerseits und es gab auch keinen Preisnachlass (CHF 39. ist ein stolzer Preis für kleine Crevetten mit Rahmsauce! Es kam allgemein kein engegenkommen, nicht einmal der Kaffee oder sonst was wurde offeriert, was wir sehr schade fanden. Denn wir haben als Gruppe sehr viel bestellt, das wäre das Mindeste gewesen was der Kellner machen konnte um es wieder gut zu machen."

"We went there on a Sunday morning for the brunch. The food is good and there is enough too eat in the plate ; nevertheless brunch are often huge portion ; not the case here. We regret that only one drink (coffee or teat or juice or... is included. Furthermore, our drinks were served directly so once the food got here, we were either done with the drink or they were cold. the staff is nice and the room pleasant."
