"We would not have found this place if not for seeing it on trip advisor. The entrance is down an side road and not that obvious. The restaurant is down some steps in the basement of a large building. It feels like your sitting in...some medieval castle with huge stone pillars and old wooden beams. The restaurant was busy, but the majority of the patrons were locals. The staff were friendly but didn't speak much English but we managed with the help of one English menu. Three of us had scallops with chorizo to start and one had a local cold meat selection, all very tasty. For mains one of had duck another had a meat stew of some kind and two of us had THE burger. the burger was the best burger both of us have ever had!!! It came with sweet potato fries which themselves were heavenly. The burger was in an onion bread roll with crispy bacon, cheese and barbecue sauce. It was like no burger I've had before. Once you buy into the meat has a pink colour but not because it was undercooked. I can only assume it's something to do with the way they prepare the burger. The whole thing melted in your mouth and the flavoured all worked so well. We both agreed it was well worth the €20.80 it costs. I'm pretty sure the other guys enjoyed their mains but I was too busy enjoying my burger to notice really. For desert I had the chocolate mousse which again was very tasty. You could taste the bitter chocolate and it was lovely and smooth. All in all a cracking restaurant GO FOR THE BURGER!!!"

"in general: after I was almost finished with the evaluation and then accidentally everything was deleted, I will learn now and write it first in word. so my friend and I were yesterday, Saturday, 24.01.2015 at shangri la in regensburg. we have reserved for the evening and have a table for 2 persons from 18 o'clock to 20 o'clock. at the beginning I was offered the time of 18 o'clock until 19:30 o'clock. then the extension was kindly followed. it is recommended to book at the weekend. otherwise they are pushed through. I mean, you have to eat a bit of trouble and quickly, otherwise you have only 1 hour because you are reserved for it. my friend and I were more often there and we are happy to go because the selection of self-assessment and because they can try something new. we do not eat from the buffet to taste, but to enjoy. service: the service I loved meant 3 stars of 5 given why? I'll tell you now. we were kindly received and then led to our table. our drinks were ordered and the drinks were there within the next 5 minutes. Unfortunately, there was no further demand after that, whether we still want to drink. we had to give up the service. Even if he was there to pick up the teller from the table, he was so hectic that he could hardly speak to him. And this hectic was unfortunately there at any service that made me a little restless and that I really found very bad. otherwise they were always friendly, despite the hectic and the stress. cleanliness: the cleanliness I gave only 3 stars. some would certainly consider this too hard, but I think it is appropriate. the dining room was brightly tidy and clean. I liked it very well. they were also clamped (I declare when I ate for what they are no longer glued. with previous visit much of the unpleasant. but that was released. to my satisfaction. unfortunately the toilets were not in order. I want them to see how much happens during the operation. it was soap in front of the wash basin (they could have slipped out, sanitary was everywhere down, the one was empty, which one was not right and on a toilet missing sanitary. I felt it as unhygienic and what in the evening just this time on the toilet. but as I said, otherwise everything was clean and tidy. Eat: the shangri la offers a Chinese and Mongolian buffet in the evening, each built in the middle. on one side is the Chinese buffet. are already finished and in warm boxes: queue, ugly, sweet, rice, pasta etc. and on the other side there is the Mongolian buffet/grill. a rich selection of meat (e.g. henne, kinn, etc., fish (hai, garnel, mosquitoes, carcinogens, etc., vegetables and sauces. for that they need the jamming from the table. the one is then clamped onto a plate and covered with the just mentioned and then placed on the grill. the finished teller is then put on the table. also there is a small salad selection, a top selection, sushi and ice. my friend and I name both the evening buffet. we ordered the drinks: 2 cocacola 0.4l and a green tea (he came into a small dose with cup. after that we went. put together a dish from the Mongolian grill. I took fish first. 6 flow cancers, 2 salmon and an undefined fish, unfortunately the signs were somewhat confused, then I took some spruten, sugar and champignons. I took a sweet, sharp sauce and put it on the grill, because there were many more tellers, we knew it would take a bit. when we started with the Beijing soup and a crab chip. the Beijing soup was warm, right. the suppe tasted, sour sharp as she should be. meat, seasoned and sweet were included. we both tasted good. after that there was an intermediate meal for us. my friend took some of the Chinese buffet. I have sushi. some maki roll filled with gurke, salmon and rucola and I wear them with something soy sauce. I liked it. the röllchen well held together and one tasted both the alge around, as the rice and the content. on my teller was a little cauliflower, not mine, but my friend. That wasn't so bad for me now. this is generally not so optimal. after that we could have 2 more cocacola 0.4l and we drove back to grill and make ourselves a small dish again. I took 2 small brain parts and a small piece of chicken, then a few spits and 4 sugar dishes. then I took the thai curry sauce. I already knew that this was very sharp for me (for my friend not at all, but they had such a delicious, sweetly sharp taste. it tasted delicious again later. I took a piece of melon and wept. then we drank two coffees. they were also very tasty. only my friend envyed it that he could touch the mug only on the outside, as the **** was probably made for very slim finger, not even my little finger fits in and he did not want to touch the hot mug. all in all it was good with air up. the signs should be clear and in the sauces should be given vllt how sharp they are, as well as general information. we're coming back. ambiente: everyone knows this typical furnishing style of Chinese restaurants. what it looks like. they come in, there are aquaria, a lot brown, decomals and a large hall that are divided into small seats. we sat in one this time and it was cozy and not too close to the other tables. concept suitable for ambiente. Price/performance: we paid a total of 49,10€. 4x2,80 cocacola 0.4l 11,20€ 2x2,30 coffee 4,60€ 1x green tea 2,30€ 2x 15,50 dinner buffet 31,00€ a few years ago the evening buffet costs 13.80€, but I also find the new price complete in order. and also the other prices are ok. there is nothing to do. full impression: it was a cozy and beautiful evening. it was a lot of hectic, but we could make another quiet evening. If now much is switched off, like the operation of running dirty toilets, the correct feeding of the food, then we would come back with even more enthusiasm. we tasted it and we had a nice evening. we're coming back."
