"Jeder Regensburger muss mindestens einmal hier gegessen haben. Das kleine Restaurant besteht aus ca 6-7 Tischen im Innenbereich und 3 Tischen auf der Straße. Das Gericht kann aus Nudeln/Reis, der jeweiligen Sauce und Fleisch/Fisch zusammengestellt werden. Auch Suppen oder fertige Mittagsmenüs stehen zur Auswahl. Das Essen wird innerhalb von 5 min zubereitet und an deinen Platz gebracht. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und man hat anschließend - trotz der doch recht großen Portion - kein Vollegefühl, wie es bei anderen Mahlspeisen meist der Fall ist. Ich empfehle das kleine Restaurant sehr. Auch wenn man mal keinen Platz findet, kann man das Essen mitnehmen und an der nahegelegenen Donau oder am Kohlmarkt genießen.Preis: Für zwei Essen mit Getränken haben wir unter 20 € gezahlt, was für die Qualität wirklich top ist"

"Zum ersten Mal hier zum Essen: es gab hausgemacht Nudeln mit einer heftig-mächtigen Pesto Soße und eine Portion Artischocken (als Artischoken auf der Karte). Dazu zwei Saftschorlen.Also: das Ambiente ist ganz nett, aber für den Uni-Campus nicht so recht passend.Das Essen: solche Nudeln bitte nicht nochmal, das war alles andere als gut. Zu den Artischocken kann ich nichts sagen, die habe ich nicht probiert.Übel: wir waren ins Gespräch vertieft und daher habe ich erst jetzt mal schnell überschlagen, was das Essen hätte kosten dürfen: etwas über 20 Euro. Der Kellner wollte 27 Euro haben und hat noch Trinkgeld bekommen. Ok, mein Fehler? Naja, der Fehler war eher, hier zu essen. Wenn große Hektik gewesen wäre, hätte ich eventuell Verständnis, aber es war wenig los, und dann sollte so etwas nicht passieren. Schade, aber der alte Betreiber war einfach besser und zwar in jeder Hinsicht.ACHTUNG: unbedingt die Rechnung kontrollieren!"

"I would really like to give this 2 1/2 stars. I guess the thing that kind of set me off was when I handed the wait person my “American” credit card and she told me that her machine only read German. Really??? Anyway, my wife...and I had the marinated lamb kabobs. The lamb was quite tasty, the bugler was instant burger, the bread was nothing to write home about, the yogurt sauce was just plain yogurt. Would I go back again? No. So I recommend this place to you? No. But if you go, bring your German credi card."

"I was there with my fiancé and ordered a cappuccino that was totally horrible. When I informed the owner on the not drinkable coffee, even added lots of sugar that didn’t make it better, he got furious, telling me about all the great reviews he...got in the past. Not a single word that could have been seen as an apology or anything alike. No. Just words of how bad my taste must be (that day but also in general) that I didn’t like his cappuccino. We also had a piece of cake each, and wanted to use a voucher. We got the impression that prices for cakes are higher with voucher than they are without having a voucher. He also doesn’t show prices for the different cakes, only tells them roughly when explicitly asking for them. The pieces for those with vouchers also tend to be smaller than those for regular guests. To clarify a little more: the visit mentioned was our third visit to Café Jolie, and during all the visits we noticed the same things smaller pieces of cake when presenting a voucher and weird, unclear pricing. It was the first time the coffee was horrible. For us the last time we went there. I do not recommend this location. There are better cafés in Regensburg that also offer better cakes."

"my rating is valid for the gasthof hero, yesterday was with a colleague in front of location, gasthof and hotel not just make a pompous impression, much asphalt in front of the object, parking spaces available. they have entered the gas house when they find very fast here is not a cheap village descending special a very nicely furnished gas house. the service (2 young ladies) very friendly, friendly and fast. there is a map with different daily arrangements and also a general map. I have a half unveiled with two small müllknödeln and blue crimson extra and half a beer very good. size of the dishes for me perfect, prei performance also. how I got a lot of employees from the bmw to business. the first time, but certainly not the last time. "Someone recommended this restaurant to me, and I took our whole group there. Not easy to find, rather hidden deep in the courtyard, with no sign easily visible outside there is one within the arcade. They have an open eating area outside and inside. A...little medieval themed, not bad. Every thing else is modern. Our group had a variety of meals; our ribs were just excellent and plentiful, with a wonderful sauce, salad, and bread baked there. The dish with sausages was also delicious. Mostly, however, they have the flammkuchen, a kind of flat pizza with a range of a bit weird herbs. Not everyone liked them. They played some medieval music in the background; bathrooms have medieval names a bit incorrect; I am a medievalist and know. Service was fast and friendly, prices very modest considering the amount of food. The 'medieval' beers and meads were quite good"

"We all have a dream to discover a real restaurant, a mixture of ambiance that is neither fake nor contrived, food that captures the essence of its source, staff that are friendly and personable and not like trained dogs, a chef that either owns the...restaurant or its his/her responsibility for consistency and art and a menu that invigorates you and shows fresh ideas or classics with something extra. So it was with a welcome surprise that while in Regensburg recently I was recommended by TA to try Federico Secondo a wonderful name that is itself a true bridge between Germany and Italy and more importantly the Italy of Puglia and Sicily. Like Frederick II, this restaurant appreciates the arts and the art of cooking. With a small kitchen that expands into the dining room proper where the assistant makes the fresh pasta, the chef is right there, working in front of you. Its his restaurant. Only after we ate, did I appreciate that all of the pastas (and I suspect the bread) is made freshly as I then proceeded to watch a wonderful display of the dough being kneaded and then pressed through a wire mesh to make No. spaghetti. I had fish fillets cooked in lemon, basil and with capers, my daughters had various pastas including sage flavoured ravioli, The single waitress looked after all of the guests some of which were regulars and who chatted with her. I read the German reviews and they were all favourable but for non-German speakers I wanted to also support their positive impressions and clearly recommend a detour to Regensburg and this small trattoria with its faded photos of Puglia, the chef and his awards and of course Federico Secondo overseeing it all."

"Da wir immer mal wieder gerne vegan essen gehen, wollten wir auch mal das Dada in Regensburg ausprobieren, leider wurden wir etwas enttäuscht. Das Essen ist sehr mächtig, vieles wird frittiert. Der Salat war in Dressing getränkt. Die Vorspeisen, Bruscetta und eine Thaisuppe, waren lecker. Der Burger war in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes. Der Service war etwas durcheinander, wir wurden von drei Bedienungen nach unserer Bestellung gefragt und das in einem Abstand von 3 Minuten. Die Atmosphäre ist studentisch und locker, das hat uns gefallen. Alles in allem verbesserungsfähig."

"Hier findet sich noch ein richtiger Italiener mit selbstgemachten Pasta zu super Preisen. Es gibt eine Tageskarte mit meist 3 Gerichten und zusätzlich eine Karte, auf der verschiedene Pasta (auch Ravioli und Gnocchi) angeboten werden.Die meisten Gerichte kosten unter 10€ und sind wirklich wirklich lecker. Der ausgeschenkte Wein ist allerdings nicht so der Burner, also lieber ans Wasser halten :)Der Service ist freundlich und schnell. Und zum Sitzen ist es hier sehr gemütlich, wenns auch leider keine Tische im Freien gibt. Aber man sitzt überall in Fensternähe, also ist das schon ok!Und wenns dann gut geschmeckt hat, kann man sich gleich noch frische Pasta für daheim mitnehmen! Absolut empfehlenswert!"

"We would not have found this place if not for seeing it on trip advisor. The entrance is down an side road and not that obvious. The restaurant is down some steps in the basement of a large building. It feels like your sitting in some medieval castle with huge stone pillars and old wooden beams.The restaurant was busy, but the majority of the patrons were locals. The staff were friendly but didn't speak much English but we managed with the help of one English menu.Three of us had scallops with chorizo to start and one had a local cold meat selection, all very tasty.For mains one of had duck another had a meat stew of some kind and two of us had THE burger. the burger was the best burger both of us have ever had!!! It came with sweet potato fries which themselves were heavenly.The burger was in an onion bread roll with crispy bacon, cheese and barbecue sauce.It was like no burger I've had before. Once you buy into the meat has a pink colour but not because it was undercooked. I can only assume it's something to do with the way they prepare the burger. The whole thing melted in your mouth and the flavoured all worked so well. We both agreed it was well worth the €20.80 it costs.I'm pretty sure the other guys enjoyed their mains but I was too busy enjoying my burger to notice really.For desert I had the chocolate mousse which again was very tasty. You could taste the bitter chocolate and it was lovely and smooth.All in all a cracking restaurant GO FOR THE BURGER!!!"

Die Räumlichkeit ist ist etwas eng, wenn alle Plätze besetzt sind ist der Geräuschpegel extrem hoch."

"Wir bestellten 4 Pizzas di Mare, die Pizzas schwammen in übermäßig viel Tomatensaft, als sie ankamen. Als wir es den Kellnern erzählten, machten sie sich über uns lustig und meinten, es sei „zu viel Soße“ da. Es handelt sich um einen dünnen, wässrigen Teig, der in der Mitte nicht durchgebacken ist, da zu viel Soße darin enthalten ist. Aus diesem Grund konnten wir die Pizza nicht essen. Schließlich erklärten wir die Situation noch einmal und sie wollten uns Kaffee anbieten : , aber wir lehnten ab, weil wir hungrig waren."

"I started studying in Regensburg last year and has been in the open space with some friends since then and we are always thrilled! Breakfast is sensational and at a very reasonable price for students! Included in the price is a hot drink by choice and a bread basket served with breakfast. The bread tastes super fresh and is also warm when you get up early enough. I usually decide for the free-space classic, made from different types of sausage and cheese, fresh cheese, jam, fruit and... The other breakfasts also look more and more than one class (can I try). So there is a prosecco to the house when you have to wait until a table becomes free! In addition to breakfast, the outdoor area also has a super large selection of cocktails and beers that you don't get so often (many beers from the Regensburger room and for example cocktails with basil or ginger pineapple!!! The free space is really worth every visit, whether in the morning or in the evening! My favorite café :"

My friend payed for me and then realized that they did charge euros instead of When we asked them they told us that one...of the toppings costed euros.
