"We would not have found this place if not for seeing it on trip advisor. The entrance is down an side road and not that obvious. The restaurant is down some steps in the basement of a large building. It feels like your sitting in some medieval castle with huge stone pillars and old wooden beams.The restaurant was busy, but the majority of the patrons were locals. The staff were friendly but didn't speak much English but we managed with the help of one English menu.Three of us had scallops with chorizo to start and one had a local cold meat selection, all very tasty.For mains one of had duck another had a meat stew of some kind and two of us had THE burger. the burger was the best burger both of us have ever had!!! It came with sweet potato fries which themselves were heavenly.The burger was in an onion bread roll with crispy bacon, cheese and barbecue sauce.It was like no burger I've had before. Once you buy into the meat has a pink colour but not because it was undercooked. I can only assume it's something to do with the way they prepare the burger. The whole thing melted in your mouth and the flavoured all worked so well. We both agreed it was well worth the €20.80 it costs.I'm pretty sure the other guys enjoyed their mains but I was too busy enjoying my burger to notice really.For desert I had the chocolate mousse which again was very tasty. You could taste the bitter chocolate and it was lovely and smooth.All in all a cracking restaurant GO FOR THE BURGER!!!"

"Short trip to Regensburg and lunch was announced. It is already planned in advance that we want to return here. Were always satisfied and had to find out since the last portal we haven't written anything yet. In the old town of Regensburg, if you walk in the Rote Hahnen alley at the Haidplatz near the well, you will be there after a few steps. On Saturday and Sunday there are warm kitchens from 11 am. But then it became very fast full, for safety we would recommend the booking. At the entrance there are 4 steps, the toilets are flattering, but are a little cramped. We couldn't see our own parking spaces, what exactly everything we care about parking nearby. Service We were kindly greeted and allowed to choose a table that had no reserved sign. The ladies here in the service wear costume and help together. The cards were handed over and asked if we would like to order drinks or look first. We ordered the same and they were delivered quickly with one, please nice and probably desired. The food was taken up and we didn't have to wait long. They were served at the same time by a gentleman who kindly greeted us, asked who gets what and wanted to taste us. The lady also wished us a good appetite and wondered if she tasted us. The empty plates were immediately noticed, asking if it tastes and if everything still fits. In the empty glass she meant if there was something else and we shared that we wanted to pay. This happened quickly, she thanked and wished us a nice weekend. We were very friendly at leaving. Very nice, friendly and attentive, very happy 5 stars. Goats You can also find an extract from the menu on HP, but without prices. Here there is a brown card with clear envelopes, but not as cheap as some brewery cards are. We had two dark wheat at 3,90 € each, the Gravenreuthers crust with dark beer sauce, two types of dumplings and acidic spice for 10,90 € here you can choose between acidic spice, herbal salad or garnish salad and the Münchner Schnitzel with potato cucumber salad horse and sweet Hendlmaiers. 13,90 The crust was super crispy and crunchy. It was a proper rider who came through the mustard, but not too much. Among the carvings was the potato cucumber salad. This self-made, easily parked with a light acid note and also here it tasted. The cucumbers were freshly carved into slices and mixed with them. They were also allowed to go through something in salad. There was some salad decoration with a little yellow puffs and radii. Here also the forest fairy of Decosalat has a dress, hat off. This was slightly spoiled, beautifully balanced and is stored for a return visit with salad plate. There were two lemon slices that were not needed. Usually servings for the price and super tasty too. There was nothing to complain about, like again. Five stars. Ambiente A Bavarian guest house as we would like. There are benches and chairs in the front area. The chairs of darker wood. The tables with bright wood. A few seat cushions are present, you should get more, on the chairs and the wooden bench it sits more comfortably. In this area, the gift goes to the toilets. In the front room there are larger tables, so someone is already sitting for one. Through a large arc you enter an additional area, here there are several smaller tables and chairs. On the tables is a green white plaid cloth. There is a jug with cutlery and napkins, a pepper mill with integrated salt shaker, a glass with believe it was a tealight and a wood heart with a dry grass inside. Looks like we're stupid. We would like a fresh flower In the background a discrete antenna Bavaria ran.
