"Incredibly delicious food! In addition to a very good sangria, we had the avocado shrimp tartare and the mussels, both a taste explosion. "As part of my Andalusian cycle tour we always stop here for dinner as the food is made with love and full of flavour. It is amazing how similar ingredients to the Spanish kitchen upgraded with herbs and spices can take you back to the Moorish times. The fruit and veggie juices are as good as the food... Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian it is hard to find places like this where they can easily adapt, because they make it all fresh on the spot... also very good for vegans here"

"El Restaurante Casa María está ubicado en un lugar ideal y cuenta con una agradable terraza sobre el arroyo Endrinales que bordeando el recinto se funde a escasos metros con el arroyo de Las Hoyas para dar origen al nacimiento del río Madera. Isabel, la anfitriona y propietaria del establecimiento nos obsequió al grupo de amigos que participamos en el almuerzo con un recital gastronómico basado en la cocina tradicional albaceteña compuesto por atascaburras, ajo pringue, migas, careta de cerdo, gazpacho manchego, judías con perdiz, huevos agarraos (que ideara su madre),venado en salsa y diferentes postres. Todo muy rico y bien preparado por la estupenda cocinera que la acompaña en los fogones. "Everything Harry says in his review is largely on the money: And don 't just take his and my word for it: This restaurant has about 800 ! reviews on Tripadvisor, almost all of them hugely positive. Who knows why Yelpers have stayed away, except that they 're apparently ig 'nant? Tropicana is off the beaten tourist path, it offers excellent value for your euro, and the service was phenomenal. The restaurant 's in a storefront in about a mile down the Ave. Málaga from the Plaza de España area, in a modern residential area, so it is somewhat out of the way for tourists. For us, getting there was a pleasant 20-minute walk on a beautiful evening. It 's been quite awhile since we there, but I do remember that the food was excellent, expertly prepared and creative. We shared a perfectly crispy fried spring roll of sorts filled with robustly-flavored braised oxtail that was seriously delicious , wonderful marinated anchovies, and morcilla served over nicely fried potatoes and topped with a poached egg, and a pickled padrón? pepper onions. For an entree, I had an octopus arm that was about as big as a baby 's forearm and that sold for only 16 euro great value! ; can 't really remember the accompaniments there, but the cephalopod was very nicely grilled. All of this stuff was terrific and robustly flavorful. My only complaint--and maybe part of the blame should be attributed to our ordering--was that everything was cumulative extremely rich--very heavy, with some items doused with perhaps a bit too much olive oil. Our server, who was the son of the chef, was as good as he could be. He spoke superb English didn 't even give us a chance to work on our Spanish, which had improved a bit by this late point in the trip! , took pains to guide us through the menu, and was just great all-around at his job. Decor-and-ambience wise, Tropicana is a bit of a puzzle. Obviously, the name suggests a Latin-American vibe, and aqua-ish color scheme, smooth surfaces, and clean-lines did, too. It almost seems like a Miami -themed restaurant, but then the food seems much more Spanish/European. Either way, it 's comfortable and sharp-looking enough."

"This meal was one of the very best that I've had in Spain. We got the boquarones to start which were great. The real stand out of the meal were the next two dishes: fried egg, truffle and jamon omg. This was unreal. The flavor was phenomenal and I didn't want it to end. I almost licked the plate it was that good. We also got the octopus which was amazing. This was seriously some of the best octopus I've ever had in my life and in the mountains of Spain! I would never have guessed it. The last dish was the pork cheek which was so flavorful and tender. We also got the fried custard rolls which were fantastic. Overall amazing meal and definitely one that I will remember! Highly highly recommend."

"Out of series. The entire menu is typical dishes with a signature feel and it is a shame not to be able to try everything. In the kitchen they have perfected the art of textures, everything is at its creamy or tender point. The croquettes are essential, one of the best in Spain. As an extra, fast and correct service. "This restaurant more than lived up to all our expectations, from the warm welcome at the door to the perfect view from our table for lunch. The menu was incredibly varied and tempting and we were delighted with all our dishes. The starters were so ample I was worried we had over ordered but the main courses were not excessive which made for a perfect balance. I can highly recommend the duo of croquetas and the millefeuille starter as well as the turbot and oxtail main as particularly outstanding. All in all a perfect lunch!"

"As a frequent visitor to Ronda we had never tried this restaurant as it’s usually very busy mainly with locals which that in itself is a good sign. We had the iberian ham and a selection of cheese as starters and both were excellent and well presented.We ordered the clams with hesitation as fresh clams are not easy to obtain inland and a lot of restaurants tend to use frozen ones……these were fresh and beautifully cooked in a lovely wine sauce……we had a few chorizo tapas and the iberian pork fillets for mainly. All cooked to perfection…..super helpful and charismatic staff,great sense of humour and willingness to make the dining experience extra special…..highly recommended!"

The harira was very rich and the cheese crêpe too. the price is fine; two beers, a coke and a summer red plus harira, crêpe and a cous cous for two were 33€. for putting a but, the place is a little small and the tables something small to have several dishes to share."

"my partner and I had dinner there last night, we called the desperate because we found no place where he could dine (it is celiac) despite them wanting to close prontito for being Sunday, they waited for dinner, when they arrived they treated us in a close and familiar way without leaving aside professionalism. We asked for two cups of wine, delicious, offered us the options out of letter, we chose boletus cream and chestnuts, we still dreamed of how good it was, while we waited they offered us bread of the earth with oil, the surprise was when they pulled homemade bread of gluten-free people for my partner, really made us a lot of illusion. Second egg campero with ham and truffle, exquisite, the third dish was chorizo criollo to the brasa, spectacular. desserts were exceptional, apple pie with vanilla ice cream and rice mousse with milk. all great, it was a pleasant surprise since my partner because of his condition of celiac can never eat well on the street and last night could try everything.Quick attention, we do not wait between dish and dish. The price but we ask you to collect more to leave tip.We would return with our eyes closed!"

"Restaurante dentro del Hotel Catalonia en Ronda. Tiene una preciosa terraza con unas vistas inmejorables y con un atardecer espectacular. Cena para 4 parejas. Los entrantes fueron unas verduras al carbón bastante buenas de punto y de sabor algunas mejor que otras. Y 2 steak tartar con carne cortada a cuchillo de mucha calidad y un aliño perfecto. Nos encantó. Varios segundos tanto carnes como pescado sobresaliendo el cordero y el rodaballo, exquisitos. Los postre, la torrija emborrachada de 10, la tartaleta bien con un helado de violeta exquisito y la anarquia de chocolate ni fu ni fa. En los vinos nos decantamos por los rondeños como no podía ser de otra manera, Cristina 100% Malbec de bodegas Conrad que ganó mucho en copa y un gran Tadeo de bodegas Cortijo de los Alguilares. A destacar también los panes que te ofrecen, muy muy buenos, destacaría el de aceituna. El servicio muy profesional y atento, a la altura del establecimiento. Y la relación calidad-precio, todos coincidimos que fue magnífica. Muy recomendable."

"There is a Korean menu board, and the staff spoke Korean well! At the end, we ate all the food and got a blueberry drink each. I don't know if it's a service that only we give or it's all, but it was really delicious. He asked while doing it and he was very kind. The oxtail stew felt like sweet braised ribs, and the fried eggplant was worth eating once for me who doesn't eat eggplant. Thanks to the restaurant that was full of kindness, I had a pleasant trip the whole time. They set it up so that it was good to eat, but the Asians at the next table really didn't do it haha Sooo delicious and it makes me so happy! Thanks for you : Perfect restaurant and Perfect day!!"

"Llevábamos tiempo observando y siguiente desde redes sociales , enlazado como Siempre por los reyes de la almadraba @Gadira .El sitio no defraudó , comida japonesa de primer nivel , chef con dotes sobrehumanos en la cocina , Enrique concretamente ! Un genio.Aparte de la comida japonesa , comimos una carne madurada “Lomo bajo de Frisona” realmente bien ejecutado , cerveza muy fría , postre excelente y un ambiente correcto con personal muy cercano y amable. Hemos recorrido 2h de coche para comer y no ha defraudado. El precio para lo que hemos comido 5 personas , con la calidad y el servicio no nos ha parecido nada caro , al revés . Muy aconsejable para personas con buen gusto."

"This restaurant is a great place to eat whether staying on the campsite, or passing by. We’re on the campsite for a week while I recover from an injury and can’t walk very far. It’s great to have this restaurant on ‘the doorstop’. The campsite is a great choice for our needs and we have eaten at the restaurant twice already. We had a ‘menu del dia’ the first time. It was good food and great value bread and olives while perusing the menu, large salad, followed by a main of beautifully tender chicken, mixed veg and fries. We just had coffee for dessert. Today we went for the main menu. Again bread and olives, I then chose fabulous prawns sizzling in garlic sauce, hubby shared them and there was plenty for two. I had chicken stuffed with meat and mushrooms served with mushroom sauce mixed veg and fries. Hubby had duck with an orange and dried fruit sauce. It was beautifully cooked and delicious! We’ll be going again!"
