"The Krua Thai (in German Thai cuisine by Mrs. Vichuta Rotjanawanit is not the only Thai restaurant on Mainzer Strasse, but surely the most famous. Those who want to visit it should have better reservations in advance, because it is not great and especially in the evening full to very full. The restaurant has Monday's rest day around and offers a not too extensive menu under the week (Di Fr changing lunch menu at very civilian prices. greetings are made by women in Thai costumes and with Thai greetings; you will be led to the table and the ladies also take over the further service. When the order is received, the desired degree of sharpness (from mild to hell is also requested for each dish. Service bottlenecks are not available; every guest is very well looked after. Each table is lovingly decorated with real flowers, leaves and grasses; here as well as in the service, the boss personally puts on hand. Pleasant floral decoration accompanies every single served dish. The decoration of the rooms is also abundant: statues (king Rama, Buddha, etc.), wall paintings (street elders, monkeys and other getiers, thin curtains as a kind of room divider between the individual tables. Anyone who has studied the menu can turn to the view of the walls, one or the other perhaps the whole decoration is a bit too much. Food: We have a plate with finger food mix (meat, fish, shellfish and then Gai Phad King (bonus-prig-fried duck breast with garlic and vegetable pan as well as Thai scented rice, Ped Krob Kratiam Phrik Tai (breaded chicken meat with ginger and vegetables, Gluai death (baked banana in honey and Khao Total price: EUR 63,50. Apart from the fact that the duck, like unfortunately in many Asian restaurants, was so well done here, everything was perfect and tasteful. I know the Thai cuisine of several stays on site quite well. Krua Thai is not as strong as other Thai restaurants; our dishes were pretty close to the original. We were completely satisfied with the bids and are happy to come back, especially since the price/performance ratio is also very good."

"In addition, on our invoice there was a champagne that we neither ordered nor drank, whose price almost put the price of our entire dishes in the shade, but later more. Days ago I was opened by my wife that on Friday we had a meeting with daughter and son-in-law to eat in the Roma. I was very pleased, but I thought the occasion was the upcoming flight of our Kurdish Turkish-style son-in-law to his relationship in Anatolia; that was not so, but our daughter currently has vacation and so we could meet at noon under the week. We met at the Roma's own car park, where the well-known German nobel brands were already plentiful; the SUV Porsches were in excess of AMG tuning Mercedessen and thick Audis, with normal car bodies like ours, you're getting quite noticed; . With the elevator went up to the Roma, we were welcomed by as always very friendly junior chief; my wife showed him her vaccination card and according to the motto pars pro toto, we were considered to others three with it as well. Since today there have been certain reliefs in the Saarland in Corona; However, this so-called Saarland model has culminated our CDU mini-preser Hans and his Council of Ministers in another state. Among other things, there is no masking obligation in restaurants, not only for guests but also for the staff. However, the masculine junior boss told us that the staff would continue to be on the go with mask during the coming days; the new regulation is not so well known and one wants to meet possible irritations and complaints from the guests. Careful is the mother of the porcelain box! We were led to a very nice one (in the last report I spoke on the occasion of a table covered by value. On the left of us, five noble widows sat in the fine twist, to us an older couple, who was more busy with his two smartphones than with spices and potions, to the right a three-stripe and, of course, there was no shortage in our restaurant area of business lunches. What we deserved, I don't know, but even the senior manager, who otherwise only directs the word to his busibussi guests, normal people as we don't respect and otherwise silently stands around like an oil grave in the front restaurant area, came to our table at some point, greeted us and asked if everything was to our satisfaction. Duck! Oh, what about Corona? In addition to the ubiquitous junior, three ladies and two men were in service; all well trained forces. I don't have to say more about the service, I have already reported on the ambience and the perfect cleanliness (see there. My wife drank a mineral water Morelli (0.2l EUR 2.50 and then a glass of the Taunus mineral water bottle ordered by our daughter (0.75l EUR 7.00). I drank as aperitiv a Karlsberg Ur Pils (0.25l EUR 3.00). Having had no good experiences with the Lugana San Benedetto offered here, I tried it for dinner this time with a Pinot Blanc Cantina Terlan, South Tyrol (0.15l EUR 5,90 ; according to the wine map splashy, mineral, dry . it meets the point. As a digestif I took a Glenlivet for EUR 8.50. We were somewhat surprised when paying for a bottle of Ruinart Rosé for EUR 145,00; the error reads, but flees from the world. The Ruinart most likely had the funny widows at the side table, who probably read it in memory of the abyss of one or more of the spouses, otherwise properly crashed; I had previously seen reddish in one and other of her glasses. By the way, this Ruinart costs in shopping, I just wobbled, 63 68 Euronen, so on the wine card with EUR 145 it is still fair. When ordering food, the spirits divorced; Ms, daughter and son-in-law decided to spend the lunch table at EUR 24,00. As an appetizer there was a salad bouquet with bresaola ham, tomato and parmesan (for the son-in-law or pasta with tuna and peas (for woman and daughter. The pasta, the savoury roast (I was allowed to take a sample bud and also the salad bouquet with hints were very good; the Dorade was no longer completely deaf. Shame; I would have let her go back, he didn't, but half of the fish passed on to his wife. My wife had ordered the Cassata for EUR 10,00 as a dessert; She was not really happy with that. The nuts and rumours that belong to the Cassata could be counted on two fingers; The reference model in Cassata remains for us the corresponding offers with our body and stomach Italian or in the dogana . As an appetizer I had fresh pudderlings alla crema on baked polenta in cream sauce for EUR 15.00. Two or three euros less would have done it here, otherwise this court was the absolute hammer for me; I don't know when and where I would have ever eaten such a polenta! This appetizer has made me gratinated scallops, Fines de claire or what else you take here as a starter smoothly. I have already had the best experience with filled rabbit parts; it was in the past filled rabbit back with Gnocchi it was today filled rabbit lobe with vegetable rabbit farm on Fregola Sarda (Pasta for EUR 27,00. Greatly prepared and very beautifully presented dish; extremely tasty. I had apparently pulled the big lot twice at the table today. If the Dorade had come a little fresher and the Cassata with more candidates, I would have forgiven five stars for food; in spite of everything, it will be four and a half. Conclusion: The Roma is still really recommended; it is not without reason for more than 40 years now! P.S. I almost forgot the kitchen. the first kitchen is standard here: two kinds of bread, three bowls; Content: very good olive oil, small black olives with core and sea salt. The second kitchen floor often changes; Today it was a spinach mousse with cubes from cod."

"We stayed and ate lunch here after long day/night traveling from USA. They do have a English Menu but that did not include daily specials. The staff appear to be the same hard working people from lunch @ am breakfast 2/17/17. For Lunch we both had daily special Lasagna. Which was quite good. We also each had a small glass of red wine to go with the dish. My husband finished his quickly as he was hungry and the waitress brought him another small dish with more. (He didn't really need more but that was very thoughtful). As they were good portions. The dining room was clean and it appeared the guest also dining for Lunch were all being promptly taken care of, as my observation at breakfast the next am. We were surprised at how quickly our food came out, at both visits. The morning breakfast buffet is set up and you help yourself. A male server asked if we would like any omelet or fried egg, scrambled egg @ breakfast. I requested omelet. It was quite good. Better than I was expecting. Cooked perfect. It was not huge, so not wasted. They had a good selection of yogurts, fresh fruits, breads, jams, three types of honey. Sausages. Soft boiled eggs, with noted you can request harder cooked eggs. Cheeses and meats, cereals, juices as well as waters. Neither of us felt we were missing anything. I enjoyed a hot pot of tea. There were a good selection of different types of tea. My husband is a coffee drinker and he enjoyed his coffee. Staff are very attentive and we both enjoyed both times we ate here. Much better than some other hotel restaurants, as we travel often we have tried a lot."

"at the last visit the house was fully equipped and the painters had given their best during the day-long shy weather. mme. simba had seen in the internet that among the ancestors in this week among others hooric in pfifferlingsrahm and then spontaneously order a table for today on the midday. that was a good idea, because at 11 o'clock we both had on our physio practice and then began straight direction golden bremm to the German-French border. on cleanliness, environment and price-performance ratio I have already expressed in detail in previous reports and therefore limit myself to this location during service and eating and drinking. service: was here at our last visit always the consistently good laune spraying and fleeting vocabulary wolfgang Niedecke-Double at the beginning, we had to do it today with the eva Mattes-Double again. thick Eastern European accent, friendly and friendly. in all competencies she had to get the information in the kitchen when I asked. the service gets four stars from me. P.S. I'm curious if the service cadre does not include an elvis - a hot fisherman, a Peter-Maffay - a narrowly merkel or a robber of Niro-Double and sends to the race. Eat and drink: as always, four were offered to praise between eur 8,90 and eur 12,20. for eur 8,90 there were as ancestors 1 hooric in pfifferlings cream with salat quenelles hooric , sauce crême-girolles et salate. I had initially taken with the 4th, three species of fish in dill sauce with rice and salat de trois sortes de poisson, sauce aneth avec rizeva and épinard a completely overrated and absolutely tasteless fish that I am just too stupid. Consequently, both decided simbas for one of the Saarland national dishes, the hoorik and the coming weeks 3 as always, a small tranche paté with garnitur and brot or a suppe today would have been the cauliflower soup and as dessert a piece of cheese cake or a cucumber is served the traditional dressing as an appetizer. the very neat cheesecake there is year for year, today's Quark food was a fig jar. we both decided for the well-known very good paté I was so hot that I had eaten them half before I thought of the photo due; on the dessert madame took the cowards and I took the cheesecake. she drank an orange limo 0.2l eur 2,10 and I a dark valentine weeping 0.5l eur 3,50. here I was a little skeptical when ordering because in contrast to bright valentines wee 0.5l eur 3,80 from the barrel comes the darkness from the bottle. my thoughts were, however, unfounded; also this wine tasted very fresh and fine. fine and since they also belong the hooric . and it must have been a very good proven pfifferling year; I don't know when I had last in a year so often pfifferlings on the teller, and this year is not yet there. paté, cakes and cowards were full in tune with the well-known good kitchen standard of the facility; nothing but nothing was to complain. four stars should also be there. Conclusion: at the evenings, and also only then, there are easings du koch . and one of the three offers is mosquitoes with four tasty sauces à la crême, Provencale, white wine and mohr ́sche . we must try soon."

Soviel also vorab.

"the first and really the last time! on mother 's day i thought we 'd go eat at guiseppe 's with the whole family. the place really wasn't packed! we had our two small children with us and pointed out when ordering that the children would get restless if they had to wait long. you should serve the appetizers immediately with the main meal. after an hour and a helped of, we were served the starters, of course the mini pizzas in between they took a whopping 45 minutes for the chef to finish the mini pizzas. three after hours, the meal was finally served to us in full. Thanks to the unarable wait, i couldn't eat with my wife because the children were getting restless. i find it so cheeky when i complain and get the answer there 's no other way . if i have to pay 360€ at the end of the day, i expect that i can eat together with my family, expect that my meal will be served together, of course i expect that i won't have to wait three hours for the meal. i would have been upset either if you 'd told me up front that when you have babies, eating is unreasonable. i would have gone elsewhere. you can't serve customers sorry! you do not have the right to tourish the customers and at the end tell me as an answer ,, there is no other way ', of course there is another way by maybe hiring a second cook for the weekends. really bad ..... we had our two young children and pointed out during the order that the children become restless during a long waiting period. they should serve the appetizers with the head. after one and a half hours waiting time, the appetizers were served in between of course the mini pizzen who took 45min until the cook had finished the mini pizzen). in the connection after three hours, we were finally fully served eating. thanks to the unbearable waiting time I could not eat together with my wife because the children became uneasy. I find such a cheerfulness when I complain and get as an answer, it's not different '. if I have to pay at the end of the day 360€ but I expect that I can eat together with my family, expect that my food is served together, expect of course that I don't have to wait three hours for eating. I wouldn't have been mad if they told me in front that they'd eat with babies. I would have been driving somewhere else. they can not serve so sorry! you have not the right to torment the customerhood and at the end tell me as answer, it is not different ', of course it is different by making a second cook perhaps put in place for the weekend. really bad.... most likely -10 stars forgive"

"I've known the Fellini for a long time, but I haven't visited the restaurant in Rotenbergstraße for a long time. I remember the delicious pasta dishes. And so, after a small city stroll, it should go to the small Italian restaurant in the Nauwieser district. As the name suggests, the name of the restaurant is the famous Italian film director Federico Fellini. As a result, a series of photos showing the stars from the most famous stripes of the filmmaker can be seen on the walls of the local. The furnishings in the Fellini are modern, everything gives a neat, tidy impression. During our visit there is a nice addition to the standard card with some seasonal dishes, many with pifferlings (e.g. a variant with rabbit). As I mentioned earlier, however, today I want to return to a typical Italian pasta and in front of the Bruscetta, especially lush in the Fellini. After a pleasant waiting period, these are served by the attentive lady in the service for two people on a large plate for my accompaniment and me. The typical Italian appetizer consists of slightly roasted white bread slices with a freshly prepared tomato cube (in Fellini the cores were removed beforehand), olive oil and fresh basil. A dish that lives from its ingredients and does not disappoint us today. As a main dish, my accompaniment chooses a lambsugo for almost 14, Euro and I myself enjoyed the penne with tomatoes, capers, spring onions, anchovies and garlic at 9, Euro. Both dishes are well tasted and live as well as the appetizers of fresh ingredients. Only the pasta used in these variants is not freshly produced in the Fellini, but this is justified by a fair price calculation. The portions are very neat and so you can speak of a good price pleasure ratio. To the main course we drink an open merlot and a large bottle of water, there was once a campari orange and a house aperitif consisting of crémant, strawberries and fresh mint. The service at Fellini works on this early evening routined and attentive, although the small restaurant is almost full after an hour. We are obviously not the only guests who appreciate the solid kitchen performance in the Nauwieser district. The Fellini certainly does not have the right to want to be Saarbrücken's Nobelitaliener, it rather impresses with properly prepared dishes at fair prices."
