"We 've eaten here a few times now. The first couple of times was for a mixed grill, which was plentiful, and very good value for money. The last 3 or 4vtimes has been for the '2 meals bottle of wine ' deal for £21.99, which, to be honest, is hard to beat these days. We usually have the rump steak and a bottle of red, but last time, I had the gammon. It 's all been really nice, if a 'little ' overcooked. There 's sometimes quite rowdy families in with feral kids, but nothing that 's spoiled our time there. The staff are polite and pleasant. The only bugbear is, I wish the tables got cleared and cleaned quicker and more thoroughly. Not just the tables, but the floor as well, as we had to move tables twice last time, due to the abundance of sausage and peas on the floor. We were going to try upstairs for a change last weekend, but the smell of excrement from the toilets was overpowering, and wafted all the way upstairs. We 've never sat at the seating area outside, but like to take the remains of the bottle of wine down to the waters edge, and sit and watch the boats"
