We had a lovely champagne breakfast yesterday food lovely so was staff would highly recommend it.

Service was fab, friendly and helpful. The food was great, we enjoyed breakfast coffee and a cheeky prosecco. Nice space outside at the back to sit and relax.

Last minute booking and glad we did. Service was spot on, and food was really good. Arrived early but was still seated right away. The only downside couldn't park, so we had to park about 250m away. But that's probably Sunday lunchtime for you . Visualizza piatti

What a great place to eat! Beautiful pub/restaurant, the food was excellent (desserts very rich but incredible! , great service, big kids portions. I imagine during the day/summer especially being next to the canal that this is a busy place! We will return of ever back in the area.

We came for a quiet afternoon of food and drinks but also to celebrate a special moment. The lady serving us picked up on that and without even being asked sent this to our table! The staff across the board were attentive and the service was amazing but this was really touching. Thank you :

Awesome meal last night. We eat here a lot and the food is always great but last night it was incredible! Couldn't fault it simply the best place to eat in Derbyshire. Lovely meal today quick service. I put in the booking today was a birthday occasion and we would appreciate anything that would make it that bit more special. The lovely staff carried a Happy Birthday dessert board to our table whilst singing. Thank you it was a lovely surprise for the birthday boy

We called in for a drink on Sunday afternoon and were soon tempted by the lovely looking plates of food we saw going past us. Great Ham Hock Terrine for starters, Carvery Platter for main, and a scrumptious chocolate thingy for dessert. All washed down with a couple of glasses of wine! Friendly atmosphere, efficient staff, good menu.

We were driving past and decided to stop last minute for lunch and what a great choice. It was very busy as it Valentine’s Day and I explained I had a very hungry 10 week old baby I didn’t fancy feeding her right in the middle of the busy pub so the lovely man found us a table and showed us where we could pick from and asked where I would feel comfortable which was massively appreciated.
