"A great dinner had with lovely and warm hostess, who know every offer on their card perfectly and have something to explain. There I chose a promising menu that can be flexibly dived from gear to gear on the good tradition with easy to control but interesting innovations. The menu I had previewed online was always short. For this, the wine and beverage map is quite extensive. And the sovereign preparation and wine tasting (at fair price) then crowned everything. After a hearty mini vitello tonnato as welcome (for me the desired preparation for alcohol) came the noble fish stew, i.e. the soup walk first. This one-pot was again a bit deceptive in the name, but not negligent in quality. Because he wasn't cooked in a barrel, he was compiled with broth and inlay, but the clear fish-force broth that was presented at the table was simply overwhelming in taste. Also the inserts – shrimps, scallops, trout fillet and... Here I didn't let it work – all were beautifully fresh, slightly tanned with flour or easily panned and perfectly glazed, remember the Hamburger Fischpfanne, but as an extrafine version on the ideal cooking level. The different natural tastes of fish and seafood remain fully recognizable even after roasting. Exciting to the last catch from the fish bowl. The fried duck pot liver was slightly crusted on the outside and pink on the inside. The aroma of duck fat was round and clean. Fully. I personally found the liver terrine a little too alcoholic. That's what I told the host. She replied that the team wanted to try it with another intensified wine. Impressive. And after asking for the meaning of Morio- to the jelly, I also got a Morio-muscat that is considered a so-called bouquet wine. The flawless, pink hovers and cream puffs were further proof of the reliable cuisine. The innovative strawberry mule bags were not a highlight, but also no weak point. At dessert, I decided for Mokka-Crème brûlée with Calamansi-Sorbet – the advice of the host in terms of bitterness in citrus fruit was convincing. Besides, after the kite, I am a sceptic to the pink or ruby chocolate. However, a portion of three kinds of chocolate (white, pink new breeding and brown) was also presented to me on my request and chocolate granules from the respective varieties for testing, also another round of presentation from the chef to surprise. What more did you want? Testing is always fun. And now I have forgotten too often: In principle, it is no less fun to be pampered and convinced directly."

"The former Schuster winery was acquired by the Pohl family in 2010 and has been cultivated for the last years peu à peu. At the end of 2013, the tastefully renovated winery with Vinothek was opened. In 2014 there was a guest house with 8 rooms. The symbol of the winery is the Kallstadter Löwe, the lion's head and the color purple are encountered throughout the property. Winery on the Nile with guest house in the background In front of the sun we seek protection under a parasol, of course a purple parasol and we first approve a cool 2013 Ungsteiner Riesling 7,40 € 0.25 glass. The fine mineral note with subtle fruit delights and refreshes. Three Bruschetta „à la Nil“ with roasted garlic and chilli 6,50 €” Three Bruschetta „à la Nil“ with roasted garlic and chilli nice little snack. The 2013 SAUMAGEN Spätburgunder 9,70 € 0,25 glass, on the other hand, is a completely different powerful complex caliber with a lot of red fruit. To this end, we did not make a cart that: “Cross roasted Alentejo Chorizo with Sippel’s strawberry schnapps at the table flambit and tranched – €10.90” curious. Kross fried Alentejo Chorizo with Sippel's strawberry schnapps at the table flambit and tranchesVery spicy Portuguese sausage with fine, regional noble brandy, which is actually too bad for flambia. Alentejo Chorizo with Sippel's strawberry liquor at table flambiert The offered no food, mostly antipasti or tapas, reach the burger with Wagyu Beef. The Portuguese intervention is owed to the sister winery in the Alentejo, whose wines are also offered here. Winery at the Nil Interior A chic winery that delights guests with very friendly, motivated service. And so it is not surprising that besides cyclists like us, also some Nobel Roadster park around the Winzerhof. In any case, a nice change if you have already tasted in the days before elsewhere enough Palatinate Trinity or Lavender Nug with Sauerkraut, because this does not exist here. Winery at Nil"

"After we read the reviews, two hungry adult and two pizza loving children were sure we would have a great meal. wrong! my wife and I cook a lot too home and are therefore used to delicious good eating. the first thing I saw when I entered was a bucket on the pizza table, which was full of granulated cheese. in comparison to eating tonight: the vegetarian lasagne was very boring (it is a restaurant). the lasagne was hearty in the amount, but it was simply lacking taste and she seemed to be covered with the cheese I had previously seen in the bucket. I had the carving parmigiana and regretted this, as it was also lacking taste, although the portion was generous. strangely my wife complained about the salami pizza of my one child because she was too salty, and that was really. our waiter told us that the salami is actually salty. good to know, but not helpful except that I added the salty salami of the pizza and added to my carving, which has not helped me much to enjoy the food (although I tried!). the ham pizza of my daughter was also very salty. everything we ordered, except the salates (which were not bad at all) seemed to use the cheese I saw entering. I didn't know what to think about it because I don't know what kind of cheese they use at the different meal times? but only what my husband said to me. either I am spoiled by good home cooking or others find this defensive, salty, boring eating great. I have informed the waiter and the man at the bar. they were friendly and attentive, but we were still very dissatisfied with the food as a whole. Excuse me, don alberto."

"This is the best typical' German food I've had in the past 5 months living here. The friendly and helpful waiter recommended the items from the Oktoberfest menu as that was their specials. I started with a salad that was great. Properly dressed, excellent dressing...that wasn't watery and the small beans a nice addition. My wife's pumpkin soup with toasted pumpkin seeds was great too. My main I got the Farmers plate that had 1/4 duck, slice of roasted pork and pork knuckle. The duck had crispy, slightly salty (that's good) skin and the meat was moist! The pork knuckle was so tender and not cooked. I now know why this is always on menus here. Again, when done correctly, great. The pork roast very good. I thought I would need more gravy but the moist duck and pork knuckle didn't need it. My wife got the Münchener Pork Roast. That too was delicious. The sides of potato dumplings and red cabbage were enormous and served family style. Potato dumplings light and airy really good. Slightly under seasoned but with the slightly salty gravy perfect. Red cabbage really sweet and sour. Only criticism is the tomato and cumber on the salad need salt, and no salt or pepper on the table. I would also asked for only 1/2 of the sides. I hate to waste food and it was too much. They also have their own beers and a good selection of local wines. We came on a Sunday night at 6 and the place was already busy. Good amount of locals. Last plus, the atmosphere is great. Exposed wood beam walls, hops strung around the ceiling, really nice."

"we have experienced this locally at a 50th birthday. but at that time we did not want to write a critique, because invite. we looked at the crooks of the predecessors and spontaneously decided to evaluate the locally unbiased on Friday. the name for recovery with the addition large nut kitchen is program. since whole combined with a peeled original as wet is already a brand of speyer gastronomy. location and parking: This is located on the exit road direction dudenhofen – germersheim and has a capacity-limited own parking space, which is still limited in summer by the beer garden. if these parking places are occupied search is announced. but we are looking for this rewarded by an original kitchen. Internet:The local has no own internet site! Ambience: Entering, you really seem to enter the living room of the grandmother. a grandmother of the 60s. Unfortunately, these atmospheres only know few. that has nothing to do with a modern grandmother, which we strive to look out her daughter and that also creates. with a lot of love was reminded of the good “old time”! the time actually the grandmother or great-grandmother who has experienced it!We are awarded to large-mother living rooms nostalgic 5***stars. guests: all age groups! without dresscode – just how you are! Service/service: we experienced today the service by the chef personally! his sprouts at the service has already “comedian quality!, but for non-peckers and people who go in a cellar not suitable for laughing! for non-peckers applies: “This is typical pfalz and the pfalz is the central point of the world!” otherwise the service is competent, informatiw and can offer and serve the food and drinks professionally. we forgive for the normal 4****stars, because of the original peeled originals enthusiastic 5*****stars. Menu:This is brought to the point! the basics schnitzel and rumpsteak are available in various variants, complemented by creative, special pubic!Essen:We ordered zanderfilet with salatkartoffel and supplementsalat, as well as cordon bleu with gorgonzola sauce (18,00€) who personally told us if it could be more forelle. I agreed. The first was the supplemental salad. made with typical Palatinate dressing, winey dominates here but delicious! it consisted of current green salad, radishes, tomato, carrots and gurkens! the cordon bleu with bratkartoffeln, which were really made by themselves, decorated with shalottence onions and swirling, finely gowned. tastefully a reminder of my grandmother's bratkartoffel! At the same time the trout was served by the kitchen staff. there were also petersilien salt potatoes. the trout was decorated with roasted mandel! when trying to file the trout I noticed with surprise, the burrows were already very professionally removed! I wouldn't have expected it in a local Peache. same I had experienced the last time in Alsace years ago, and there in a 3 star michelin local. that is the finest à la bonne heure. we would agree without the trout on earned 4 *stars. but the forelle thrilled me and my taste nerve so that I overtuned my wife to 5*****stars.Toilettes/cleanness:The local makes a well-kept impression that continued on the toilets! Therefore also here deserved 4**Stars.Price:Riesling schorle index: 0.5l 4,00€ is quite high for the pfalz. a price of 3,50€ would meet the rest of the trips. the apple juice choir with 3.00€ corresponds to the impression. We'll forgive 3* stars! because basics do justice to the quality, but above which are easy to overprice. Conclusion:Our conclusion is very positiw. a local to enjoy and relax while eating well! ideal for couples to get to know more or how to live out a lovely partnership! Also for family celebrations the ideal!"

"we came over the slumber block into this restaurant, had a table reserved for 20 o'clock. the restaurant was full and we had to wait a short time and then got a table assigned. the service was very friendly and tried. our order was received at a time and the drinks were brought at once. However, we had to wait an hour for our food, although almost all guests had already eaten at this time and we had not ordered complicated dishes. we had ordered a salad plate and three pizzas. after almost an hour we got zigzag, these are fried pizza pastry pieces, these were fresh and tasty. everything that came after that was not a restaurant quality. the salat with shrimps, artichokes and ei was just disgusting, the artichokes were already on the vergären, the tomaten tasted after nothing, instead of cocktail sauce the shrimps were soaked in pizza sauce and the salat was partly blurred. the pizzateig was completely desalinated and so tasted the pizzas. the coating was not evenly distributed on the pizza, but for example at a place was the whole garlic. we can't imagine how to go here more often, unless masters get a better quality. we will certainly never put a foot in this local again. the two points are only for the service, which has apologized for having to wait for our food for so long and also for the fact that we had more drinks at the end on our bill, which we fortunately still noticed."

"Alas, I made reservations at Avante Garthe (apparently Paparazzi's new name) based on these reviews... and something fundamental must have changed along with the name, because I was hideously disappointed. I love good food and am no stranger to small but tasty portions, but nothing...about this evening justified the price. First, they must have been understaffed, because the service was terribly slow and inattentive (even for German standards). Perhaps the room looks nicer by day, but at night, its empty-box shape is unlivened by the sparse, monochrome design, unimaginative wall hangings and the hotel-like chandelier, with spots of very un-cozy florescent light beaming out from wall niches. After sitting there for at least 20 minutes, they finally plunked down some bread and promising-looking balls of homemade butter and then dashed off again without explaining a thing. One of the butters turned out to contain pork, so beware if you are vegetarian or a non-pork-eater. The menu was sparse essentially, one had a choice of the whitefish or steak. They were out of one of the sizes of steak, so our whole table of six people ended up with the same two meals all around. The fish came: in the form of a large, stunningly empty plate containing a single card-deck-sized portion of whitefish. When my friends looked sadly at their meager meal I asked why they didn't order a side dish. They had: it consisted of the colored smear of potato substance that the rest of us had taken for decoration. I ordered the steak for €32 and paid an extra €4 to have a side dish instead of only a lump of meat. Would I like a sauce with that? €2.50 please. I started to wonder if the plate and silverware cost extra, as well. The steak tasted nice, but it was honestly not better than other nice Argentinian cuts I have had at two-thirds the price. The fish was fat-free and flavorless. During the meal, if we wanted another glass of wine or more bread (because the other option would have been to try to lick any remaining sustenance from our quickly-empty plates), we practically had to stick out a foot and trip the waiters as they hurried past our table. Finally, exasperated, unsatisfied and still hungry, we simply wanted to pay and leave so that we could all go back to my place and have some cheese and wine. After sticking our hands in the air and waving for the waiter's attention, it still took ten minutes for someone to notice us and another ten minutes to get the bill paid at something like sixty euros per person! Needless to say, I will never return."

"the restaurant has arrived after moving from ludwigshafen in speyer well. that has several (good) reasons: The map is inexpensive for local conditions - at first it was even the "ludwigshafener fußkarten" and the lower level there, which already alone ensured "full house".The preparation especially the pizze is "most Italian" if this linguistic slip is allowed. the floor is pleasantly thin, yet solid, the edge is tasty and the salt content is true. for me pizza must not taste like "German brot". the subject is actually made and the cheese is from the cow and not from the labor. I like to see if the basilikum is not baked and after that a small little good olive oil is to be bought over it.The other dishes I do not know from my own tasting, but they look appealing. I can't say anything about it tastefully. The drink card is very tidy with the Italian weepings, the beer prices are human for speyrer conditions. It's part of the fact that it's incredibly loud inside, because it's always completely occupied locally, especially in the evening. one understands oneself in a foursome only laborious, the sound of the other guests is overwhelming. that makes the stay very unpleasant if you want to go away in the evening.Outside, the cleanly cobbled beer garden under trees is a nice place to sit, but it is radical and rigorously closed after inhabiting complaints by 22.00 clock. in the city is closed at 23.00. this can be annoyed at later appointments. The service is based on master personnel who worked almost completely in ludwigshafen. that's the routine for good. Unfortunately, the additional forces are not comparable, there seems to be a strange division of work between the master and the auxiliary personnel (there is "bringer and clearer" and "order picker and casser"), so that it can hook when reordering, for example."
