"Nachdem wir schon öfter den Lieferservice in Anspruch genommen hatten und von der Portionsgröße in Relation zum Geschmack sehr positiv überrascht waren, sind wir abens ins PastaPasta (nicht zu verwechseln mit ALTE PastaPasta!). Wie Vorredner schon angemerkt haben, ist die Einrichtung und Raumaufteilung sehr spartanisch und eher auf Raststätten- / Kneipenniveau. Wir bekamen einen Tisch in einer Nische Nähe des Tresen. Der Service war durchweg schnell und gegenüber unserer Tochter sehr italienisch - freundlich. Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte waren sehr üppig, obwohl wir uns die Vorspeise schon geteilt hatten, waren wir mehr als satt. Pizzen sind so groß, daß man sie leicht zu zweit essen kann. Wer Wert auf große Portionen legt, ist hier goldrichtig und wird auch von der Qualität nicht enttäuscht.Hierher sollte niemand essen gehen, der deutlichen Wert auf gehobenes Ambiente legt. Wer aber gern viel und gut ißt, der ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Wir lassen jedenfalls wieder liefern bzw kommen wieder!"

"We stayed here in June for a few days. The original building dates from 1702 but inside it is fully modernised. There are 5 guest rooms, ours was number 2. The room was spacious with a king size bed and crisp white linen. There were 2 windows overlooking the front of the hotel. The shower room was well equipped and quite roomy with lovely white fluffy towels. The staff made us very welcome and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was typical of the region with a selection of cheeses and cold meats alongside the cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and bread rolls. Eggs were also prepared to order scrambled or boiled . Fresh coffee and tea was supplied and orange juice was also provided. The guest house is spotlessly clean and modern inside. The location is ideal for exploring Speyer on foot as it is only a few steps up to the cathedral and into the main part of the historic town. It is also only a 10/ 15 minute stroll to the River Rhine. If you have a car there is a car park right in front of the hotel, hidden from from view by shrubs and trees. We would highly recommend this establishment and look forward to staying here in the future."

"looking for a classic German beer garden experience? this is the one to come to.the Alter Hammer is a favorite meeting spot for locals, (my in-laws have been coming here and meeting friends here for years) and you'll understand why -- it's a great location right by the river (the Rhine) and has a huge outdoor area where you can enjoy the river views and people watching. it's ideal for kids, as there is plenty of space to run around and explore within view of the tables. it's an easy walk from the sights of Speyer or by bike.it's a typical Biergarten menu & prices; you do pay for the view a little bit, but it's not at all touristy-overpriced. food is decent, and there's good variety. great beers and wurst (sausage). there are a few vegetarian options.TIP: if it's a crowded day (esp. summertime) and you see some spots open at a table that's occupied, simply ask politely if you can join. people are generally friendly, and culturally it's totally normal to share a table with strangers if there are places free."

"Zum ersten und letzten Mal. Der Salat war leider sehr unappetitlich und auch geschmacklich nicht mein Fall, aber darüber lässt sich ja streiten. Die Kroketten und das Schnitzel lagen zulange im Fett (schon dunkel). Meine Lende und meines Nachbarn Lamm waren leider nicht mehr rosa, und die Keule am Tisch war schwarz. Auf die Missstände angesprochen wurde geantwortet: Sie sind der einzige, der sich über den Salat beschwert. Bzw (zur Keule): Das gehört so, dass es knusprig ist. mein Fazit Der Service bleibt ausbaufähig. Der Preis war gut, die Leistung leider nicht."

"on Saturday evening we returned together with friends from speyer to the host house on the dom. After a short waiting period came a nice and very friendly service power that took up our order. again after a short waiting period the ordered drinks came. we got two times to eat and one salad and one haxe. the rumpsteaks of me and my wife were on the point medium and a high-end! the crimped butter was very nice in shape and tasted class (homemade at any rate) the grilled vegetables were very well tasted and the garlic was also properly balanced. the haxe and the salat förster also looked very tasty from ! martina and tom were very enthusiastic! the kitchen I can really recommend only. resounds to the kitchen so. Conclusion: I can't understand. come back! all around a great service and a very good kitchen - so on - will be happy to come back."

"Came here with not veggie friends. The restaurant is located on the ground floor with parking outside and much more on the fair parking directly above the street (free after 6:00). We ordered a naan, vegetable pasta and bhajis. The starters came with four Chutneys/sauces. The nets were also really delicious. My potato-cauliflower table was a dry curry and mild. My friends had ordered wet curries that were fragrant and spicy. The menu is available in English and German. The vegetarian section has some vegan dishes, although they are not marked as such. "Wir waren auf der lampertheimer Kerwe im Gasthaus Krone zum Mittagessen. Die Speisenauswahl war sehr dürftig, was man anlässlich eines zu erwartenden Besucheraufkommens verstehen kann. Es gab z.B Wurstsalat, Goulaschsuppe, Kassler mit Kraut und Schnitzel. Alles mit Brot. Außerdem hausmacher mit Kartoffelbrei. Wir bestellten Getränke und 2 Schnitzel. Die Bedienung (absolut nett und freundlich brachte uns die Getränke kassierte gleich alles ab. Nach kurzer Zeit bekamen wir die Schnitzel serviert. Was wir auf unseren Tellern wiederfanden, war eine absolute Frechheit. Völlig lieblos lag dort ein kleines, paniertes Pressfleischschnitzel und eine Scheibe trockenes Brot. Für ein solches Essen haben wir pro Teller 11,50 Euro bezahlt! Geschmeckt hat es natürlich entsprechend…wir fühlten uns wirklich abgetippt! Wir haben uns mit anderen Gästen am Tisch über das Essen unterhalten (sie haben erzählt sie sind dort Stammgäste und erfuhren, dass dort eigentlich „richtige“ Schnitzel mit diversen Saucen serviert werden. Die Qualität soll sonst auch anders sein. Nach dem Essen gingen wir weiter über die Kerwe. Was dort alles leckeres angeboten wurde (z.B. große duftende Haxen mit Brot für 9,50 € haben wir es sehr bereut, dass wir unser Essen in der Krone eingenommen haben."

"Bring cash! They don't take credit cards. We had the cordon bleu schnitzel, and it didn't disappoint! Hint - get the cream gravy. So good. My hubby got the rumpsteak. From American standards, it was tough and dry, even at a medium temp. He was happy my schnitzel was so big so he could have some! His potato noodles were fantastic!Our daughter was here a couple of years ago and had a great experience then, too. Good to know it is standing the test of time!"

"The restaurant is near Karlsruhe Hbf. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience but I wouldn’t come back. We ordered a caprese salad and a pizza to share in two and told the waiter so. Unfortunately the salad and the pizza (and bread) arrived all together...and therefore we had to hurry to eat the salad so that the pizza doesn’t get cold. The bread was very nice, I took a bite but didn’t eat it (why didn’t they bring it while we were waiting). The pizza was somewhat watery but the salami was good..."

"Just a bit of food, in the brewhouse at the cathedral. Very nice operation, but the beer tent was almost booked, we get two more places. The usual formalities, then the drinks ordered are already there. We order pumpkin soup, 1/2 duck and dumplings with sponges. The soups are equal and delicious. "We stayed at the Maximilian's apartments and were very pleased with them. They are modern and clean. We were arriving by car and the directions to the parking garage were misspelled and since we were using GPS we had some difficulties. We ate dinner and breakfast here. Breakfast was excellent ( farmer frustuck & eggs Benedict) and our server extremely pleasant. Dinner was another matter. The server we had seemed totally disinterested in serving people who did not speak fluent German. We tried our best with translations but he appeared sharp and impatient. This kind of spoiled the experience"

Although this certainly challenges some too crisp, I find this idea very successful.What is disturbing are the two large television monitors on which permanent Greek travel documents (without ton) run.The menu is large and extensive. Maybe something too extensive and you have to wonder if all this can actually be fresh in the kitchen. as a vegetarian, however, you do yourself very easily with the selection, as there is only one dish. this should be revised in the present time. a little pet-free selection should finally exist everywhere. However, a Greek restaurant is generally not known for its freedom of meat. to each eat there is an salad that can be put together in a rich buffet itself. the service was very nice and gave us good recommendations.
