"Very small, but very fine: super friendly, everything was explained to us with patience. Again and again, we were asked if we were asking and if everything was okay. Ambience is great! Unfortunately, it is a little hidden we have a little used to find it. Second row quasi. The only minus point I forgive is the portion size. So I personally found them very small. Tastefully good. My personal highlight was the cake! Rarely eaten a delicious cake as dessert. All in all highly recommended!!!"

"Wir besuchten "Marcel's" spontan am Montagabend. Das Ambiente im Restaurant bzw. die Einrichtung lässt erst mal nicht erahnen wie lecker es ist. Es gab eingelegte Oliven mit Brot und Dip zur Vorspeise. Zum Hauptgang einmal die Champignon Cappucino Suppe mit schwarzem Trüffel und einmal die Schweinefilet-Medaillons in Champignonrahm, Salat und alternativ Pommes statt Pappadelle. Das Essen und das Personal ist ausgezeichnet. Zum Dessert bestellten wir uns dann noch die Trilogie von Marcels (Creme Brûlé, Panna Cotta, Mousse au Chocolat). Einfach nur der HAMMER!!!!!Wir kommen gerne wieder :-) und bedanken uns für das leckere Essen *daumen hoch*"

"During a stop in Trier I dined at this tapas based restaurant that is located in the heart of the main walkway. Reservations are highly recommended as it appears to get busy sought after amongst a strong following of guests . I was there for a mid day lunch and the Menu is a great representation of tapas dishes . I chose a trio of dishes. Recommended to get at least three tapas per person to have the full experience of various flavors . Black beluga lentil salad is a must . New favorite legume for me ! Shrimp were perfectly cooked and sardines are just right and not overpowering. Side portion of bread homemade aioli take the dishes to another level by adding extra flavors . Restaurant has excellent selection of wines, and owners can help recommend a pairing based on flavor profiles . They were very kind to let me sample 3 wines before selecting my final choice of a Barahonda Barrica Syrah that complemented the entire meal perfectly . Quality of food is top , attention to details, Service was great and owners extremely friendly and kind . Restaurant has a selection of of products for purchase including wines. A real gem for the city 100% I Will be coming back next time I am in the area ."

"Meine Frau und ich gehen so 2-3 mal im Monat zum Frankenturm. Quasi Stammgäste. Hier gibt es gutes Essen und als Krönung zum Schluss immer eine Grappa aufs Haus.Vor 3 Wochen nicht mehr. Beim Personal gab es Wechsel. Nicht schlimm, vielleicht vergessen.Gestern war ich ohne meine Frau dort. Beim Bezahlen merkte ich, dass wieder jeder Gast gefragt wurde wegen der Grappa.........ausser mir. Ich wurde sogar ignoriert, was daran zu erkennen war, dass der Kellner immer den anderen Durchgang benutzte.Tut mir leid, das wars dann. Kunde 2. Klasse kann ich überall werden."

"Waren spontan dort. Restaurant ist fast leer gewesen. Location nicht die schönste. Sushi wurde frisch zubereitet. Gute Qualität und auch sehr schmackhaft. Preise sind angemessen. Bedienung ist freundlich gewesen. Etwas lange Wartezeit, da nur ein Koch das ganze zubereitet hat. Da es keine Bestellung vor unserer gab, war unsere Wartezeit akzeptabel. Die Gäste, die nach uns kamen (eine Relativ große Bestellung zur Abholung und wenige Minuten später eine Gruppe mit 5 Personen) mussten leider sehr lange warten. Aber wie schon gesagt, das Sushi ist Top gewesen! Die besten Restaurants in meiner Nähe"

"Seltsam, auf der Homepage gelten andere Preise als bei Lieferung? Davon steht hier nichts! Auch die Preisliste bei Liferando hilft nicht weiter. Letzendlich ist die Preisgestaltung nicht nachvollziehbar und eine Klärung war trotz telefonischer Nachfrage seitens des Gasthaus Crames auch nicht drin. An dem Geschmack der „Flieten“ ist nichts auszusetzen, die sind das Aushängeschild des Restaurants und sehr gut. Nur die Soßen sind nicht selbst gemacht und von einem bekannten Hersteller den man im Supermarktregal finden kann. Zumindest konnte ich die Bedienung dabei beobachten wie sie die kleinen Dosen zur Ausserhauslieferung damit füllte. Für mich keine Empfehlung."

"Einfach Klasse. Vom Empfang bis zum verabschieden. Die Räumlichkeiten sind schön eingerichtet und das Fließband für den Sushitransport ist gut gemacht. Es wurden auf unsere Wünsche bezüglich Essen direkt eingegangen. Getränke kamen schnell und wurden freundlich serviert. Ebenso der tolle Service von dem Herrn der die Teller abgeräumt hat. Die Sushi waren abwechslungsreich und das Fließband war mit allem gut gefüllt. Selbst Dessert war mit dabei. Unser Resümee ist das es für uns bis jetzt das beste sushi Lokal war. Vielleicht Dank für den tollen Service und das gute Buffet sowie Sushi . Parkplätze ausreichend und kartenzahlung ist auch möglich. Am besten vorher einen Platz reservieren. Nachtrag 1/2025 Heute wieder da gewesen. Wie letztes mal eine sehr nette Begrüßung. Service war auch wieder perfekt. Die Abwechslung an Sushi war diesmal nicht so vielfältig und abwechslungsreich. Mir fehlen auch die Maki mit Lachs. Werden bald wieder kommen."

"I know that Germany is not known for Mexican food but Quesadilla 's food was good but their drinks need work. The house margarita was terrible, I literally forced myself to drink it. I wanted to send it back but couldn 't. It was better than some of the Mexican food places but not the best that we have had here. We called before we showed up and they said that they were double booked for the night. When we got there, there were several tables open so we sat at the bar because they were double booked. By the time we left about half the tables were seated, so not sure why we couldn 't sit at a table but if that was double booked, they weren 't that busy. All and all the place was good but not the best. Would go back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Sushi Trier has a very large selection of sushi varieties and also some other Japanese dishes. The sushi tastes very good and the portions are, typical of sushi, quite extensive. Japanese drinks are also offered. Compared to other sushi shops, prices are quite favourable. If you want to eat on site, a table reservation is really useful because the restaurant has been full 20 minutes after the opening. However, all dishes are also pre-adjustable for taking. A visit is definitely worth it; also to get a change from the German cuisine of many restaurants in Trier."

"Wir waren vor einem Jahr hier und ich war restlos begeistert. Die Frage ist, geht man erneut in ein solch tolles Lokal? Wird man bestätigt oder entäuscht? Nun wir sind das Riskio eingegangen und haben einen Tisch reserviert, ohne ist es schwer dort unterzukommen. Um es kurz zu machen es wr wieder gut, aber leider gab es dieses mal auch das ein oder andere zu kritisieren. Der Service war gewohnt klasse, die Mensche dort lieben ihren Job und das spürt man. Die erste Enttäuschung war das Tartar vom Rind. Da gibt es nur eine Meinung, ein Tartar wird mit dem Messer geschnittet und nie gewolft. Drück man das gute Fleisch durch den Wolf erhälnt man Mett und kein Tartar. In diesem Fall war es so fein gewolft, das es schon eher ein Farce war. Ein sehr unangenehmes, breiiges Mundgefühl. Die Hauptspeisen waren erstklassig, mein Lamm war ein Traum, die Jus ein Gedicht und auch der Burgunderbraten meiner Frau war zart und sehr lecker. Da war wieder meine Brasserie. Ein weiterer Punkt der mir nicht gefallen hat war die Temperatur meines Cabernet Sauvignon. In meiner Ausbildung habe ich gelernt, das diese Tanin haltigen Weine bei 16-18 Grad serviert werden. Ich denke, das der Wein eher leicht drüber lag und wärmer war. Da ich aber generell auch Rotweine kühle, hätte ich den Wein gerne gemessen um dem Lokal nicht unrecht zu tun. Auf jeden Fall machen fast alle Weinlokale eine Fehler, sie geben nur bei Weißweinen einen Weinkühler. Selbst wenn der Cab seine 18 Grad hatte als wie ihn bekamen, in der Zeit des Essens wird er wärmer und sein Alkohol spielt sich immer mehr nach vorne. Ja ich hätte vorher fragen sollen, ob das Tartar geschnitten wird und ja ich hätte nach einem Weinkühler fragen können, aber ich war zu beseelt von meinem letzten Besuch vor Ort. Komme ich nun ein drittes Mal in die Brasserie? Sicher, aber dann frage ich vorher kritischer nach, den das Lokal ist für mch immer noch das beste Lokal in Trier."

"Wir waren diese Woche in Trier und Dank Google haben wir auch ziemlich schnell einen "Sehr guten Asiaten" laut google Bewertungen gefunden. Diese Bewertungen genau wie hier kann ich nicht teilen. Wir waren gegen Mittag in dem Asia bistro unsere ersten Gedanken waren sehr positiv da das Bistro gut besucht war und es lecker roch....Die Bedienung obwohl sie gut Deutsch sprechen konnte war doch sehr unfreundlich. Wir hatten Ente Thai Curry. Die Soße war befriedigend .. echt nichts besonderes ... ich habe schon viel bessere aber auch schon viel schlechter gegessen also noch Luft nach oben ... Die Ente kam mir ein wenig klein vor, nicht die normale Portion die man gewöhnt ist. Sie war mangelhaft, zäh und trocken. Ich konnte sie nicht aufessen .. Als wir dies Ansprachen kam nur eine trotzreaktion sie sei normalerweise nicht so.Alles in allem war es kein besonderes Highlight Mittlere durchschnitt nichts besonderes. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnisse war nicht gegeben da die Leistung nicht erbracht wurde. Das Bistro wird von uns nicht noch einmal besucht"

"I just can recommend this restaurant. It´s neither old nor shabby!! It´s a warm an cosy atmosphere with candles and geek music playing with a classic greek interior. Places like these are hard to find nowadays as most locations are modern and look more or...less all the same. You get a free welcome Ouzo, the food is fantastic also homemade Tzatziki Sauce and Saladsauce for a very fair price and after the food they even offered us another free drink roseliquere with a figg insideyummy!. You really feel welcome here and it´s just nice to spend a nice evening in this location. We will definately come back! The Restaurant is not far away from the city center but I guess not very much tourists find their way there, because it´s not in the pedestrian zone. It has a small, free parking garage, which is very practical because it´s hard to find parking spaces in the area"

"Auch wir sollten am 1.Weihnachtsfeiertag mit 6 Personen in die Tapas-Bar gesetzt werden. Dies lehnten wir aus den von anderen Kritikern hier bereits genannten Gründen ab. Wir hatten ja auch nicht dort, sondern im Restaurant reserviert. Der Umgang mit dieser Tatsache und uns im weiteren Verlauf war unvorstellbar. Schließlich verließen wir das Lokal. Egal. Allerdings fällt doch der Umgang mit Kritik (auch hier) sehr auf. Nie erlebte man eine solche Kritikunfähigkeit. Gäste zu beschimpfen und diesen immer wenig wohlwollend zu begegnen scheint hier Usus zu sein. Naja, vielleicht der Zeit geschuldet. Vielleicht aber auch einfach nur Arroganz und Überheblichkeit."

"Eine echte Entdeckung - auch wenn der Eingang erst mal abschreckend war, waren wir, sobald wir Gastraum und herrliche Terrasse mit blühendem Kirschbaum und Magnolie sahen, sehr angetan von diesem Ort etwas außerhalb von Trier. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 min hier und es lohnt sich. Überaus schmackhaftes Essen, große Portionen (auch wenn das an sich nicht ein wichtiges Kriterium ist, freut man sich darüber, wenn das Essen soooo lecker ist), kreative Küche, toll abgeschmeckte, bodenständige Gerichte. Hier beherrscht man die Kunst guter und nicht abgehobener Küche. Und die Weine waren ein Traum. Summa summarum: Hingehen!"

"Hmmm...bit of an odd one this. Near to the Porta Nigra and the Stadtmuseum and only seconds away from our rental apartment, we could have visited more often but I’m afraid some aspects were a little lacking. Our landlord recommended it as a nice place...to take a drink and its reputation was enhanced when we discovered that it had a large screen TV outdoors where we could watch the World Cup. What could go wrong? Well on the evening of our visit, the very hardworking waiter approached and we asked for the drinks menu. It arrived promptly and from it I selected a bottle of wine. My wife also said that she wouldn’t mind something light to nibble on as we drank it. So when the waiter returned, I ordered the wine and asked about the possibility of a small cheese plate to go with it. He said they had such and left to collect our order. On his return he apologetically explained that my wine choice was not available and began to list some alternatives. As soon as I heard the name “JJ Prüm” I was in a first rank producer. He returned with the wine and the mixed plate and we tucked in. The food wasn’t bad and for good value but it was a little strange. There was some soso Mozzarella and decent Brie in the cheese section, as well as a small amount of Parmesan on the rocket salad. The rest of the platter consisted of two tiny “bruschetta” and three accompanying sauces some sweet mustard, a dressing with what I took to be Balsamic vinegar and a strange tasting pesto which tasted less of basil and more of rocket. There were also a few olives and a bread basket but for it could have been worse. The wine was very, very good and when finished I asked if I could have an espresso and a grappa. The waiter left and again, apologised that they had no grappa, so I asked for some of the local “grappa” Trester which they also didn’t have. So to save further trips to the bar, I asked what did they have, and settled on a Williams. Coffee was decent though. I have to stress that the service from the waiter was excellent and he was really dashing about all evening it was a very busy night. We returned the next day for an espresso and was attended to by a young lady who seemed to be in a perpetual state of irritation. It didn’t impact on our coffee but it was interesting to watch. Everybody is entitled to a bad day I suppose but there are plenty of alternative places nearby where you can also get good coffee so the owners may want to bear this in mind. It was OK I suppose"
