"we booked the last available room as it was a busy weekend in worcester. we have requested an early check, where there was no problem for the administration. the room was an absolute joy. furnshing was in tune with the time property and the bathroom was a breathtaking new design. the entire anwesen was restored to a high standard. we had a light lunch, that was skurril, a hot pork cake and a cheese plate with a selection of excellent cheese. we had a nice night sleep and woke up to an breakfast ham containing fresh fruit, granola and croissants with jam. our total stay was 100% if we visit worcester regularly, we cannot wait to try some of the other rooms. well made the cardinal hat."

"We had pre-booked a function room for a gathering after a funeral. The size of the room was perfect for the number of people we had. The food provided was excellent and there was plenty for everyone. Despite the somber occasion, it was nice to be able to come together and share memories. It was convenient to have a small carpark at the back of the restaurant, which was adequate for our needs. We didn't feel pressured to leave and were able to take our time."

The team always greets us warmly and offers great advice on frames, mounts, and glass. Their framing has the ability to make even the most average print stand out. It is worth visiting for gifts and cards as well. There is outdoor seating available, making it a great coffee stop in Worcester. Supporting this local family-run business is highly recommended."

"How many cafes are open on a Sunday 9am til 3pm, as well as Wednesday to Saturday? For takeaways only during Covid. This gem of a little cafe is ideally situated next door to Gheluvelt Park in Worcester and an excellent place to pick up food drinks to enjoy for a picnic in the park. They do all day breakfasts, full Sunday lunch (preferably preorder or take your chance there will be some left! hot pork stuffing rolls (from 11.30am , freshly made sandwiches, ice cream cones, waffles pancakes and more. I only found this great cafe on Sunday 14th September, when my daughter I, with baby grandson in tow, were heading for a walk in the park on this hot day. Fancying a cold drink and something to eat picnicing in the park, we stopped here and were so glad we did. The couple running this cafe are lovely people and gave us a very warm welcome. Their young son was playing in the cafe and they served us over a small table set in the doorway, as the cafe is too small given social distancing limitations, hence takeaways only at this time. I wish them every success during this difficult period. We both ordered a homemade Elderflower Sparkle soft drink, made with elderflower, lemon and sparkling water, which came in generously sized cups with domed lids, filled to the very brim with added ice a slice too. I ordered a hot pork stuffing roll, while my daughter was tempted into trying a roast beef Sunday lunch. She was lucky enough to get one, as their Sunday lunches are very popular and it is usually wise to preorder yours in advance rather than face disappointment. After a nice chat while waiting a short while for our order, we received a bag with the food all wrapped in foil, with paper napkins plastic cutlery supplied and the drink cups in a cardboard holder. People came for ice cream cones while we were waiting. Off we went into the park to find a shadey spot for our picnic. My daughter's roast beef lunch was hot and a generous helping, served in a foil tray with Yorkshire puds in a bag and gravy in a tub. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal. My hot pork stuffing roll was a good size and filled with no fewer than four slices of pork and a generous helping of stuffing. Apple sauce and gravy had been offered but I didn't want them. I very much enjoyed this roll, while looking enviously at my daughter's full Sunday lunch. The ice cold Elderflower Sparkle drinks were really great and refreshing on this hot day. Prices were very reasonable. Finding this lovely little cafe run by this very welcoming couple is a great find and we will be back again. Ideal for refreshments to take into the park or home. We will have to try their waffles and pancakes too! Thoroughly recommended!!!"

"Well where do I start! The team at TBR are amazing. We did a Charity Gin Masterclass and had a fantastic night! Ross led the night and his knowledge of the gins was out of this world! Emily and Kyle helped play a huge part in the evening too and we can't thank everyone enough. The quality of all drinks as we had others after is brilliant. The cocktail menu is WOW, out of this world! Ross will adapt them if you ask and wil experiment for you. The food that we had was absolutely fantastic. The revamp of TBR is very modern and trendy, absolutely love it especially the cocktails and chill sign!! If you are wanting to have a gin tasting, cocktail master class, food or drink then I would defiantly recommend TBR! Once again thanks to Ross, Kyle and and Emily for a great night! Defiantly 100/10 I would give them I know I will certainly be back that's for sure Keep up the good work guys x"

"Booked a table for 4 on Saturday 24th August at 6:30pm. The welcome was fabulous and we were quickly shown to a lovely table. The restaurant area was well spaced making it feel open and uncrowded, even though they were very well attended. The staff were exceptional very efficient and always made sure that we were looked after and had everything that we needed. Despite our constant chatter and forgetting to read the menus, the staff were extremely patient and we did not feel rushed or pressured into making orders. Once we had ordered, the food cam in really good time. I had crab to start and my companions had scallops. All of it was perfect beautifully prepared and tasted wonderful. Our main courses arrived within good time also sea bass and chicken supreme. All of the food was absolutely wonderful and the service was brilliant. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Fabulous food, service and I thought it was really good value. Many thanks to all."

"We made a table reservation for wife's birthday. When we got there we couldn't find a table with our name plaque, it was a few minutes before we were approached and directed to the next free table. It was not reserved, was not very clean, no candle, no salt. It would be nice to come to a nicely prepped table especially that we booked it for special occasion. It was our first visit it would be beneficial to receive some sort of instruction from the staff who sat us down, as to if order by the bar or if we will be served, so we had to find out ourselves. The food was tasty and good, delivered promptly.The garden is fantastic. Staff kind and was working hard. The only problem was the garden is not fenced off and adjacent to the car park, so we had our hands full having to watch after out boy rather than relax in our seats..."

"when we arrived, there was parking on the grounds, which was beautiful. all staff were very friendly and welcoming. the pub is a beautiful small place. spacious and accessible. the prices are very good. free drink good to the times we went. has a separate frit for the vegan kitchen! both the paints we went the pub had a nice atmosphere, seemed clean, and smell good, no overwhelming stale beer / big smell. the food we had; jackfruit wedges were big, fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. the pulled jackfruit had a sweet bbq taste that worked really well with the wedges. buffalo flower cabbage wings are a great starter. that is a court that my partner and I love, and that was very good. the sauce would be better if she had more acid, like a traditional buffalo sauce. moving mountains burger cooked quite well, not pink in the middle, but was still very juicy and tender. the construction of the burger was stable and the ingredients inside were fresh and the bungalow tasted beautiful. serve the meal with a larger or steak knife would be good, so if they wish they can cut the burger in the half. the koleslaw was crisp, but it's not my thing, because I don't really like sweet chili sauce. the chips were perfectly cooked and delicious. I'd rather be vegan cheese on the burger rather than pulled jackfruit, but that's my favorite. vegan mayonnaise would be an amazing supplement! I love mayo with my chips and burgers. aubergine bake tasted like a pretty good ratatouille. the one we had was perfectly cooked, and the hazelnut crumbs was delicious. the garlic caabatta was a perfect companion. chocolate and cheese cake was rich and delicious. there was not much of a cherry taste, but was still very nice as a chocolate cheese cake. the vegan ice was extremely good. eis had a strong vanilla taste that worked well with the cheesecake. Jesus jam donut pudding was okay. I had little taste and found it quite dry and disappointing. the first time we went into the pub to eat the marstons vegan menu that was not good. I think this was that we were the first people to order one of the vegan dishes. parts of the courts were late or completely missed. the general manager got contact and expanded a offer for us when his guests come back to try the menu again and apologize for the previous experience. we were very happy that we were eating this time was delicious. they now seem to have a good understanding of the new menu. "group of 6 adults and 8 children went for my and my sons birthday. absolutely stunning eating, from solid well cooked burgers, to amazing kimchi (prepare to get it over their clothes! chicken wings to die for and cheese curds (sometimes I wouldn't order normally, but were served as a free dish due to the birthdays with an amazing little diving sauce. everything was cooked to the highest quality, fresh, high quality ingredients, good tasting and amazing filling. Drinks were not from craft beer, but tasty and enough different sorts for the adult, with many softdrinks for the children. it has a nice simple atmosphere, and the personal could not have done anymore. the waiter was really friendly, attentive, and what I really like is there is no cheated child menu. all on the adult menu they can have for the children, only smaller, and they were amazing how to cut the children exactly on how they want it (also so far, small pots of eating with each ingredient separately for a young baby who liked to eat it when they were weening . my sohn and I even got free brownies and ice cream (as it was our birthday, but who was generous, this is good out of the way in worcester, but the effort worth it. To be honest, I travel a lot about Europe and that's the best burger I had everywhere. can not recommend it enough. great value and will go again."

"our group only stopped for a few drinks, but will definitely go back as eating looked amazing. the staff was really polite and friendly and the service was fast. the venue was clean and well decorated, I really like the american south theme. there was even a small cinema room?! the garden had a small adventurous playground for children, many exteriors and some stands with a table and seating. we were blessed with good weather, so the garden was great. there was no sign of a codified social distancing action. directly at the entrance is a parking space and a short walk to the center of worcester. we will go back in the near future in any case."

Upon arrival room was in darkness when said had booked we had choice of sitting outside or the snug. We choose the snug as outside was beautify setting overlooking canal but inevitably smokers. Place was and remained quiet for a Saturday night and more drinkers than people eating. However the menu was great and very reasonably priced. Food cooked to order and could not fault meals. Well worth the money. Only choice of three desserts though which we did not try. Only one lady doing bar and restaurant serving so probably a good job wasnt too busy! But was very efficient and lovely. Beautiful settling overlooking the canal even from the snug with door open. Do hope the new manager can encourage more diners and reopen the larger dining room. Nevertheless worth a visit and good value for money."

Booking in advance is essential because the food is so good. The staff are lovely. "Nice food (albeit expensive) but unfortunately let down by horrendous customer service. Person who answered the phone should not be dealing with customers over the phone. Ordered delivery takeaway which arrived with an item missing. When I contacted the pub, their solution was either for me to come and collect it myself or to give my name so that I could have the item next time I ordered. No apology at all. Person on the telephone took my order number and advised they would call me back they did not call back. Suffice to say I will never be ordering from here again."

"Yesterday, I took my family out for lunch at this restaurant. It took us a bit of time to find the place, as it is located in a remote village just outside Droitwich. The pub has a large car park at the back and customers can enter through the back door and turn right into the bar. We opted to sit at a table in the bar rather than in the small restaurant. For starters, my mum had fried mushrooms, I had whitebait and squid, and my little one had prawns with Ciabatta bread. All the food was well prepared and gave us the impression of being in a more upscale restaurant. For the main course, we ordered Fish and Chips with mushy peas, a large brie and bacon sandwich with fries for me, and a 12 oz sirloin steak for my daughter. The dishes looked and tasted delicious, especially the perfectly cooked steak that my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. We washed it all down with a pint of ale for me and soft drinks for them. I am not sure about the cost as my mum paid, but overall we were very impressed. This is a great place to visit if you are looking for a nice lunch in the countryside."
