"Pessima esperienza. Mai mangiato cosi male in Toscana.

"Beautiful experience! I was looking for a fish restaurant in Tarquinia and here I found high quality fish and truly excellent cuisine, despite being in a historic center and in a non-summer period (end of November). Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat WELL! It also offers land dishes, but I liked something else and I was thrilled! I will definitely go back Food: 5"

"The definition of a hidden gem! Happened upon this place on our last night in Rome and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Very romantic, cozy spot, with excellent service, and authentic, delicious food to match. It’s tucked away in a quiet side street: a calm and intimate oasis amidst all the activity in Trastevere. We shared the Zucchini Flowers (filled with ricotta and shrimp – what a combo! , the Cacio E Pepe (had me drooling , and the Saltimbocca (the best I had during my stay in Rome – all were cooked perfectly and just oozed with flavour. Capped the evening off with an Amaro. What a genuine joy this place was. We simply can’t wait to return and have another meal here the next time we're in Rome!"

"After 5 days in Rome, this is definitely the best meal. I went with my family, 2 teenagers who are totally foodies, we were craving totally traditional Italian food. My gut instinct took me to this place. It was so delicious!!! I want to go back!! Everything is hand made in the house. The wine is excellent too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

Torneremo sicuramente!"

"Coming by chance as neighbors, we appreciated the very warm welcome from the 2 young waiters, we discovered the Roman artichokes there, and in retrospect, they were the best of the whole week! It was still cool in mid-March to enjoy the terrace in the evening but it is well located outside the passing routes, you can eat there in peace. Note, rather local clientele, which changes from the places referenced in the tourist guides where the atmosphere is rushed very often. Not much dessert besides ice cream but the homemade tiramisu is enough in itself. If I were to go back to Rome, this would be the first place I would eat! Vegetarian options: lots of cooked vegetables Wheelchair accessibility: full-length terrace"

"Being in the Kosher neighborhood, that is a reason alone to pay a visit. It is different instead of another church and more of the tourists. This area is a step away but still within grasp of being visited. Knowing of this, when in Rome we did want to visit for lunch. It was on the list. And this was a place to see as we heard it is one that has been on social media and used in other areas. So we went. It was ideal. We had all the especial in the area. Especially the best of fried Jewish Artichokes. This alone was worth the stop. It was large, fresh, had a good taste, and was worth the stop. It was ideal. We had that along with an order of mozzarela and tomatoes. That was followed by two different pastas. One with pesto that was freshly made that day. And a pasta with more artichoke leaves and olive oil. This was an excellent lunch. The price was fair for what we were to receive. It is an old-school formula and what you would expect. It was great to have the experience and to enjoy something a little different. Thank you."

"Insane value for your money. Everything we ordered was so delicious and well made. You cannot go wrong here. We had a table booked on Saturday night and even though it was very busy the service was friendly and the food came quick and hot. Artichokes both roman and fried were very delicious, main course with scampi and saltimbocca were spot on and don't get me started on the Panna cotta. Would have loved to come back here but they didn't open for dinner on our last day in Rome. Come and eat here!!! Vegetarian options: There vere several choices for people who don't eat meat or fish."

"Please do not try this place ! The lasagna was burnt from the sides and it tasted like Microwaved Lasagna. The meatloaf was the worst dish to order and the bread had a foul smell. You have to pay a service charge of 1.5 euros per person which doesnt make any sense given the service they are providing. This place somehow has very good reviews but its not even a decent enough place to eat. Service: Dine in"
"Very Roman cuisine, quite tasty. The artichokes are excellent, fried and golden, as are the Giudia style ones; delicious fettuccine alla gricia with broad beans; didn 't like the breaded lamb cutlets with artichokes (very small portion for the price and the cutlets were dry and flavourless). The zabaglione semifreddo is excellent, as are the very fresh strawberries. Service quite slow (only one waiter to serve many tables). Price: €40.00 per person for starter, first or second course, dessert, water and coffee."

"We were in Italy for 10 days. Ran across this place on our last day. Had lunch and it was the best meal we had eaten the whole time in Italy. So good we decided to come back for dinner, which was even better than lunch. For my American compatriots, please do not confuse the language barrier or the cultural differences for anything more than what they are. The staff is not rude, they do things differently in Italy than what you are used to. Most of the staff probably speaks better English than you speak Italian. So work it out whichever way possible. Between lunch and dinner we had the bruschetta pomodoro, spaghetti ajo e ojo, meatballs in tomato sauce, ravioli and the mixed grill. Each item better than the last. The house wine was delicious and the two servers we had were very nice and easily overcame the language differences. If you are in the neighborhood you should really give this place a try. "A beautiful surprise! How can we select restaurants in Rome today by calculating the infinite number of choices? We can choose with our heart (and with taste... . The home-baked bread, the atmosphere, and the chef's incredible attention to dishes and hospitality make this place unique. Needless to say about the quality of the ingredients....excellent! "I have traveled the world for work for 5 years now, and this is still one of my favorite recommendations to send people to! Il Ciociaro has an elegant, intimate atmosphere with top-notch cuisine to match. I crave their cacio e pepe on a regular basis. After visiting here several times and trying other places in Rome, their tiramisu is still the best I have ever tasted. It adds that they make dining such an experience with pasta alla ruota #cheesewheelpasta) and crafting your dessert before your eyes!"

"My wife and I discovered this beautiful restaurant almost by chance. The location is not very big but nice. The menu offers very tasty land and sea dishes. We had a very rich and tasty seafood appetizer. As a first course we recommend the fettuccine all'ammiraglia (a revisited fisherman's dish) which is really good and as a truly special dessert is the baba' served with ricotta and chopped pistachios, mouth-watering. In addition to the dishes that really satisfied us, the real gem is Mr. Mario, the owner, who welcomed us, advised us and pampered us, in a discreet way, throughout the evening. Highly recommended"

"Upon entering you have the idea of a typical Tuscan tavern. Tables very very close to each other...Too much. Quick service. The menu is uncomfortable... even bigger than the table. It was uncomfortable to look at it due to its size and too closeness to the adjacent tables. The setting is very nice: typical checkered tablecloth and red wine whistle! Both the waiter and the boy who gave us the bill were very nice and welcoming. Osteria very close to one of the most beautiful squares in Lucca.
