"Reluctantly (because my Dar bottarolo experiences in other locations have always been positive) unfortunately I put this review on this specific restaurant for a more than negative experience! Starter that does not reflect the usual one in the various outlets of the same name: 4 slices of Hungarian salami 2 triangles of pecorino cheese 1 bowl of beans in a tin served with preservation liquid. The first two were good, but unfortunately the second courses were horrendous, I can 't judge the chicken as I haven 't tried it. Sitting in a room we were forbidden to occupy a specific table that had a carpet under it and then find out where the sewage smell was coming from!! We leave the restaurant turning to the cashier who gives a bill of around 25 euros per person! When asking for explanations as to why I didn 't pay €19.90 given that the method I chose was the pos. I was told that it was a new restaurant that had previously been under different management and they were adopting this system because they were getting people used to paying less. What??? Absurd and non-logical answer. I conclude with the young lady who took the order and who is at the reservations and then at the checkout, with chewing gum in her mouth and I won 't comment on her further. The only positive note??? The waitress of foreign origin."

"Esperienza complessivamente nella media. Non è l'ostaria tradizionale modenese, ma piuttosto un ristorante moderno che propone cibo tradizionale. Abbiamo ordinato un tris di primi con risotto, tortelloni e tagliatelle al ragù. Il risotto non era affatto un risotto, non era abbastanza cremoso (anche se era ben cotto) e hanno usato glassa di aceto balsamico invece del tradizionale aceto balsamico. I tortelloni erano accettabili, ma avevano un leggero sapore di amaretto che non si abbina con la ricotta e spinaci, ma con quelli di zucca, quindi probabilmente c'è stata qualche contaminazione durante la preparazione tra i due. Le tagliatelle erano discreti, ma ho mangiato ragù migliori. Successivamente abbiamo preso gnocco e tigelle, che erano di nuovo nella media, niente di speciale, con lo gnocco un po' spesso. Nel menu era indicata anche una selezione di marmellate che non è mai arrivata. I dolci erano di nuovo accettabili, ma niente da ricordare, come il vino Lambrusco che abbiamo scelto. Prezzo 30€ a testa, direi ragionevole, forse un po’ alto. In conclusione, non tornerei a mangiare cibo tradizionale in questo ristorante, poiché ce ne sono di molto migliori nel nostro territorio."

"Ristorante/pizzeria sito nel centro storico di montefusco. Location carina e accogliente con due sale interne. Da quest'anno in estate hanno anche tavoli all'esterno, ottimi per le serate calde. Ottima la pizza, ottima la pasta e il condimento. Ottimi anche i fritti, dalle patatine agli arancini. Forse unica pecca le montanare, non mi hanno fatto impazzire. Ottimo anche il ristorante, dai primi ai secondi (a base di carne) c'è veramente l'imbarazzo della scelta. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Cortesi e disponibili i proprietari."

"Do not be misled. This is NOT Pasta Urbana. That good restaurant is a few doors down the street. This Taverna Urbana is a mediocre restaurant with meh food. They just served me waterlogged veggies, supposedly stir-fried, a small plate of just-ok ravioli, STALE bread, and a really poor half bottle of montepulciano wine. Never again. "You cannot give less than one star, otherwise it would be 0 stars. Pitiful home-made appetizer (20 euros) some fried food found on the frozen counter in the supermarket 2 panzerotti which had nothing of a Neapolitan panzerotto 1 low quality mozzarella from the supermarket (and we are in the country of mozzarella) and some pan-fried octopus , perhaps the only passable thing about lunch. The wine was poor, but the water was good. While waiting for the dish of the day (spaghetti with octopus) it starts raining, the waiter moves the table a little because the tent is not in the best conditions and it was raining right on the table, however he didn 't move us enough because the drops went away ending up on the jacket that I had hanging on the chair and I didn 't notice, the result was a jacket soaked in water. Let 's hope for the first course..... In the country of pasta I was expecting at least a decent first course, nothing to do, spaghetti too al dente seasoned with cherry tomatoes and on the plate they put 2/3 little octopus, practically a tomato pasta with octopus decoration. We see some dishes being sent to a table ahead and the preparations are... Let 's say the service is different ... never mind, could it be due to our non-local accent?. Summary 1 poor starter, 2 first courses also of low quality 1/2 liter of wine water total 60 euros. We will never go back again and I strongly advise against patrons. I happened to eat...badly...but never like that"

"It's a lively and fun store with great service. We ate on the terrace. Puntarelle had a little too much sauce and was salty. The vegetable and fish frites came out piping hot and were very delicious. Carbonara is quite large. Polpette was served with bianco and frito, which was unusual as it was my first time eating it.
