"We were there for lunch. At the best late summer weather we took place in the beautiful beer garden. After the friendly welcome, the cards were quickly distributed and a recommendation for the daily menu was also pronounced. We then decided that with €21, it was more favorable, as we had to find after the meal. 1. Gang a pumpkin cream soup somewhat sneaky but tastefully in order 2. Gang bad onion roast with vegetables of the season the meat was wonderfully cooked and of the best quality. The vegetables were cooked to the point slightly bite-resistant. the 2nd Gang an absolute highlight 3. Gang an ice cream with homemade zimpflaumen compote with fresh plums a heavenly pleasure. The wines offered come from the Britzingens wine cooperative and from a self-marketer very good Nieveau and reasonably priced. We will return next year to the conclusion of the most refined hospitality."

"in our holiday we met with related in lions. After we had taken the ticket at our reserved table in the next room and we had taken the ticket, it took almost 20 minutes until we could give up the order. if I had been alone, I would have left the restaurant after 15 minutes. I had a really good brainshot and we shared a bottle of late burgunder of the local weinguts firestone. in lions you put worth on local weep, which I find very good. Nevertheless, due to the little attention services remained a slightly fadery aftertaste. in local in this price range you can expect more."

"Die Käsestube ist ein absolut bezaubernder Ort. Bereits das kleine Städtchen Staufen lädt zu romantischen Stündchen ein, aber das man hier noch so wunderbar den Abend ausklingen lassen kann, hat Seltenheitswert. Trotz der vereinzelt kritischen Kommentare haben wir uns für dieses Lokal entschieden; die meiste Kritik halten wir für sehr verfehlt. Wir hatten zu Beginn einen Aperitif. Meine Freundin hatte einen Secco mit gefrorenen Waldbeeren, Holunderbeersirup und Soda, ich einen schön bitteren Vermouth mit gutem Tonic. Beides zusammen hat 10 Euro gekostet, aber es war so gut, dass wir nach dem Dessert nochmal jeweils einen bestellt haben; hätten wir noch etwas in unserem Magen bekommen, hätten wir auch nochmal Essen bestellt. Die Vorspeise könnten wir wegen der vielen Tapas variantenreich bestellen. Beim Salat merkt man einfach, dass die Produkte frisch und hochwertig sind. Für mich gab es Patatas Frittas mit einer sehr sehr geilen Aioli. Hauptgang waren ein Käsefondue mit Steinpilzen (nicht auf der Karte, da saisonal) und eines mit Speck. Das mit Steinpilzen war besonders gut! Meins war auch sehr gut, aber für meine Freundin etwas zu betrunken :). Den Käse konnten wir uns sogar extra für Silvester kaufen und das ganze heute nochmal nachmachen. Zum Essen gab es einen Wein. Meine Freundin hat auf Wunsch ein Achtel erhalten, ich habe ein Viertele genommen.Zum Nachtisch gab es Zimt- und Vanilleeis sowie ein Schokoladentörtchen mit Vanilleeis. Beides war absolut köstlich. Ein Espresso und die eben angesprochenen Aperitivo haben den ganzen Abend abgerundet. Preislich lagen wir mit Getränken bei ca. 100 Euro. Angesichts der Produkte und des Flairs ist dies aber angemessen und wir haben schon deutlich teurer und zugleich schlechter gegessen. Das Personal war außerdem super freundlich und aufmerksam. Die etwas langen Wartezeiten haben den Abend auch nicht geschadet; wir wollten schließlich auch Zeit für uns haben und nicht nur essen. Zum Valentinstag kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder :)"
