70 Quai des Gourmets

The food (steak de thon sce vierge and tagliatelles carbonara) tasted good and well presented. We were sitting outside bur the rain didn't effect our meal.

Booked for dinner in perfect location on quay. Balmy evening for relaxing meal. Food was reasonable but service was erratic at best. Courses delivered in disjointed manner and couldn't even bring water requested. Pity as ruined experience.

Good menu catering for a wide variety of tastes. Need to be early for a harbour side table but anywhere is good.Service prompt and friendly.Difficult to find the ideal restaurant among so many at Honfleur but this is a very good bet worth more than a look.

We ordered Schweppes Citron, a plate of limp fries, and soupe de poissons (fish soup). Tab was euros. Nothing to write home about...and service was poor. The server clearly didn't like her job. Recommend avoiding this restaurant you're paying for the...view.

Stopped here for lunch on a family day out to Honfleur. The staff were very friendly, English not great, but it didn't matter. We chose the set menu which was good value and the food was excellent, probably the best we had during our trip to France. There are probably better restaurants around the harbour but there is nothing wrong with this one.

My wife and I went here for lunch on a day trip to Honfleur. Seemed quite busy but the service was friendly and efficient. I had fillet of cod with vegetables (ratatouille) and my wife had moules a la creme. Both dishes were hot tasty and we'll presented. With a beer and a half, tax and tip the bill came to about 40 euros. Not cheap but not too out of the way. I would go again.

Stopped on a day trip to this nice little town. Chose this restaurant as it was in a nice spot, and also they had pasta as well as French dishes, keeping kids and adults happy. Pasta dishes were disappointing - really oily and rather bland in taste. Staff were variable - some friendly, some not so, but one managed to spill a bottle of coca cola over my daughter (and he didn't apologise, in French or English). Didn't stay for dessert as we couldn't afford the cleaning bill!

Went here for an early dinner with the family. Waitress got the order wrong (children's meal came with chips instead of pasta) and seemed to charge more for it than an adult meal. Rest of the food was OK, meat was nothing special and drinks extremely expensive (€6 for a small kids juice), a really great apple tart was the standout dish whilst the chocolate mousse hadn't set yet. Very slow service, owner was busy drinking with friends whilst a poor waitress had to deal with everyone. Whilst it has a great view across the harbour, it's not got much else going for it given the competition elsewhere. I'd try somewhere else.

Apart from a great view, this is to be avoided at all costs. Staff who really could not care less in the slightest if they tried, food that is really nasty. I guess repeat business is not their business model I can't believe anyone in their right mind would come here twice, expensive ****, As a family we eat out a lot and I can honestly say that it is my worst dining exeperince I have ever had anywhere in the world appalling is the only word I can use, from the toughest piece of meat I have tasted to a coque st jacques which was nothing at like it in the slightest to horrible Dutch mass produced fries that were just foul, I could go on....If you want to visit the worst restaurant in Honfleur...
