"Very good address on Honfleur. A place that cuts us from time and makes us do a good in the old days. Very nice concept, oldschool music, antique decor, history of the place and Grandma Louise to discover on the map, home cuisine from A to Z. Here you will find a map only of Burger fries, there is a Burger Vegetarian, a chicken, a pork and others with beef, with cheeses from the region (both with the bishop and others, homemade fries and mayonnaise sauce and type of ketchup also raised home. You will also find on the menu of homemade iced tea, beers, wine and other drinks. There are also homemade desserts (chocolate melting, cheescake, oreo tiramisu, chocolate mousse ... . "We chose this restaurant this noon. And as all the reviews indicate this restaurant is really very well. Her burgers are excellent married to fresh products. Very good meat (for me bleeding) and golden fries. For the burgers' unconditionals... go ahead with your eyes closed. The child meal is made home with real chicken pieces. Salade also at the top"

"Doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is warm and inviting. NOT your average pizza joint. Drinks had us with a Cidre Fermeir Brut and a glass of house Merlot. Didn't try the Merlot, but the Cider from Christian Bellin was very good. Our dinner started with an entree of foie gras, toast points, black pepper, and onion marmelade. Very decacdant. Melted in my mouth. I had veal scallopini ala marsala with a spaghetti side. This was done well, but could have had more mushrooms for my taste. The pasta was cooked perfect. My friend had beef lasagne, which had a very interesting and unusual, but delicious herb profile--hint of thyme? Rosemary? We were given fresh grated Parmesan for our dishes. Very subtle and very well done. Dessert was Creme Brulee--made in-house. Superb. A digestif of Christian Bellin Calvados on-the-house was the perfect end to our meal. The service by a very pleasant Maricife was professional and friendly. Total for the bill was 71 Euros. I will come back. Especially with all the mediocre tourist spots selling poor food at expensive prices in this town. Amoretti wins for ambiance, service, originality, and taste. Well done folks!"

"We went to this restaurant last Saturday, 1st October.We walked in and waited for a waiter to show us where to sit, we waited almost 5 mins, when the waiter finally showed us to a table, it was one in the back area near the toilets.The crockery looked very nice on the table, but we noticed it was dusty, so, we wiped the plates over with our napkins, and when we looked at our napkins there was a fair bit of black on them. We then wiped our cutlery and again there was black smudges on our knives and forks, and again we wiped out our wine glasses, yes to more black marks.We continued to wait for a waiter to bring over a menu, it never happened, we waited around 10 mins, trying to catch the eye of one of the waiters, but they never made eye contact.We decided then we'd go elsewhere, so up we got and pottered out.The so called service was awful, and the tableware was worse, wont go back here again."

"My sister and I had dinner at La Tortue on May 2, and it was among the best meals that we had during our 2-week holiday in Normandy. I started with a creamy foi gras with fig and apple chutney. My sister skipped the entree. Before our plats were delivered, they gave each of us a shot glass with calvados "soup" with cinnamon. Amazing! My sister then had steak served over mashed potatoes and butternut squash, with some interspersed veggies and a balsamic glaze drizzled over everything. My plat was the same except with duck breast braised in apple cider. Yum! The piece de resistance was baked apples in a filo dough alongside vanilla and bourbon ice cream served on a sea of caramel sauce. Words fail me.... A lovely, inexpensive Cote du Rhone (from Chateau Saint Roman 2014) was among the best Cote du Rhones that I've had and complemented everything perfectly.The restaurant itself is cozy and warm, and there were several local residents eating there that night, always a good sign in my book. The service was friendly, prompt, and inconspicuous, and I loved that the food incorporated Normandy specialties. (I wish they added the calvados soup with cinnamon to the menu proper!)We had this meal near the beginning of our Normandy holiday, and we expected to have many such wonderful meals in the days to come. This one, however, turned out to be among the best of our trip."
