The place is nice and the boss is also friendly. Meat is delicious and reasonable prices. a very good address on epinal. a second visit just as pleasant!

We went for dinner on our first evening in the region. Very good food and wine. Very friendly service. The owner of the restaurant has a great sense of humour :-)

Had been looking forward to this, but walked away slightly disappointed. Had the Cote de boeuf, ordered medium rare, and it was a bit undercooked and not very tender. Had expected more, but the Vieux Telegraph accompanying the steak was outstanding.

Visited here many times with work colleagues, they catered for all of us, even the middle eastern guys who wanted their steaks well done, clearly not the usual here! My medium rare steaks were up there with any in good I've had across the globe....Highly recommended.

charming boss, nice service, but this time this beef fillet full of nerves..damage.I should have returned the meat...I had the tip of the impossible net before cutting to the knife.. but last time we had a very good time..I will then close. and return my dish if the meat is not good. friendly setting and pleasant terrace, the service is appreciable and rather reactive. The meat is good but without being exceptional. prices are high enough on some products. a sauce with the added bits will cost you the modest sum of 10 euros .restaurant pleasant for business dinners but I would advise other establishments based on the ratio of quality / price.

Been at this restaurant a few times with my work colleagues and for us it was the best choice if we wanted a very good steak. It doesn't really matter what start you choose as long as it is a very small one. Because the...steak will get your attention. I usually have the filet de boeuf. It is good size and the meat is great. Remember you are in France so rare means... very rare. I take mine medium rare. Try the cotes d'agneau (lamb chops) as well. Perfectly cooked. But if you really want to get out of the ordinary go for Cote de Boeuf. This is a 1kg piece of meat that you will need a friend to help you with it. It is very, very good. Overall, a very nice restaurant with a great steak. Enjoy!

This was our group’s first night looking to eat in Epinal we came to Cote de Boeuf on recommendation. It did not disappoint! The waiting staff were friendly and attentive. The menu was easy to understand and the selection of drinks was plentiful. I chose...a 380g Rib Eye Steak, it came served with skin on potato wedges and and side of seasonal ratatouille which was a meal in itself. The only piece of advice I would offer is to order one preference above your normal choice. I usually prefer rare meat and I asked for medium rare, I had to return my steak to ask for it to be cooked medium as it was on the blue side of rare initially.
