When we voiced our dissatisfaction, we were offered only one complimentary cup of coffee, which felt like an inadequate gesture given that our total bill was over £150. The roast chicken was slightly tough. The rhubarb ice cream appeared to have been thawed and refrozen. The carrots were too firm and not suitable for consumption.

The restaurant had a good location, but the food was bland and poorly cooked. The service was decent, but not exceptional. Overall, it was a disappointing and overpriced experience. I don't understand how it received such a high rating on this app.

Booked for a birthday treat and was slightly disappointed, the service was great but minor things let it down. Sandwiches were dry on top pointing to not being freshly made, not enough cutlery and chipped milk jug. The desserts were also disappointing lack of variety. I had mentioned on the booking it was for a birthday but no mention was made. The meat board was the best thing on offer. Shame really was expecting it to be so much nicer.
