"Went here for a mother’s day lunch and was very pleasantly surprised at just how lovely everything was. The decor was lovely, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. A three course Sunday lunch with all the trimmings, good portions and great choice for around £19 a head. Wonderful. We will go back for Sunday lunch without hesitation. Thanks for a lovely day."

The food and service were very good However the web site showed a restaurant with a much nicer ambience, as expected in an hotel, just the difference of no table cloths made it more cafe than restaurant .

Food and staff were excellent. Could have done with more employees at busy times, and the rug would have done with a hoover at the end of the evening, as there were still food on him and the seating when we went to breakfast.

We both had Parma ham wrapped asparagus with poached egg. It was nice, we both agreed that it was one of the most beautiful starters we ever had. The Mains were both very good. The restaurant is very cozy with a beautiful view from most windows. Our table looked at a shed that didn't spoil anything, but for the sake of the ambience I would have moved it.

The food was of very high quality, although it was from the solid menu, we have dined as part of a groupon coupon stay. The hotel was pretty busy for the time of the year especially couples, but it didn’t seem to be many employees that the lady receptionist ended with supplying food and clearing tables to help employees. Overall it was a pleasant experience
