"I love the céviche bars and I might expect too much of it....We have taken the peru céviche: lack of flavors, not enough liquid (the tiger'sche, etc., a céviche normally bathes in the liquid...coriandre to the count drop.Café gourmand pas mal....Sinon personnel très sympa, place très prisé beaucoup de monde, assez bruy. So my opinion is a little bit mixed!"

"So you've been in France for a few weeks and you've quickly realised that the coffee is absolutely rubbish everywhere. So when you pull into the pretty little village called Guethary on the Cote Basque you think that you have absolutely no chance of a half decent brew. Prepare to be surprised! I am happy to report that Providence delivers the goods. The barista there today admitted that she was still improving her milk frothing, but I thought her cappuccino was spot on. This definitely beat any other coffee I've had in this part of the world and I intend to be propping up their bar for the rest of the time I am here."

"were very disappointed with the cooking of the meat that was served us blue while we asked it to be bleeding. They took it back, but without great success. hot. but blue. the waiter, sympathetic to the rest but a little familiar, gratified us with a "ah you love him bleeding? I prefer it blue"!. how to tell you?. yes, we prefer it bleeding. as when the ordering of the next table that wanted a rib of beef to the point, the boss replied "yes la, I'm going to get groned by the kitchen"!. No, but we're dreaming here, we can still choose the cooking of his red meat, right? Otherwise, we open a butcher shop and not a restaurant. In short, we will not return and encourage this restaurant to be more attentive to their guests in cooking."

"This place is an amazing concept and a beautiful idea- home made sauces, fresh produce with customised tacos, burgers and salads. My boyfriend and I were so excited to try the menu, aware our French is limited but doing our best with it, we met...a frosty reception where the guy taking our order (an owner) began sighing and rolling his eyes despite us politely asking for a table and making our order which was done by filling out a form. No problem really, we understand adjusting to limited French/English can be irritating. He brings our tacos out, slams them on the table and again, we kind of thought “amazing tacos, bad customer service, we’ll take it.” Midway through eating, mine were veggie steak (which were amazing to be fair) and he had ceviche however turns out his tacos didn’t have any ceviche in them. Again, no problem, this happens BUT when we are the only two customers ordering at that time, filling out a form personally, it’s a bit strange. A big mistake such as leaving out the main ingredient and having someone scowling at you the whole time somehow becomes less forgiving. I told the owner and he comes out to investigate, looking at the taco and then asking my boyfriend if he knew what ceviche was (patronising anyway when he’s ordered, but he’s a career chef who has prepared ceviche tacos himself...even then a lot of people know what it is). The chef forgot we were told, the tacos were free and no replacement offered or any apology. I think the main thing is personally, my food was delicious and as ordered but I felt so uncomfortable as a paying customer that in the middle of the meal I couldn’t enjoy it for what it was. So if you don’t want customers in your restaurant for whatever reason maybe don’t seat them passive aggressively and let them move on, I would have preferred so. And if you pride yourself on how everything is home made and fresh, that’s great but put the main ingredient in the taco also because, that’s pretty essential."

"I come from Norway and live in Stavanger, and it's too bad we don't have any similar fish bar to this one there. Since we had a heavy Basque lunch (good) and pre-dinner drinks with 2 small tapas, we wanted a light dinner. Came across this tiny gem of a place run by a Danish lady. Delicious fish tapas dishes, with Nordic techniques (smoked shrimps, cured makrell). Highly recommended. Book in advance as it's a tiny bar. Natural and organic wine."
