Aussen pfui, innen hui... Sehr schöne geräumige Zimmer, auch das hauseigene Restaurant ist zu empfehlen.

Sehr sauber und komplett neu gemacht im 6. Stock eines etwas älteren Gebäudes. Nicht vom Äusseren täuschen lassen. Tolles Frühstück, leider im Keller ohne Fenster.

Feines Lachstartar mit Qucamole hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt! Ravioli mit Frischkäse und gedämpften Birnen tolle Kombination. Ein Lob an Küche auch der Service war tadellos! Weiter so Visualizza piatti

Best rooms in the last 10 years. Very very very confortable! I think this hotel is a real 11/10. Don't decide looking at the exterior. Orange juice is not natural but it's not bad. Service is good.

Excellent location and a lovely, clean, beautifully presented, modern room at back of hotel (so it was quiet). Breakfast was good (despite staff issues on the day, for which the duty manager apologised). Location is perfect for the Via Gottardo too. And the staff were helpful, friendly and polite. Recommended! One of our favourite hotels from a five-week walk across Switzerland.

a family lover for years, a little demolished. After entering the hotel, they still have to make their way back where a wood stove and a professional pizzaiolo wait. large selection of pizzas, perfectly prepared. the pizzas are aligned to a local amount that is very hard in their reviews and the pizzeria is full every night. service is very professional, with 'old hands' show that serving is a real profession executed with passion. the hotel sold its room twice! we booked a room for a weekend, but our kid fell sick, so we had to cancel the stay short term. The hotel demanded to pay them one night. We would be fine with it, if the room would have stayed un-sold and the hotel lost money. But the room was sold again, so we did not see the point why the hotel should charge double for the same room. Rally unprofessional and greedy, so would not recommend to stay there to anybody.

since I arrived quite late in mendrisio, I could only use the pizzeria services of this restaurant. I ordered a pizza tessin, with pieces lakanighette (local sausage), which I wash down with a glass of local white wine. the pizza and wein were impeccable. I have paid the whole with the addition of a water bottle, 30 chf. what I thought was the upper limit of normal, also in relation to the Swiss prices (that could be a reason for an average rating). friendly and quick service.

This hotel is exceeding my expectations, especially after the previous B&B Great location, right at the railway station, but quiet enough. Looks new and modern inside. Very clean, nice new furniture, everything works, all in order. Big shower, all super clean. Big comfy bed, pillows. Nice paintings, adding some brightness and mood. Great views, big windows, with shutters. Air conditioning works great and you can change it all or turn it off. Breakfast is nice, fresh and tasty. The choice not big, but definitely enough. Service is nice and fast. Don't forget to get your free Ticino ticket if you need it. There's a nice restaurant in the hotel, but they served only pizza Sunday evening, which... Visualizza piatti
