After shopping in Dumont Carré here on an espresso, it's almost a duty for me. I like the café and the people there, a little WDR and otherwise just cool nice Cologne.

What an experience! Michelin star hotel, brilliant service and food to die for. No menus as such, you just get to choose from a few dishes which are elegantly explained to you by the waiter. Great wine list

Alfredo is definitely the best Italian food we had on our trip to Europe. Scallop and prawn starters were amazing, followed by rack of lamb that was simply divine. Just don't expect spaghetti bolognese at this fine dining place! Expensive, but in every way a...perfect dinner

Now I don't think I'm a long-term guest at Dumontcarré and if I have another destination for the coffee break, but it's not really worth driving another distant location. You can see that when you see Alfredo Caffé: It is very welcoming and clear italian, that basically means always good coffee and because people here are very nice, you feel good as an aftershopping coffee if you are even here.

Very disappointed. I can’t judge on the food because we left before ordering any. We arrived on time, got a bad table right next to the kitchen’s door. Nice to ear the waiters laughing out loud from behind. Then we got advised that it was...only a tasting menu of course this was not mentioned over the phone. A list of meals was given without any prices. I personally like to know the prices of what I am paying for. Although the staff was respectful and nice, the whole experience was a huge fail. Did not worth the taxi to come. No apologies were made
