"Lucerne is a an expensive place so how pleasant to find a relaxed vibe and reasonable prices right beside the lion statue, so an added bonus was watching large groups being marched in to see the statue and marched out again on a strict timetable what a shame they couldn’t stop for a beer. But pick your moment and the statue is really worth a visit incredibly powerful if you know the background."

Aufmerksamer und netter Service. Feines Essen und die Spezial Anlässe - mal Austern, mal Tartar, mal Eggs Benedict!!!! Spitze! Sollte man mal vorbeischauen und sich selber ein Bild davon machen!!

Was below my expectations. I would have expected much more in this fantastic location. The food is very, very special and didn't taste good. Attention, pictures online can come from events, these dishes are not normally available. It wasn't just us. PS: the answer is not particularly professional...

Ein Kaffeehaus, das seinen Namen noch verdient. Das Lokal ist klein und gemütlich. Im Sommer kann man auf Bistrotstühlen draussen sitzen und Richtung Löwendenkmal schauen. Der Kaffee wird vom Barista zubereitet. Verschiedene Tageszeitungen sind auch vorhanden. Einzig schade, dass die Gipfeli (manchmal) aufgebacken, also nicht frisch sind.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre, freundliche Mitarbeiter! Ein Abstecher ins Alpi lohnt sich immer wieder. Sei es zum z'Mittag, zum Kaffee oder Abendessen! TOP! Preis/Leistung ist angemessen! Für den kleinen Hunger unbedingt die Ciabatta Jungfraujoch probieren...himmlisch! Ansonsten auf gar keinen Fall den Big Bang Burger oder das Katerfrühstück verpassen. Weiter so!

In the midst of one of the most crowded tourist attraction is a little cafe that is however mainly frequented by those who have heard its fabulous reputation. Being an absolute coffee snob, finding a good cup while Town is always difficult. Alpineum never fails to live up to the task. Best coffee and every now and again they have a pretty mean slice of cake on offer too!
