"We visited this restaurant with friends on Friday night. Our German friends had reserved and I advise you to do this. The service was very good as soon as you go in you are great and taken to your table. where given time to choose from the menu and a beverage order was taken quickly. I had steak that was cooked for perfection with a large salad that was well penetrated and fresh. The steak melts in my mouth. The table was immediately clarified and we asked if we wanted drinks. worth a visit if you're in the area. many parking spaces available on the street. the table is yours for the night."

"Das La Fontana ist in unserem Heimatort sehr beliebt, weswegen ich mich entschied, dort meinen Geburtstag in kleiner Runde ausklingen zu lassen.Kurz und knapp: Meine Erwartungen aus Erzählungen wurden übertroffen. Alle 13 Gäste meiner überschaubaren Geburtstagsrunde waren absolut begeistert von Ihrem Essen und noch erfreuter über den überraschend fairen Preis. Auf Empfehlung hatte ich die hausgemachten schwarzen Tagliatelle mit Filetstreifen - ein absolutes Gedicht!Anlässlich meines Geburtstages gab es zusätzlich noch den einen oder anderen Drink aufs Haus. Seit meinem ersten Besuch sind wir regelmäßig dort und ich war bis jetzt immer vollends zufrieden und glücklich! Top Service - Top Essen - Top Preis!"

"Mein Sohn meinte, als er mich in der Reha besucht hatte, du Papa da unten war ein Restaurant mit einem Motorrad, da möchte ich hin zum Essen. Also haben wir uns Sonntagsmittags auf den Weg dorthin gemacht. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, mit genügend Auswahl. Wir waren insgesamt an 4 Sonntagen dort gewesen und an keinem Tag war auch nur eine Kleinigkeit auszusetzen. Das Essen egal ob Steak, Pommes, Schnitzel oder sonstiges waren immer perfekt zubereitet. Auch das man sich immer zu jedem Gericht an der Salatbar bedienen konnte. Der Salat sah immer ansprechend aus. Der Gastraum war sauber und alle Tische immer eingedeckt. Das Personal war immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Den Biergarten kann ich nicht beurteilen da ich persönlich nie dort war, aber soviele Motorradfahrer wie dort waren kann es dort auch nicht schlecht sein."

"Let me say upfront that this restaurant is quoted diamonds out of in the Varta restaurant guide. So we went with high expectations. Should at least have been Michelin BIB quality? Outside a nice mansion-like house, nice lighting, terrace etc. Cosy interior, cuddily...heated ..... warm welcome. Breathes the air of a gourmet temple. Other than à la carte the card showed one, three course menu at Ok, not expensive, but since the map showed very traditional plates too, apparantly not different from the ones on the menu, I thought: hmm, let's see what they can do for this amount And so, we took it. But it appeared they could not do much. First, came kinds of bread and different spreads on the side, nice. Then, for first course, a fresh salad accompagnied amongst other things, by raw quartered tomatoes, lukewarm asparagus and strawberrys. It felt like back in the Nouvelle cuisine, you still know? Main, a so called mediterranean braised lam leg, with green beans, braised tomatoe, an indifferent sauce, probably thickened with starch and some gratiné potatoes. Then a vanilla panacotta with strawberry and rubarb sauce. Well, honestly, these courses were not more than just correct home cooking. I can do better at my home and I'm not a chef. Coffee and thea, were accompagnied by minuscule biscuit. Ok, I admit, what can you expect for Still, I would gladly have spent some more for a more elaborate meal. Is Varta is to blame? Or is the crisis so big in Germany .....? Or was the chef out of inspiration? And also IMHO, houses like this one should not downsize on the quality and offer meals at a lower price in the hope to attract more customers. First they will scare away the real gourmets. And secondly, the other eaters will not come either, since they will not go to a gourmet institute anyway. Proof: other than us, there was nobody in the restaurant. Almost forgot: nice winelist, mostly German, but also a very well thought choice of French and Italian ones. It starts at but can also be taken by the glass."

"Wir waren zum Hochzeitstag dort. Ich hatte den Tisch reserviert und er war extra Dekoriert. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Getränke kamen zügig. Die bestellten Vorspeisen Tomatensuppe und Champignons) haben uns schon mal gut geschmeckt. Als Hauptgang hatten wir die Steakplatte für 2 Persohnen mit rar gebratennem Fleisch. Auch ein umbestellen auf das Pfannengemüse war kein Problem. Das Fleisch war hervorragend gebraten und in Streifen geschnittem. Das Gemüse war seht lecker, bis auf die Aubergine. Den Nachtisch heben wir uns geschenkt und namen einen Espresso und einen Trester. Im Nachgang fragte der Kellner, ob wir noch einen Sliwowitz probieren möchten. Der war richtig Klasse. Das alte Restaurant Am Kamin , war gut und gut Bürgerliche Küche, aber die Transformation in das Steakhaus ist gelungen. Wir kommen wieder. Reservieren ist empfohlen."
