Food okay but nothing extraordinary. We had to wait over an hour for the food. Nice waiters. The potato snaps was very good though!

Für ein paar Tage in Wernigerode haben wir auch dieses Restaurant besucht. Ein sehr rustikales Haus - passend zu Wernigerode. Das Essen war reichlich und qualitativ überragend, die Bedienung war zuvorkommend, flott und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

This restaurant is located in a beautiful location and a beautiful building. The menu is quite diverse with German and local dishes. I have the daily special that was a very small steak and a little bigger calf steak. Steak was so hard that I almost couldn't eat it. The calves were delicious. But the baked potato was the best. Wife had a Greek dish that was good, but the meat was too good.

Fin restaurant, som også har udendørs servering. På menukortet kan du både få mange retter, hvor kartoflen i mange varianter er hovedingrediensen, men naturligvis også kød- og fiskeretter, hvor kartoflen er tilbehøret. Vin- og ølkort kan man studere på en stor flaske, der står midt på bordet. Lidt svært at læse efter vores mening, men det er da et sjovt alternativ. Maden var veltillavet og smagte fint. Wir waren an einem Samstag, später Nachmittag dort und bestellten Pfifferlingschnitzel von der Tageskarte. Das Essen kam schon nach vier(!) Minuten, ungefähr zeitgleich mit den Getränken. Das Schnitzel und der Salat waren nicht gut, die Pfifferlinge ok, es fehlte aber eine Sauce. Das Gericht war äußerst lieblos angerichtet. Die Tischdecke (gummiertes Kunststoffgeflecht) war schmutzig. Aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen hier waren wir dort. Deshalb ist es uns wichtig selbst eine Bewertung abzugeben.

The food was very delicious. We were four with two children. There was such a children's card and so they were very child-friendly. You have also received extra requests like only potato pulp for the youngest. The service was okay. Waiting for dinner a little long. Unfortunately there were no food for the waiting period that might be appropriate at 45 minutes. Otherwise quite full and that at corona times. One ventilator might have been appropriate. That's why I pulled a point. The tables were all disinfected in advance.

We were happy with a big table where we had a look at the other Diners' atmosphere. We were served by the very friendly Yvonne. She was attentive to the menus. She even found us an English menu to help us choose from dishes. I decided on the shnitzel a’ la kartoffelhaus #36 on menu, the Schnitzel had deliciously melted cheese up, fantastic! It was accompanied by very delicious red cabbage fried potatoes, an excellent choice. My friend went up for the potato mouse #83 on menu) that was a Gratin, the Veggies, a 10!!
