For appetizer I had a bass sabiche. It's was ok. Not more than that.I had a Cod fish that was good.Creme Brule was super.I looked at other deashes other got and it looked great. We all ( 8 individuals) left with the impression that it's a high quality restaurant.

I husband and I came here first for our anniversary in 2015 and quickly decided we want to make this an annual thing. Amabile is a very cute and cozy small little restaurant, both the small inside room and the outside terrace are really pretty. The service was great and the food fantastic every time. We also gave my parents a coupon for a dinner and they absolutely loved it as well. Highly recommendable!!

Recently owner, cook and staff changed in this tiny, charming gourmet restaurant. Interior modernized without changing the look. The food style stays French but added some Raffinesse and freshnessSize of portions are large for this restaurant category , possibly to much for some. Wine list improved - small but covering a wide spanParking in the area remains a challenge .Bottomline We liked it before - now we love it - looking forward to summer with the terrace

Advised by TripAdvisor we've booked a table for 4. Friendly welcomed by the owner and been respected like "Kings".We had a perfect starter (bouillabaisse and pork's cheaks with a creme of vegetables) an good, well tasting 2nd course (risotto).The main-course was unfortunately a bit "less" than average but the cheese-platern as dessert made this evening quit perfect. This restaurant is worth to try when visiting Köln (Germany) due to it's nice and fair kitchen and it's agreable atmosphere with only 40 couverts.

The reservation was easy and the unobtrusive and always available service ensured a completely successful restaurant experience. Never had empty glasses, never a rest on the plates. The 5 hours on site went as in the flight and we felt as well as supplied. The food was also interesting in its variants and extremely delicious. In addition, it is also appropriate for the price. Gastronomy and ambience at the best level.

My wife and I were expecting a delicious, well prepared and savory dinner. The restaurant is quaint and charming but could use a little cleaning. The wall near the table was food splattered, shelves were coated with dust. My appetizer was fine but my wife's was not so fresh. Either prepared too far in advance for dinner service or perhaps left over from previous day. Composition was mushy. Main entree: Roast beef was tough and chewy and the sauce was flavorless. The monkfish was ok. Creme brulee was alright and peach sorbet was overpowering. The cheese platter was ok, you are most likely not going to enjoy all selections. Service was good. Amabile stands out! ... From what and how you may ask. Germany is not known for good service in general and there is some truth to it but Amabile breaks those stereotype.Had dinner last Saturday. First of they are busy. Which means reservations are tricky :) But they made it happen. They were flexible and offered different options and made an effort to makes our visit possible where most places would say "sorry not possible".Once reached the service was super friendly. Gave enough privacy but they made sure to check up every now and then and serve as needed. All of that with a smile and sympathetic way !The place itself is cozy. Just right lighting.
