What a gem of a place. Great hosts and selection of food. Good variety and quality. Coffee and cake selection amazing!!

A friendly wee cafe with a huge specials menu. No issue catering for coeliacs In fact, it had been recommended on a coeliac facebook page. We ate lunch there twice and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely place opposite the wonder garden and ferry terminal. Food was good and kids were handed a goody bag, with puzzles, crayons, etc that was a bonus and kept them busy. Staff were really friendly and accommodating I had a salmon from their evening menu.

Stopped here for a bit of lunch and was definitely not disappointed .. delicious lentil soup and a boiling piece of bread .. followed by steak pie and the wife had a jacket tattie with tuna .. then a wee homemade scone.. anyone in Rothesay should pay Ambience a visit we'll be back thanks

I’ve eaten twice here since new ownership taken over recently and thorough enjoyed the traditional Caribbean food! The Blue Mountain coffee was fantastic a real treat. Beautiful views over to the harbour. Lovely friendly staff. Looking forward to having an evening meal with a glass of wine next time I go. Visualizza piatti

Not a 'fancy cafe ', furnishings somewhat basic, but the specials menu is surprisingly extensive with lots of choice. It 's the food, cooking and presentation which make this a special little place. The prices are reasonable too, especially given the quality of the food. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

We had two vegan hot dogs and one meat hot dog. These were all very tasty and filling. The cafe was very well set up to be Covid-19 safe, with hand cleaner, screens and excellent compliance with face masks. It's in a brilliant location for the ferry. I also had some vegan ice cream and undeestand that vegan cake will soon be available too. Great coffee with several choices of beans.

First time diner, good meal, lots of choices on today's specials. Good portion sizes. Good value for money. A big shout out to Hailey , who served us today. Great service and couldn't do enough for us. My wife is a wheelchair user and access wasn't a problem. Maybe a board or better signage with daily specials on would be good. As the window had basic choices, but they do a lot more and need to let people know. A really good experience and definitely will return. Thanks Visualizza piatti
