"The fare at Anicia is just incredible, with the standouts being the fresh, perfectly seasoned vegetables. I'm a carnivore but if there is a restaurant that could change my mind this would be the one. That's not to say the veal wasn't outstanding, because it certainly was. The gazpacho topped with truffles was an unexpected delight and I would have been happy with a few gallons of it. The only drawback was the service that went from O.K. to slow, so perhaps they need to add a server. This wonderful little bistro quickly made it to our top ten Paris beanery spots. At 70 euros each it wasn't cheap but next month we'll remember the meal, not the cost."

second time in a few month , very good quality and service! Fully or nearly fully booked so you need to book it in advance...I do not hope it gets a michelin star, then everything changes and it becomes less good!

Excellent food, very nice environment and the best were the explanation of the chef at the end of the meal to explain the source of the products he is using. His passion for the food, passion for the region he comes from was so refreshing and interesting. Highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Anicia was warmly recommended to us by people whose taste we trust. We were four for dinner and felt rather dissappointed. The food was OK - no more and no less. Nothing exciting, nothing breathtaking, just the usuall pretencious Paris fare. The service was rather slapdash and unprofessional. Price much too high for what we had. You can do much better for dinner in Paris.

The chef put heart into his food. The flavors are not standard and put you a bit off kilter. The dishes are prepared well and are well thought out. I can't say that it was excellent in the sense that I was not crazy about the dishes, but, as a foody I did appreciate the twist on flavors and the shock of some of the textures/flavors. I loved the cozy, relaxed warm ambience and likable staff.

Went with friends who know the restaurant. Easy to order, wait staff ready to explain food, did not push us to decide and order, timely service, professional. Small restaurant where reservations were important, no one waiting however. I tasted others' dishes in addition to my...own, and was pleased with all the food. Interesting mixture of foods. Other friends from the Auvergne region of the country knew of the chef and how good the food is. Definitely worth returning. Wine also very nice.

We had heard that a new restaurant had opened close by - the locals were right. A Michelin star chef from the countryside has come to the big city and we are so glad he did. We took the menu degustation entre main cheese dessert. I will comment the dessert "a walkin the woods" eclair, apple compote, 90% chocolate, hazelnuts. Devine devine devine. A fabulous food experience in an unassuming decor with great service not to be missed - hurry before the word gets out leaving you waiting an eternity for a table.

Soothing wooden interior - absolutely fabulous food. The menu changes with the seasons - I had the autumn vegetable dish which looked a little like stir-fry when it arrived, but was anything but ... About 12 different vegetables - each cooked to perfection - amazing skill and top quality produce combined for an unexpected delight ! Be sure to order a cheese board - fabulous regional cheeses. And then top it all off with a pear soufflé tart ? Or chocolate extravaganza ? Good wines by the glass. Surprisingly reasonable for such fabulous cuisine. For those who like a fixed menu - 5 courses = 59 euros.

The restaurant is small so reservation are recommended (same day probably OK). Some outdoor seating when the weather is nice (beware of smokers). The decor is simple and modern. The service is efficient and friendly (English spoken). When full, the food is coming quite slowly. Very fresh and natural products. Modern but not too much. They have a great 5 course discovery menu for 59 euros. The bread is not up to par (but still good). The plates look nice (a part from the plates themselves that do no give full credit to their content). A great experience. Overall 72€ per person with a glass of wine and water.
