Archers Kitchen And Cocktails

We are regulars to this restaurant and the food is amazing. However, when the owner is not there the service is awful. We sat there for 20 minutes today and no one came over to take drinks or food order and it wasn’t particularly busy. It’s getting to the point that the poor service is putting us off ever going back.

We went in for a pre-dinner cocktails and were persuaded to stay for dinner. We were so glad we did! There were loads of veggie options and I really struggled to choose! The animal fries and the veggie burrito bowl were absolutely delicious, and a mudslide makes an excellent dessert. If I go back to King's Lynn I will definitely go back.

I cannot rate this place highly enough! I had the Buffalo Burger. It was without a doubt, the best chicken burger I have a had in a long time, possible ever! The service was also really friendly, quick. The staff made a big effort to interact with our little one, which they didn't need to do so they went the extra mile to make our experience an enjoyable one. Thank you Archers! We will be back soon. It was our first time visiting and will come again! We’re both vegans and there was lots of choice, including burgers, hot dogs and nachos. Unfortunately, the hot dogs and lentil burger weren’t available to order so I had a veggie burger instead. The portions were massive and I particularly liked the chips and coleslaw! I’d like to visit again and try the chilli hot dog! Staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Service was quick.

Upon our arrival, we were promptly seated by the friendly and welcoming staff. They made us feel comfortable right away. We ordered a Breakfast Burrito and Chilli Nachos, with the added bonus of the chilli being gluten-free and the cheese being swapped for a vegan version to accommodate my intolerances. The food looked amazing when it arrived. The Chilli paired perfectly with the nachos and was delicious. The Burrito was also delightful and full of flavor. We really enjoyed our meal and the overall experience. Highly recommended.

As regular customers for lunch on Saturdays my partner and I have noticed that the service has got worse. If the owner isn’t there, the young staff who despite doing their best, leave customers for ages before taking orders and don’t notice when customers need them. Today we received our beers but no glasses, then we waited 50 mins for 2 basic mains and a side dish, they came followed by our cutlery. The food is good and the staff are lovely but it’s clear there weren’t enough doing front of house and probably the kitchen, as we weren’t alone waiting ages today. WARNING FOR THOSE WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS! As a vegetarian for over 30 years, I was initially pleased to discover a cafe with a wide selection of delicious vegetarian and vegan options. However, my experience turned sour when I found beef in my supposedly vegetarian nachos. Despite my complaint, the waitress's apology was lackluster and the only gesture was not charging me for the dish. There was no recognition of the mistake or concern for the potential harm it could have caused if it were an allergy. The lack of sincerity in the apology was disappointing, and even after spending a significant amount of money at the restaurant, the compensation offered was minimal. I will not be returning...

We’re pretty much in kings Lynn every other week. And I’ve had to ask myself… why haven’t I been here B4? Archers is a little cafe cocktail bar gem. Today was our youngest treat day and he wanted pancakes… so looking online we found this place, and we are so happy we did! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely friendly host , sat down and within 15mins had our food all at the same time. We were really looking forward to our brunch, unfortunately it didn’t live up to our expectations. Firstly I called to reserve a table to be told on arrival that it wasn't available only then to be seated but no apology. The drinks were bought out at different times 20 minutes for 2 teas Latte had already been drank. We were contemplating leaving but finally our food came. The beans were cold and had to be sent back. The ‘Right Stuff’ was cold but as we had already waited almost an hour decided just to eat it.
