"very disappointing Sunday afternoon visit to family birthday. service very haphazard unconsistent, missed ordered items, wrong food drink brought to table, long delays for some dishes without forthcoming declaration. long delays in clearing plates, although the pub appeared quiet. some very casual and uninterested coworkers did not look like they wanted to be there. bad vegetarian choice in the rule, and court was chosen really badly put together and over price for what it was a large plate over eisberg salat with a handful aubergine discs. very dissatisfied feeling that the dings have moved now and vegetarian dishes should not be the bad relation to meat. other family members enjoy their Brat dinner, but overall I would not recommend this place to eat."

this was a favorite, but last Sunday was chaos. terrible service and long wait for food. my starter was unbearable and a general disappointment around.

great reception, although we are extremely muddy! beautiful atmosphere in the bar where we eat tasty food. enjoyed the experience and stayed longer than expected

A beautiful meal and great service. Staff were helpful and attentive yet gave us enough space and privacy to enjoy our evening. The food was delicious (steak and chicken schnitzel for mains) and portion sizes were just right.

The service was poor as it took a while to be seated. Drinks were served quickly, but it took them 35 minutes to take our food order. When the food arrived, it was anything special my pie was burnt. We won't be going back anytime soon.

Really poor. Tried to order pork belly but wasn’t told till going to order that they were out of it. Ordered beef which didn’t have the Yorkshire pudding. Then ordered apple crumble and custard, was brought with ice cream which I don’t eat so had fry crumble as they ran out of custard too apparently. No offer of alternatives or apologies. And it wasn’t busy so no excuses to be fair

Since our last visit, the menu has changed, and for the better. There is now a good selection of regular and more adventurous dishes, so something for everyone. I enjoyed parsnip and sweet potato soup, an excellent fish pie followed by a cherry pavlova. Our party made various choices, and all were very satisfied with their meals. Although prices have increased, they were much as we expected, so I look forward to another visit to the Bathurst Arms.

child portions of pasta were incredibly small and left our children still hungry, so we had to order extra portions of chips for them. mixed quality of food for adults within our party, some were delicious, but overall small teller sizes. we found out that the Ravioli starter was cold and the vegan aubergine main was essentially 6 slices of aubergine on salad, with very little to the court, and strange mix of aromen that did not go quite. we celebrated a birthday and the restaurant team looked after us well and we are happy to bring a birthday cake we had brought.
