Yes, just excellent. We started with Champagne, then continued with 2 bottles of Madiran. Weather was great, company was interested and interesting and the food started to appear. First, a local soup of duck, potatoes and other vegetables. I personally could have made it the...2nd course too, but we've already ordered the main course, Ris de Veau. Unique. Food to find in Gascogne, no doubt.

We sort of stumbled into this restaurant on a Sunday...we were planning to go to the place right next door for a pizza and a salad, but somehow got confused. Since we were late for lunch (at least in this part of the world), by...the time we discovered our mistake we had already asked the waitress if the kitchen would serve us, and were already sitting down outside at a nice shaded table.
