Au clocher de Montmartre

Very stylish restaurant close to the sacre coeur in Monmatre. Good value, good food and friendly service.

Ride the Fanuiel ? up to this excellent restaurant. We had lunch there and it was delicious. I had the cod, vegetables, a salad. Others had duck confit. The excellent lunch was followed by superb chocolate cake with nuts and chocolate sauce.

This bar is quite simply one of the best bars in the whole city, there's a story, there's a good atmosphere, the owner is a great guy, you can chat with him without any problem The prices are more than affordable The atmosphere is nice Honestly great!!!

We selected this restaurant not knowing anything about it. We were very pleasantly surprised by the ambiance but even more by the food.The dishes had a lot of different flavours. We had a great time identifying these and to agree as well.We shal be back. I understand the chef has four different restaurants in Montmartre, we shall try them all!

Concretely, I see Loulou as a bar by default, in the sense that it is really the bar to get to know your class at the start of the year because it is next to the Catho de Lille. However, in reality, the bar is not incredible without being bad. I would say it's average, it's often crowded and it's difficult to order. The layout of the space isn't crazy either, but very good for watching a match.

We were headed for La Lamarck down the street, but it was closed on Monday nights, so we backtracked here. There's a nice view from the little windows at the back, if you get one of the two tables there. The food was solidly bistro-French, but nothing spectacular. The crowd was largely local, so it can't have been too bad, though. My roast chicken was fine (with frites).The service was very pleasant, and we left satisfied. So I'd say don;t make a special trip here, but if you're in Montmartre and hungry, you'll find a good meal here.

We stumbled in here for a late lunch after visiting the Sacre Coeur. At first we weren't even sure it was open because there were literally no other diners in the restaurant. But I am sure glad we went in anyway. We had the whole place to ourselves, and the food was amazing! The server was very nice, not pushy and left us mostly to ourselves to have a nice intimate lunch. My husband got the steak frites, which included amazing-tasting fries and a huge slab of steak! So amazing. I got the chicken dish, and that was out of this world amazing. I chose this restaurant for our New Year's Eve Meal mainly down to location (we wanted to be at the Sacre Coeur to see the New Year in) but the special menu itself was reasonably priced and looked appetising. We located the restaurant really easily and were pleased with the view of the Sacre Coeur from our table. The welcome was friendly and efficient. We began with hor d'oeuvres and a chilled glass of fizz. There was no pre-order which was great, we both had the terrine which was light and crammed full of well cooked vegetables. After having sampled Monsieur Heerah's imaginative dishes at another of his Montmartre establishments, Chamarre Montmartre, we were surprised to stumble upon this little gem, another of his four local restaurants in the area, nicely located behind the Sacre Coeur. Being a Tuesday evening, the dining room was quiet, but our waitress was attentive and friendly, without being overbearing. The room was beautifully decorated with festive trinkets, which gave the restaurant a warm, welcoming feel.
