Nice view, friendly staff and excellent food. Even the kids enjoyed the meals which often is quitte different.

Turned up withou booking early Sat eve but seated quickly. Pleasant helpful staff and good choice on menu. Food served quickly and was excellent. Dessert gourmand was amazing see pic.

The menu at l'Auberge is probably as french as it can get with many classics, Tournedos Rossini, Foie Gras, Snails, Frog Legs etc. The food is solid but there is certainly room for improvements, the stem cabbage served was really hard, almost wooden.

From our barge we walked to the Auberge. This is the only building around so although it looked attractive we didn’t have great expectations. This was our best meal as we barged through a very rural part of France. I had the best sweetbreads I can remember. Others had beef, chicken and fish. We all agreed the meal was delicious.

We arrived by boat on a wet October Sunday and were delighted by this simple restaurant. The menus were interesting and the meals delicious. I particularly enjoyed the snail fricassee starter. Just two staff were serving quite a full restaurant and whilst they were helpful and charming, inevitably service was slow at times particularly when one was serving a table of nine from the excellent cheese trolley. Thoroughly enjoyable meal and such a shame I’m unlikely to pass by again. Visualizza piatti
