"I love the outside of this hostel that really makes a hostel!! or we still feel like we hear the horses, not the horses. I even find a bit of a shame that the bosses wanted to follow the current trends by changing the inside, but that's just a detail. The kitchen is simple and tasteful with it seems to me fresh products except certainly the dorade net which seems to me a little too well calibrated for not having been frozen but which does not spoil anything to the quality of the dish. As far as we are concerned, the welcome was very pleasant and even friendly with the patronage we spoke to about our beautiful country the france and its many gourmet tables. This restaurant is a good address to enjoy with simple cuisine and simple products.We will go back on it."

family and friendly welcome. The boss has been welcoming you for more than 20 years with goodwill. The kitchen is good and copyy.Choice of wines in 1/2 bottle limited but of quality. A good evening quiet.Budget 115€ for 2 with 2 cups of champagne at 8.00€ biche foie gras and 1/2 bordeau; quite normal

a disappointing value/price ratio, a kitchen far from being bad but very unfinished recipes, the so-called revisited tiramisu is just a speculoos shotamisu full of cocoa and with a neutral creme, a waitress who, by the fact of noticing, forgets things and only takes care of its customers very little. we did not have the large room as presented on the internet descriptions (not updated) but a very ordinary room. more card but only a choice between two menus at 38 euros certainly good but we were disappointed for this anniversary lunch that my husband offered me and which should not wear the gastronomic label. only positive point: the wine that was excellent

We didn't know this hostel but we decided to go eat there for 7 people on Saturday noon.Good reception on startup and very pleasant and good meals. Things got a little bit spoiled when we asked for a water carafe (after eating a bottle of Evian, 7 aperitives and a bottle of wine)The skipper immediately changed its tone and became much less merchants . the cafes , that is to say offered for any reservation made before 11h , we were billed , all for an addition of more than 300€. In the end unpleasant impression of being taken only for blue card.

"We took advantage of a good gift to resound the experience of the Auberge du Forgeron that we had already tested last year in September. A 4-stroke ride, caviar of lentils, carpaccio Saint-Jacques, pig breast cooked for 17h, perfect chicory glazed speculos. The potiron cappuccino served in mouth amuse was simply delicious to redo at home if possible! ( Chef’s secret: curry, orange juice and coconut milk). Flips the eye of successful caviar, a true talent for seasonings, associations like the saint-jacques mango passion, the purée carottes-ananas... a conductive line throughout the meal around spices... Little disappointments as to sweetness, a perfect so glazed that it was difficult to "cut", in excess of sugar for me, a biscuit too sweet, speculos and caramel too strong in sugar, regret not to find more chicory for its bitterness. A few drops of caramel would have been enough. The small furnaces that accompany the coffee were all unreplaced without exception, it is a pity; The macaron exploded between our fingers, a little duck just out of the oven would have been enough. The display tree was more attractive than its content. A smiling team, very kind, a smiling Chef, available in the room... of the table arts in improvement...
