"My first visit to Auras was like something out of a classic Italian film. Fresh off the ferry from Naples we stopped in for lunch and it was everything I could have wished for. I value atmosphere as much as great food when looking for a place to eat on holiday and Auras delivered in spades on both counts. Think La Dolce Vita, Under The Tuscan Sun and Talented Mr Ripley (without the murder) rolled into one. Complete with soundtrack. Unlike your regular tourist trap which I’ve been suckered into plenty believe me, this place had a menu selection with its eye on the future to keep things fresh but enough tradition that gave it the heart and soul of an authentic Italian restaurant without being stodgy. Attentive staff who were charming without being pushy or overbearing and the best aspect of the Castello from anywhere on the island that made me want to sit with my Aperol Spritz soaking in that view for hours. Oh and the best Tiramisu I’ve ever had. Period. So beautiful was our experience that we ended up coming back for dinner several times during our week long stay in Ischia and it was even more romantic at night."

Auras is special, both for the cuisine and for the romantic atmosphere and warmth. The menu is exquisite. We have not tasted anything more delicious in Ischia antipasti, homemade pasta (pasta with langoustine, zucchini flowers and pasta with crab), main courses, desserts (mascarpone and limoncello cloud and tiramisu). Great selection of fresh fish at reasonable prices. Warm, caring service, felt like visiting friends. Especially memorable was the wonderful music selection, which makes the restaurant very atmospheric. Auras is one of the reasons why we want to return to Ischia next year.

Ecco una riscrittura della recensione del ristorante in italiano: CENA VEGETARIANA B.E.S.T. sull'isola! Tutto era delizioso! Abbiamo assaggiato sia il tartare di carote che il tartare di barbabietola come antipasti, i ravioli viola e il risotto di melanzane come piatti principali, e il tiramisù e la cattedrale di nocciole per i dessert! La location è perfettamente situata a pochi passi dall'acqua con una vista diretta sul Castello Aragonese. Una leggera brezza, barche che passano, davvero romantico!
