Very good lyonnais cap. The super copious quenelle blower and the very good wet. An address to be recommended.

1 star per husband What a disappointment this restaurant 1 hour for a dish of pasta barely eatable and even 1 hour for pasta.... What a shame!

Authentic? Wouldn't know, but assume so as we were referred by a local Lyonnais colleague. Delicious? Not mind blowing. Recommend the Beef (local sausage and fish dishes were just okay) and fromage sample plate. Setting was Charming. Service was top rate and very helpful that everyone spoke great English.

very cozy and historical restaurant in the center of lyon. Traditional dishes for a great culinary experience of the region. very fine and delicious foie gras, and very well prepared queen, andouillette and ente magret. also delicious desserts and the best ristretto and espresso I have tried throughout the region. good wine selection too.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
