Baan Thai - Menu

started with the family in heidelberg. I ordered spring rolls and pad pet pla (fish bowl.) very good eating. we went in to get our food and the place looked very nice. would both take out and eat.

all good at this place was the service (healthy, nice young lady) that eat. . I would think it was from a bad fast food bar. . surely no restaurant. that was just bad and the portion was very small and they can only pay cash. .

we waited 45 minutes before someone asked if we wanted to order drinks. incredibly slow, even with other tables. Maybe they don't like English people, and then they don't take a visum, so they had to go to a point. very disappointing.

this is really my favorite place for Thai eating, and all my colleagues I have shown this place also love it. it is not very large and also parking is not always easy, but eating is delicious. also try the homemade chai-eiste with milk, which is especially great in combination with a sharp/hot dish.

I have visited the baan thai restaurent now twice and I must say that eating is very delicious! it is very authentic and the service takes care of individual preferences such as sharpness or other ingredients. difficult to find, the restaurant is not located in the center of the city, making the use of a vehicle indispensable. but it is worth it anyway and despite the ugly look from outside they find a good looking and cheap Thai restaurant. only 4 stars because the location and the building are not the most attractive! but it doesn't matter, because it's fantastic!

since we have been staying this cozy little place in rohrbach for several years, we were firmly convinced that the restaurant regarding the service (tolles eating, friendly atmosphere, always smiling host) was the only happy takeout in this country. when we entered in the hope to enjoy one of their delicious cocktails, we experienced a shock: the host has us (with a smile!) after ten (the opening time should be until 23 clock) were still visitors to the tables, and we wanted only a few drinks and no hot kitchen. So, German, here is our message to you: it is time to learn the meaning of the word service!

Having been regular visitors of this cozy little place in Rohrbach for a couple of years now, we firmly believed the restaurant was the only happy exception in this country as far as service is concerned (great food, friendly atmosphere, host always smiling)... until tonight....As we stepped in hoping to enjoy one of their nice cocktails we were in for a shock: the host PUT US OUT (with a smile saying it was getting late and they were about to close despite the fact that it was five minutes after ten (the opening hour are said to be till 11 pm), there were still visitors at tables, and all we wanted was a couple of drinks and no hot kitchen. Well... just another bitter disappointment confirm...

was there with my brother and my man for dinner. our waiter was very rude from the beginning. when other reviewers say that the owner/server is rude, they mean it seriously. next to our table speisten two Indian men. she actually told us, "Take a seat here, these people are also Indians." we had the same feeling about a better service for groups like other critics have commented. our food came after a long time and with aqueous currys and uncooked rice it was a complete disappointment. when I asked about a edible sauce, the waiter told me, "not free, they pay and get something." we asked for water and she brought us a glass of water, but she calculated us mineral water. make sure they get th...

I have been going to this restaurant for years, but the service there has changed drastically. after many weeks of closure since the end of last year I have been happy to find this restaurant again open (because I have to say that was always very good) and had pleasure on a few early buns to take along and rice...At order I sat down on a small table because the restaurant was full this evening.
