The food was great (lecker Sauerbraten and Franconian sausages) recommended!

Double prices for large portions. 21 Euro for Ravioli!!! Entry to the guestbook was not published. No answer to my complaint. Price was not notified before.

Delicious Franconian cuisine! Fortunately, without reservation, you will get a place on the regular table. Super friendly and attentive! Rouladen and Sauerbraten Wut!

Very rustic. Here is a grounded Franconian cuisine, which arrived very well with us. Excellent wines from the top wines of Franken can be found in the back oefele on the wine map. The operator is a class for itself, friendly and even flee in high power.

A must for a Würzburg visitor, although very expensive. But the ambience is worth it. Food is very good – smaller dishes at affordable prices. It offers typical Franconian dishes and drinks. But also vegetarian, good salads... Reservation must be, otherwise you will probably not be a place or only at times you cannot choose. Desserts are very tasty, but also very expensive. The beverage prices are in the upper range. In the immediate vicinity is the cathedral, Neumünster, the old main bridge overlooking the fortress...

Last week we ordered 3 x brunette and 1 x meat box with roast potatoes. The brunettes tasted nothing, the skin was completely burned and therefore not edible. The sauce was already covered with a layer of fat while serving. The meat cube was also not better, the roast potatoes were drinking fat, the sauce as well. Over the past 20 years, we haven't been serving such a bad meal as here. You live in Bachöfele only from the image, but certainly not from the offered quality. By the way, no service person considered necessary to operate the phone. For 45 minutes only phone rings.

Honestly, I cannot fully understand the negative criticisms of the Backöfele. I find that the Backöfele is a really nice, rustic, Franconian restaurant in the heart of the Würzburg Old Town. You sit very comfortably in the converted barn area or in the restaurant everything very old, heavy and wooden. I can complain about the quality of food typical Franconian dedication. Of course not very cheap, but quality has its price and performance ratio, I think it fits. The bakery also has an outstanding selection of Franconian wines. In addition, the Backöfele offers lunch for seven Euros smoothly. So come again and again; especially the friendly staff. No bad experiences yet.
