Perfect ambience and selected good food in historical building, with a correspondingly friendly hospitality.

Have spent a wonderful time in this historic hotel...Personal and the kitchen are top class, will definitely descend here.

We only visited the restaurant on two evenings. The food was very good. Quick and nice operation. At the next stay in Meersburg we come back.

Central location, small but clean rooms in rustic style, very small bathroom, good service, especially with the maid, simple but good breakfast.

Very clean, beautifully located, owner-guided hotel.Overnight parking is a bit scarce.Frough is fine, could be a bit more varied.The hotel is not represented on all online booking sites, just call.

We were with our group. It was all well prepared and we were received very friendly. The food came fast and simply tasted good. And what was new: The bear in Meersburg is even related to the Ottilienquelle in Randegg. That gives home feeling.

I haven't eaten so bad at Lake Constance yet. The late ards come from the bag, salted in a strange cheese liquid and onions. Should be cheese parrots. The salad was also desalinated. I forgive 1 star for the extraordinarily friendly service that would have earned 5. She apologized several times and I could pick up a dessert. Thanks again!

For many years we have come regularly, often even spontaneously over the weekend. Here we feel totally comfortable and cozy. The house has a rustic, very own character and fits perfectly in the cityscape. Services, cook friendly and courteous, rooms simple and clean and also dogs are welcome (for this there are 2 separate rooms) . Factory: If you don't have to lift it, the classic kitchen loves and who wants it rustic and cozy, in the bear is just right

Was the third time in the bear and will definitely come back in 2023. Ambience, kitchen and the great service of the Bear team under the direction of Michael Gilowsky are simply top. Among other things, had pork carvings with cranberries, brewmaster Steak in Caraway dark beer sauce, onion pink roasts and of course Lake Constance Rand fillet in almond butter. All fresh and delicious. The rooms are lovingly furnished and very well maintained. For us a highlight in Meersburg. Thank you and hopefully soon...
