Two of us ate here friday night 7.30pm Wasn't greeted on arrival wasn't seated.Solo staff /waitress had no interest in us or the menu .They didnt have any

I can't comment on the food quality yet, but we've been sitting here for over an hour waiting for our food and there are only 2 other tables of people here.

Bamboula is a simple, relaxed little Caribbean place with a good atmosphere and mixed crowd, great reggae beats and soulful food . El G, The Man From Snowy River and I went along on Friday but was very sad to hear that they'd run out of Jerk Chicken by 9.

great first impression. I had a great time for my first visit at the bamboula caribbean restaurant. I had a curry. the food was great (I was a bit disappointed about the amount of rice). the music set the mood and the waitress/waxsin was very friendly. Whenever I am in london, I will visit the bamboula caribbean restaurant.

don't go there. we went to bamboula on Friday night to eat a meal. halfway through our meal the dame came to our table to ask us to hurry because they have another booking. we had not even begun our meal times. that really upset us and after that I didn't eat another mouth full. I went straight from my lunch, I won't be back.

if they like me, they have never tried Caribbean food before and have a thing for spicy food, then I would tell them definitiw if they are everywhere in london and try to go a Caribbean cuisine then they go to bamboula! it is easy to locate and not to mention served authentic Caribbean dishes the way they should be... super spicy! I had the curry goat and my friend had the salt fish dish. both dishes were delicious, although the salt plate could be larger! other than that, I loved it! good service. eating to beautify (spiciness of the food is just perfect! beautiful ambiente. a 5* deserves, at least in my books!

decided to go to dinner after a busy day after brixton, as I wanted to take my little brother, who visited from Scotland for some Western Indian / Caribbean food! I was devastated to discover that brixton village had not been opened (if wiser and checked forward, rookie error! but one who paid zomato to rettung to find somewhere to dinner, a just 4 minutes to foot from the tube station bamboula offered a taste of the Caribbean perfect for a beginner of the kitchen of the service was warm and friendly and the portions are massive! Mediocre service. I must say that the starters at Bamboula were very good (particularly the plantain ring). The main meal on the other hand was mediocre as was the service. Unfortunately, I do not think I will go again. The restaurant closes at 11 and at around 10 to 11 they were already cleaning up and assembling the tables, none of the people in my party felt comfortable, they were basically kicking us out. In fact, at around 11:02 the manager came to tell us that they were closed (she effectively shouted this at us). In addition, the restaurant was understaffed with only one waitress who had clearly had a bad day, not only was she rude, she also served us the mains with no cutlery and...r...
